Lancaster Royal Grammar School is a top day and boarding grammar school. There are 1250 pupils at the school, including 165 boarders and a thriving sixth form of 350 students. We challenge the brightest pupils in the North West of England, along with boarders from further afield, to fulfil their potential. Our Sixth Form is coeducational, and we welcomed Sixth Form girls as boarders from September 2020. The values central to Lancaster Royal Grammar School are those of academic and extra-curricular excellence and opportunity, within a diverse and tolerant community; these form the the best possible foundation for future life. Our pupils achieve outstanding exam results (63% A*/A grades at A-level in 2022, and 41% 9/8 grades at GCSE in 2022) and we have a national reputation for sporting excellence. The School was endowed in 1472 and is one of the oldest state funded schools in the country. Originally situated close to the Priory Church and Lancaster Castle, the LRGS moved to its present site in 1851 when Queen Victoria granted the Royal title. LRGS has a long tradition of providing excellent opportunities for pupils to excel academically as well as a national reputation for sporting and extra-curricular achievement. Our work is vital in every city, town, community and home. RLSS UK has a proud history of helping to save the number of lives lost to drowning. Our mission is to be the leader in lifesaving and lifeguarding in the UK and Republic of Ireland. Sharing, our expertise and knowledge with as many people as possible, giving everyone the potential to save lives and enjoy water, safely. Here, at the RLSS UK, we have an impressive heritage. We have built up years of experience and, we are honoured, to boast a strong force of loyal members and volunteers who work with us to promote water safety and educate in life saving skills. Our roots were established back in 1891 as the Life Saving Society, and, in the early 1900s, with support from the Royal Family, we were granted permission to adopt the ‘Royal’ to our title – a badge that we are still immensely proud of today. We have used our extensive, world-leading knowledge of water safety and training to develop a comprehensive range of vocational qualifications and a series of awards and education programmes which all have the ultimate aim of preventing drowning and stopping unnecessary loss of life. Our portfolio includes the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) - the premier lifeguard training programme.

Our team shares a passion for everything positive in sport. 2econd Chance C.I.C. is a computer recycling not-for-profit committed to reducing e-Waste and a training provider for people furthest away from the job market. Alongside providing professional computer recycling services, including free computer collection and secure data destruction, we also deliver free accredited training programmes for people not in employment, education or training. What we do Working under supervision and as part of a team, our trainees learn how to refurbish donated machines which are then sold at affordable prices, to fund the program. As an organisation we are committed to bridging the digital divide in our area so a percentage of our refurbished computers are donated through our community partners to ensure they reach people in need. Why support us By donating your unwanted machines, not only will you be stopping them from going to landfill but you will be providing meaningful training and employment opportunities for people with learning difficulties and SEMH (social, emotional, and mental health) needs. What we need Working desktops, laptops and tablets up to 8 years old. We don’t collect WEEE waste as everything is reusable. If “WEEE” is to be re-used, then it never becomes a waste and can be classified as used electrical and electronic equipment (UEEE). Therefore, UK waste laws do not apply. Secure Data Destruction Data destruction takes place at our secured London premises. We issue certification giving you complete peace of mind that your data has been irretrievably erased.

The Diocese of Bristol is the Church of England across Bristol, South Gloucester, North Wiltshire and Swindon. There are 30,000 people worshipping regularly in more than 200 churches, led by hundreds of clergy serving within seven deaneries. Around 15,000 children and young people attend our 72 church schools, while chaplains serve in institutions across our region. Our bishops lead and oversee the Church in the Diocese of Bristol. Rt Revd Vivienne Faull is the 56th Bishop of Bristol and was consecrated Bishop at a service at St Pauls Cathedral in July 2018. She was installed as the 56th Bishop of Bristol at Bristol Cathedral on 20 October 2018 and introduced as a Lord Spiritual at the House of Lords on 23 October. Rt Revd Dr Lee Rayfield, the Bishop of Swindon, supports the role of the Diocesan Bishop. He works across the diocese alongside his community leadership role in Swindon. We are shaping a new vision and set of priorities for the coming years in a 12-month process called Transforming Church. Together. We want to understand what we do well, what we can change for the better and how to create a positive way forward together. Between February and April 2021 we will be talking and listening to lots of different people, from both inside and outside the church. As part of the Church of England, we are participating in the Renewal and Reform Programme in a variety of ways.

We are located on the high street in the idyllic village of Chobham, Surrey. Our shop is inside a beautiful 16th century building with the most amazing baker’s ovens at the back! Yes we have ovens at the back of our shop not working I don’t think... anyways their listed part of the building and beautifully untouchable. Being built in the 16th century our shop has very low ceilings (be sure to duck) and many different parts to it, the shop goes back very far giving us a lot of working space and you a lot of browsing space. There has been a flower shop located on Chobham High Street for over 15 years it has been in the hands of what I believe to be 3 different florists, I (Lizzie) purchased Chobham Flowers in October 2019 and am so very grateful to have become a part of the most supportive and kind community that Chobham is. We are a beautiful fun loving group of florists, who love to chat away in the shop making beautiful bouquets for our wonderful customers sending them out all over surrey to be delivered to big smiley faces. Our styles are all unique but we all have one thing in common FLOWERS! Lots of beautiful flowers in all shapes, sizes, colours and forms. With years of floral experience we love creating anything and everything we get our hands on so don’t be shy with your creative ideas.
