Arcswood is a social enterprise providing Training Courses and Grounds & Woodland Maintenance Services in Pembrokeshire, based at the Rural Skills Training Centre, Pembroke School. We are a registered Community Interest Company with a passion to ensure that young people and adults in our community do not become disadvantaged by a lack of volunteering, work experience and training opportunities. Our aim is to support young people and adults of all abilities, including those with additional learning needs. To achieve this aim we have developed three innovative methods of support: 1. Combining volunteering, work experience and assisted employment with a successful high quality grounds and woodlands maintenance service. This ensures participants gain valuable experience in a real workplace environment. 2. Developing community conservation projects to enable volunteers from the local area to learn conservation skills, work towards benefiting the community and benefiting the community and building an ethos of volunteering. 3. Providing nationally recognised work related land based training . Arcswood CIC is a registered training centre for Lantra Awards. This ensures participants gain the skills, experience and qualifications necessary to improve their chances of gaining employment or progressing to further training.

All of our coaches are British Gymnastics trained and undergo safeguarding training. They are all screened by the Data & Barring Service to ensure your child is protected and safe.

A former Detective in Child abuse who dealt with Mental Health firsthand turned her passion into founding Kilpatrick Training & Consultancy (KTC) in 2017. Rebecca specializes in delivering Mental Health First Aid, Mental Health Awareness & Well-being, Domestic Abuse, Child Protection and Online safety awareness courses. These packages have been used by schools, parents, and even the Royal Artillery Barracks British Army, Allied World assurance, Bluebird Care and overseas in America. Rebecca is used to delivering to wider audiences and regularly delivers to police officers. She is also an associate trainer for the Lighthouse Charity (Construction industry), Coach Forever Limited, Premiere Partnership, Safeguarding Training, delivering all aspects of mental health and Child Safeguarding Training.

We offer face to face training in schools and other venues, as this seems to be more successful in encouraging interaction and discussion. However, we also offer the same training remotely, using Microsoft Teams or Zoom should it be required by a school or by local Covid regulations.

Meadowbank Gymnastics Club can confirm we have a number of highly skilled qualified coaches and judges who are actively involved within the club’s coaching team and are all extremely dedicated and passionate about gymnastics. All of our coaches have enhanced PVG Disclosures and have completed Safeguarding Training through Scottish Gymnastics.
