Tyrone (with Donegal); as well as facilitating some clients who reside in the city of Derry and surrounding area. Our Head Office and base in Northern Ireland is in Strabane, County Tyrone where we have our social enterprise – Strabane Garden Centre which is open all year round.We have in total 45 adults ranging from 19 years to retirement age, availing of their own person-centred, Western Health & Social Care Trust (Learning Disability) – funded programme on either a full-time or part-time basis. Opening Doors, Opening Minds Since 1995, New Horizons Partnership Ltd. has been a committed Community / Voluntary organisation; wholly funded by the Western Health & Social Care Trust (WHSCT) (Learning Disability) in Northern Ireland to provide services of excellence to school leavers & adults of all ages with learning disabilities; supporting & equipping each referred individual with the appropriate skills, knowledge & confidence required to enrich & improve the quality of their lives and the lives of their families.

Established in 2011, Health Link Services (UK) is a growing Accredited Social Enterprise Training company which delivers tailor made bespoke short courses or longer-term training programs. We hold approved centre status with two awarding bodies, so that we can offer both accredited and non-accredited programs to suit your organisations training needs. Our company is accredited with the Advantage Independent Accreditation in Learning. We are a member of Association of Health Care Trainers (AoHT) and we also work in partnership with De Montfort University in Leicester (UK). Health Link Services (UK) works with individuals from different communities, community organisations and different companies registered in Health and Social Care. As a growing and expanding company, we take pride in the fact that we are friendly, approachable and professional. We provide a high level of customer service. Our training facilities are equipped with computers, chairs and desks, a health care bed, a hoist as well as First Aid Kit equipment, so that we are able to give practical illustrations during Mandatory Training in Care. We offer our clients the flexibility of training their employees at our training venue or sending our trainers at the venues themselves. Our customers are also able to do our online courses and then they are able to attend our practical training aspects at our centre. This is for courses like People Movers Moving & Handling, Basic First Aid and Medication.

Adam Cresswell - The Lawyer He / Him Before The Lawyer and The Nurse met, Adam was studying law after graduating from the University of Liverpool at the College of Law of England and Wales’s Birmingham campus - then following up with the Bar Vocational Course at the same institution in London. Adam then went to work for the Crown (CPS) in Worcester before returning to civil law within a family firm in Corby, where he was employed as Head of Civil Litigation, and later became a Director and shareholder in the firm. He remained at the firm for over a decade before leaving to establish The Lawyer & the Nurse. Adam has always had a lot to say! His strengths lie in his knowledge of health and social care law and regulations, which is underpinned by his strong advocacy skills. The part of his work that he most enjoys is assisting families with applications before NHS England’s Independent Review Panels, or indeed any tribunal setting where there is an argument to be made out for what is right as opposed to what the Government wants to pay. Never try to call Adam on a Sunday morning as he religiously listens to The Archers omnibus - and despite Ambridge being a fictional village, he insists that he will retire there some day. Adam will also say that he likes to collect antiques, though his children (18 and 21) regard these the same way they do him - 'dusty and tacky'.
