Midhurst Rother College serves a broad community with our students coming from the town of Midhurst, as well as several other local villages. As a member of United Learning we work to bring out the ‘Best In Everyone’ and our aim is to help our students realise their aspirations through providing an excellent standard of education, underpinned by a culture of high expectations and standards in all we do. At Midhurst Rother College we seek to develop all students academically, personally and socially in order that when they have completed a seven-year journey with us, they are fully prepared to take the next step in their lives, be that employment, university, further training or apprenticeship. We do not only promote academic success, but also value the importance of friendship, fun and personal responsibility. We are proud of the enrichment opportunities we give to our students. Every child has the opportunity to be involved in a range of different activities in our extended day. As part of this we develop leadership skills, teamwork and participation – an essential part of being an MRC student. We also work closely with Winchester College, the University of Chichester and other local providers to give our students wider opportunity and access to alternative provision.
