We deliver adult education programmes in our delivery locations in Birmingham and Bristol and London. All our learners are adults (aged 18+), with the highest numbers enrolled on Functional Skills, Business Administration, Digital Enterprise, NCFE Level 3 Diploma in Skills for Business: Human Resources, Adult Health Care programmes and ATHE Level 4 Diploma in Computing. GTA is funded by the Educational and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) to provide advanced learner loans and adult education budget programmes.

South Coast Krav Maga was founded and is run by Level 4 Instructor and certified Personal Trainer Paul Davies. Paul has spent over 20 years boxing and Muay Thai in addition to 15 years grappling experience. He has continued with his Muay Thai, Boxing and Grappling training, regularly preparing fighters for boxing belts and bouts. Regular classes taught by Paul are open to all abilities and fitness levels. Training is recognised by the KMA and gradings are available to those interested. Paul teaches classes as well as one to one and small group sessions across Sussex. South Coast Krav Maga is affiliated with the Krav Maga Alliance (KMA) which was created by John Whitman, a fifth degree black belt in Krav Maga. John is the former president of Krav Maga Worldwide, and earned instructor degrees from the Krav Maga Association of America, Krav Maga Worldwide and the prestigious Wingate University in Israel. EAQ® - Home of Horse-based Learning and Education EAQ® (Equine Assisted Qualifications) sets and monitors quality standards for its equine assisted learning centres and provides training and qualifications for facilitators and others involved with equine assisted learning. There are a number of EAQ Approved Centres in the UK offering interaction with horses for children, young people and adults leading to nationally-recognised qualifications. Training for Facilitators EAQ offers a number of training programmes for facilitators including the Level 4 Certificate in Facilitating Equine Assisted Learning. The Level 4 Certificate is a national qualification which is regulated in the UK by Ofqual. Training is available for facilitators, horse professionals, tutors, assessors and practitioners of equine assisted learning. Courses run throughout the year. You need to take part in an online Introduction Day before enrolling on the facilitator training. Please check the Events page for the next Introduction Day. Training can be a mix of online and face to face sessions. EAQ Approved Centres EAQ Approved Centres have met quality standards including horse handling, the environment and staff qualifications. Their staff have been specially trained to offer equine assisted learning sessions to individuals and groups from all walks of life. Some centres specialise in certain areas, such as working with children and young people who are excluded from shcool.

Hello my name is Angela Laidlaw, based in Currie, South West Edinburgh. I am level 4 Pilates instructor, Pilates exercise therapist, Pregnancy and postpartum corrective exercises specialist and a personal trainer. Also, I a mum of 2 young boys. I have set up Pilates and Exercise Therapies business to help mothers to start/get back/continue exercising safely after giving birth whether it was 2 months, 2 years or 20+ years ago. I would like to raise awareness about exercises which help women to recover postpartum and prevent future complications such as pelvic floor dysfunction, prolapse which can lead to other health issues such as back/hip pain.

I also have extensive experience delivering bespoke training across Scotland in mental health, NHS/Public Health Scotland – Healthy Working Lives, SCQF Mental Health First Aid Level 4, 5 & 6 and challenging behavioural courses that support people working with children and young adults who have Additional Support Needs. I am passionate about being pro-active and making change for the better and recently qualified as a Scottish Government Quality Improvement leader. When I’m not delivering Mental Health training, I volunteer my time as a Learning & Development Co-ordinator for the Children’s Hearing Panel and other third sector organisations.
