It has also changed the way we train. Prior to the invention of the internet, the only way to train was to go to a local training centre and sit in a classroom for a couple of days. Now there is a new way to train. From the comfort of your own sofa, from wherever you are in the world. All of our courses still have the personal touch as our trainers will deliver the training in our virtual classroom via Zoom.This is interactive and you can ask as many questions as you want either at the end of the session or during. We are also at the end of the phone or can support you with any extra information via email. We will then book your exam at your local test centre as soon as you feel ready. So many people have found that they much prefer to train this way, as they retain more information. We have an exceptionally high pass rate to prove it! As we do not have the costs of a physical training room it means we can keep the costs down, and save you a lot of money. Why not give it a try and see which method of training you prefer.

I have been part of the school community since 2013 as Deputy Head and 2021 as Headteacher as well as a parent of children at the school. During those years, two things have always stood out about the school: Firstly, the students are wonderful ambassadors for the school and their community. Our Aims To encourage and promote interest and study of the Middle Eastern cultural region from the end of classical antiquity to the present day in particular but not exclusively through the dissemination of information and by the encouragement of co-operation amongst persons concerned with the scholarly study of the region. Statement of Purpose Founded in 1973, BRISMES provides a forum for educators and researchers in Middle East Studies. Membership is open to all regardless of nationality or country of residence. We work to promote interest in Middle East Studies and to raise awareness of the region and how it is connected to other parts of the world, including the UK. Middle East Studies is a diverse field, which encompasses all the humanities and social sciences and reaches from the present back to classical antiquity. The long history of our field of study has made us particularly aware of the connections between knowledge and power. We see connections between research, education, teaching and fundamental questions of social change. We do not believe that research and education should be divorced from the wider social and political context nor that it should exist to serve elites. We believe that a commitment to promote research and education in Middle East Studies involves a duty to consider the conditions under which knowledge is produced and disseminated, and if necessary, to speak out against power structures and interests that prevent the flourishing of research and education in our field.

The start for a great solution may be a five minute conversation but great result require thought, expertise and hard work. There is no short cut to a well resolved outcome. Our mission will always be to eliminate the unnecessary within a design by removing those elements which are redundant. In our pursuit of less, we will always contribute more thought, more experimentation and investigation , more work and reflection to find the essence in each new piece of work. That’s just what we do, and what we like to do. Process Process can’t always be a set structure and each scenario demands a tailored approach. There are a number of place markers that govern our way of doing things. Over 40 years of experiences has developed a process which is as part structure, part instinct and experience. For example our work might starts with a research based initial response, followed by development to agreed criteria and then production of an output and its story.

Your learning will be underpinned by the principles and practices of psychodynamic psychotherapy within the social, political and multicultural context of mental health care and educational settings. Study is informed by contemporary dance practice, Laban Movement Analysis (LMA) and somatic bodywork. Through theoretical studies, movement observation studies, dance practice workshops, clinical work and experiential learning, you integrate cognitive understanding and practical experience with a developing awareness of self and other. The nature of the therapeutic relationship is explored in depth through movement and dance and you have the opportunity to put your learning into practice through at least 90 days of supervised placements. This gives you the opportunity to relate your practical experience to your theoretical studies. You'll be encouraged to develop your own dance/movement practice and to situate your work in relation to your development as a therapist, to contemporary dance and movement practice. You're required to be in personal therapy throughout the programme (please note that this is at your own cost). On graduation you are eligible to become a registered professional member of the Association for Dance Movement Psychotherapy (ADMP UK). The Infant Feeding Team The UNICEF Baby Friendly Initiative works with health care professionals to provide parents with the best support to build close and loving relationships with their baby, and to feed their baby in ways that support optimum health and development. We were re-accredited as a Gold service in January 2020! Return with your baby for extra help. The infant feeding team run antenatal breastfeeding workshops every week and more information can be found under related links. Part of the role of the team is to provide ongoing training and support to the midwives and maternity support staff around infant feeding as well as write and update the guidelines and policies. This means any of the staff are able to answer your questions and you can expect to receive consistent and evidence based support from your community and hospital team throughout your pregnancy and in the early days after having your baby. If your midwife or other health care professional feels you would benefit from more specialist support they will put in a referral to our team. We aim to get in touch as soon as possible during the working week after the referral has been received. There are baby friendly champions in every ward area and community team within maternity. They are staff who attend regular updates and disseminate key information to the people they work with to ensure you receive the most up to date information on infant feeding. During pregnancy
