We are Oxfordshire’s independent environmental funder. Our Local Environment Fund raises money and allocates grants for local projects that benefit wildlife and promote access to green spaces. We work with developers and landowners to administer Biodiversity Net Gain funds, ensuring that responsible development results in more biodiversity in our county, not less. TOE acts as both fundraiser and grant maker. This makes it easy for a wide range of donors to connect with many of the best local projects in need of financial support.

Jo founded The Environment Coach Ltd in 2018 as a vehicle to bring together a number of techniques in which she had qualified, including Mindfulness, Neurolinguistic Programming, Hypnosis, Time Line Therapy and Reiki. The aim of the business is to support others looking to break free from the stress, anxiety, self doubt and associated coping mechanisms that all too often cause even more problems than the relief they were believed to provide. During 20 years serving in the Royal Air Force and specialising in the Human Resources areas, Jo saw first hand the effects of prolonged exposure to stressful situations. Looking for ways to proactively combat the debilitating effects this could have on individuals and families, she embarked on research into a variety of different practices, each of which claimed to help alleviate the suffering of both individuals and those closest to them. Now, 30 years into that research, and using herself as her own laboratory as well as working with many others, Jo has identified many of the features these systems have in common and the most effective ways to break free from the negativity aspects of the stress cycle.

We do this in a number of ways but all of our support and the training we promote is free of charge to our customers and clients which creates a truly unique recruitment model. We want to work with organisations who wish to recruit new employees and upskill and recognise their employees and key workers through providing accredited qualifications to assist their personal development and future opportunities.
