Since the 1920s, Morley Exhibitions has been supporting the creative development of Morley’s students and providing cultural engagement across all centres and subjects. Based across nine display spaces at the Waterloo, Chelsea and North Kensington Centres, Morley Exhibitions maintains a regular programme to showcase the talents of the student and staff community. Morley College London is home to artists working across all art forms and at all stages of their careers: students, emerging and established. Our exhibitions programme presents new ideas and different perspectives in ways that are inclusive, innovative and inspiring. Most prominent of our exhibition spaces is Morley Gallery, a two story state-of-the-art art gallery in a converted pub at the Waterloo Centre. Opened in 1969, it is currently in the last stages of a major refurbishment and will reopen in Spring 2021. We’re excited to announce a new programme of shows in the new year. Morley Exhibitions also maintains our important permanent collection of artworks on display around the college buildings. This including murals by Edward Bawden and large installation paintings by Martin Froy, John Piper and Bridget Riley. Also on show are portraits of Morley’s principals painted by Maggi Hambling, a highly valued member of our teaching staff since the 1970s. I am passionate about resilience and helping people understand how important resilience is in our lives. I studied with some of the leading international experts working to promote resilience. For the last 5 years I have been actively promoting resilience with individuals, families, organisations and communities. I had spent many years working in the field of positive psychology and therapy and it was here in Barcelona that I discovered the world of resilience and was lucky enough to attend the first post graduate course in the Promotion of Resilience at the University of Barcelona. This allowed me to meet and learn from leading figures in Resilience work in Europe and Latin America and the most generous teachers. I also studied a postgraduate diploma in mental health and migration. Moving around can bring opportunity but also challenges. I have lived in many countries and met a lot of diverse and truly inspiring people in different cultures and languages. Living an international life can feel like an amazing adventure but also comes with its challenges and I have worked with many individuals and families over the years helping them to find their feet again. Life experience, literature, music and films have always fed my resilience work but I have been studying and researching along the way to back up my instincts with analysis and ideas based on theory and practice. About Me I am Steve Creffield, a workshop facilitator, designer and coach. I am at my best hosting dynamic and innovative workshops in which people can discover, evolve and safely practice new approaches. I also enjoy the richness of working 1-1 with clients in a coaching capacity and as a designer. For over two decades, I have hosted workshops in Universities, the Health Sector, and NGO's in UK and worked globally with clients like the United Nations, The Palladium Group, WaterAid, and many more. The projects we work on are aligned to developing shared meaning and purpose, improving collaboration, and focus on innovative ways to move forward. My approach integrates research and insights from multiple fields and weaves them into creative workshops, coaching and bespoke solutions. Solution-focused techniques, Living Systems approaches and storytelling underpin much of what I do. My aim always is to adapt and refine this approach so that it aligns with your hopes and aspirations. In 2009, Zaytuna College was founded in Berkeley, CA, with a mission that called for grounding students in the Islamic scholarly tradition as well as in the cultural currents and critical ideas shaping modern society. Today, we welcome students from across the world to both our BA and MA programs. Our BA program is in liberal arts and Islamic studies, providing students with a foundation in the intellectual heritage of two major world civilizations: the Islamic and the Western. For our MA program we offer two tracks in Islamic texts: Islamic theology and philosophy or Islamic law and legal theory. This program aims to provide students with higher-level access to the Islamic tradition through a guided course of study in Islam’s primary sources. At Zaytuna College, we have set out to do our best at restoring the broad-based, holistic tradition of what in the West was called the liberal arts and in the Muslim civilization was known as comprehensive studies. These civilizations share common aims: to think deeply and systematically about the world (creation), to ponder its ultimate source and purpose (Creator), and to live ethically in the course of our individual and collective lives (spirituality and politics). Ultimately, the purpose of education from an Islamic perspective—and for Zaytuna College—is to aid students in their own pursuit and discovery, inculcating the love of beauty, truth, and goodness in a human being.

My name’s Marion Webber and I’ve been working in the field of Arts in Health and more general participatory arts for over a decade. Studies* have proven the benefits of taking part in creative activities that support our daily lives. I founded Arting Celfio during 2020, to enable Healthcare professionals and artists specialising within Arts and Health to collaborate and provide high-quality, tailor-made, person-centered arts projects. I am a practicing artist based in South Wales, with extensive experience in Participatory Arts Practice. This has given me the privilege to work with diverse participants on many commissions resulting in the installation of artworks in both temporary and permanent exhibitions. My art practice and knowledge inform how I collaborate and co-curate projects with Healthcare professionals and fellow artists within the field of Arts in Health. I have an MA (with Distinction - Arts Practice Arts, Health and Wellbeing) and gained a PGCE PcET Teaching Qualification (Post-16 and Adult Education sectors). I deliver creative workshops, informed by reflective practice and a commitment to continued professional development that connects, and provides meaningful activities that value people’s input and stories. Inclusion Expert’s founder, Daniel Sobel, is an internationally respected leader in inclusive education and has advised the DfE, the EU and governments abroad. Daniel is a well-known speaker, writes regularly for publications including Headteacher Update and The Guardian, and is the author of several books including Narrowing the Attainment Gap. Daniel left school with no A Levels and read his first book aged 18. Gradually he fell in love with study and managed to secure a place on a Master’s course in Education Psychology. He went on to take four graduate courses in Psychology and Education, eventually running out of money in the middle of doctoral training. Daniel moved to full time teaching and quickly became a SENCO. Dismayed by how much of the job was pointless meetings and paperwork, he started designing tools to better support his students. During a stint as Assistant Head he continued to develop simple systems to help teachers manage information and maximise the impact of their interventions. Realising that many teachers were struggling with inclusion, that his ideas really worked, and that there was an opportunity to make a difference to children across the country, Daniel left teaching, somewhat hesitantly, to form Inclusion Expert. Over the last few years the company has grown rapidly to encompass a team of experienced practitioners who share Daniel’s vision that every child deserves the opportunity to achieve their potential, regardless of needs, background or ability.

We are located on the high street in the idyllic village of Chobham, Surrey. Our shop is inside a beautiful 16th century building with the most amazing baker’s ovens at the back! Yes we have ovens at the back of our shop not working I don’t think... anyways their listed part of the building and beautifully untouchable. Being built in the 16th century our shop has very low ceilings (be sure to duck) and many different parts to it, the shop goes back very far giving us a lot of working space and you a lot of browsing space. There has been a flower shop located on Chobham High Street for over 15 years it has been in the hands of what I believe to be 3 different florists, I (Lizzie) purchased Chobham Flowers in October 2019 and am so very grateful to have become a part of the most supportive and kind community that Chobham is. We are a beautiful fun loving group of florists, who love to chat away in the shop making beautiful bouquets for our wonderful customers sending them out all over surrey to be delivered to big smiley faces. Our styles are all unique but we all have one thing in common FLOWERS! Lots of beautiful flowers in all shapes, sizes, colours and forms. With years of floral experience we love creating anything and everything we get our hands on so don’t be shy with your creative ideas.
