Who is n-ergy? n-ergy is an independent specialist training provider whose story began in 2007 when n-ergy was set up by award-winning entrepreneur, Donna Turner-Kot, to work with offenders and ex-offenders throughout the UK. n-ergy’s head office is based in Bridgend, South Wales and operates across England and Wales. What do we do? n-ergy is a passionate advocate of supporting hard-to-reach individuals develop new skills and gain nationally recognised qualifications prior to release. n-ergy provides a seamless service by delivering vocational training, short courses and employability programmes to those in custody; followed by employment support so they may secure sustainable work on release, successfully re-integrate into their local communities and make a fresh start! Who works for n-ergy? n-ergy currently employs 20+ people across Wales and England. All of n-ergy’s Training Advisors deliver vocational training within a number of prison establishments located in North and South Wales and the following regions in England: South Central, Midlands and the North West. n-ergy’s business support functions are based at its Head Office in South Wales. As an advocate of supporting ex-offenders into sustainable employment on release, n-ergy has employed a number of individuals on ROTL and ex-offenders on release within its business within its business support functions.

Kay Carter Studio is a dedicated homeware design studio based on the North East Coast of England and was established in 2020 by myself, Kay. We handcraft high quality, functioning accessories for your home and work space. All of our homewares are made entirely by hand, producing one of a kind pieces every time. Made with a natural gypsum mineral and a water based compound, our products are sustainable, durable and a lightweight alternative to other casting materials like concrete or fibre glass. We produce a wide range of homewares in eye catching and colourful terrazzo and marbled designs. Specialising in colour customisation, we give you the opportunity to create unique items for your space or special gifts for loved ones. We also design and develop branded and bespoke products for our wholesale customers and collaborative partners. With a love for all things gold, you will find this common feature throughout. Our Mission To enable a digital economy supported by a more reliable, efficient, and environmentally sustainable digital infrastructure. Our Story In 2003, as applications started increasing in complexity and size, the team initially addressed challenges in Software Architecture reliability and efficiency, setting some of the earlier groundwork around Architecture design languages and software product lines. The focus then quickly shifted to a more holistic approach from the ground up addressing the reliability, efficiency, and environmental sustainability of digital services, from data centres to IT Operations and application design. This led to the establishment of the London Technology Academy (LTA) in 2013. The team laid out some key scientific work around cost-effective deployments in the Cloud and environmental sustainability challenges in software and physical infrastructure. Today, LTA is home to some of the key international authorities in digital infrastructure. The LTA team supported the creation of some of the best practices and global standards and policies on digital infrastructure (e.g EN50600, EU Code of Conduct, EMAS, EcoDesign and EU Green Public Procurement to name a few). The team supports governments and corporates globally to transform their digital footprint to a more reliable, efficient and environmentally sustainable state. The LTA team led European initiatives like EURECA and PEDCA that saw broad transformation and consolidation of government infrastructure and the training of well over a thousand ICT professionals.
