Born in Manchester, Hannah was educated at Altrincham Grammar School for Girls before reading Biological Sciences at New College, Oxford University. In addition to teaching, Hannah has worked as a Researcher for Oxford University and Reform think tank. She is Director of the Home Schooling Association and continues to teach Science at Key Stage 4 and 5. She speaks regularly at education events and provides written commentary for national media including the BBC, The Times, Telegraph and The Guardian. HEAD OF OPERATIONS LYDIA TITLEY Lydia is originally from Manchester and completed her secondary education at Altrincham Grammar School for Girls. Following this, her interest in French language and culture led her to the University of Bath, where she completed a BSc in International Business Management and French. Lydia took the opportunity to spend a year in Paris where she attended the prestigious business school of ESCP Paris, studying a bilingual Master’s in Management, and worked as a European Account Manager at an international Marketing and Publishing firm. Vicki is a qualified teacher with over 20 years’ experience in schools, colleges and universities. She worked as a secondary school teacher for a number of years before working with students with additional needs. After several years running programmes for young people and adults in the FE sector, Vicki undertook a Masters in Education, specialising in Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLDs), along with additional training to assess for dyslexia. She is also a qualified SENCO and worked for several years as an Advisory Teacher for the local authority. Vicki currently works part-time in a HE setting assessing and tutoring individuals with specific learning difficulties. Each year she assesses over 80 students for Disabled Students Allowance and continues to offer advice and assessments to a number of local schools. Vicki is the current Chair of the Dorset PATOSS group. Vicki lives in Swanage and relaxes by walking in the Purbeck hills with her dog Poppy, pottering in her tiny garden and acting as roadie to her musical teenage sons. Born in the East End of London Valerie Masters was passionate about singing and entertaining even from the tiny age of 4 years old when people would ask her grandfather to hold her up to the microphone and sing. Her career started when she left school at 16 to join a well known Jazz Group, the Ray Ellington Quartet. She was auditioned by Dick Katz, the great pianist with the Group and who was awarded the title of Jazz Musician of the year in the 1960s and to whom Valerie later married. Valerie travelled with the quartet until she ventured on a solo career internationally . She had her own radio show on Radio Luxembourg, the Valerie Masters Show. She was voted Top Girl of the North East when she had the series "The One o'Clock Show" and the series "Young At Heart" with Jimmy Saville, starred in countless TV Shows and series and Sunday at Winchester with Jess Yates, and appeared at the London Paladium on several occasions. End point assessments are the final tests given to an apprentice during their apprenticeship. The goal of this activity is to offer an impartial, objective review of individual skills, knowledge, and behaviours. Although the activities are different for each apprenticeship, end-point assessments follow the same general structures. The end-point assessment is performed after a minimum of 12 months after the start of the apprenticeship. It must be successfully completed before the issuance of an apprenticeship completion certificate. Every training provider delivering on Apprenticeship standards must have an agreement with an End Point Assessment Organisation (EPAO). Assessment Organisations must be registered on the Government approved register (RoEPAO). I became the founder of A space 2 Be in October 2018, over the last 28 years I have been extending my qualifications and experience to offer both adult and children's Counselling. I have had counselling myself, this was a time of self-development that set me on a path, I left school and became a health practitioner, working in an institution and completing a college course in Health and Social Care. After becoming a mum of three children I took on the challenge of managing a well-being centre called the Isbourne in Cheltenham town centre, it was there that I realised how beneficial therapies are for supporting both physical health and mental health. I completed the mental health first aid certificates and began my counselling training. I have supported hidden victims of crime with a charity, Infobuzz. This role introduced me to working in a crisis support team, supporting families in the community and working within the criminal justice system and running creative art workshops in prison. I volunteered with Young Gloucestershire supporting their counselling service and this allowed me to extend my experience to working with young adults who were struggling with life's challenges. My adventures have continued into gaining certificates in 'Stress Less Mindfulness' and running adult sound retreats. I have naturally entwined mindfulness into my personal and professional life and have found the benefits have been endless. I have been able to share these skills with all of my clients as a mindful mindset works for anyone, anywhere and at any age! When I am not with someone in a 1-1 Counselling session, you will find me delivering training to professionals or facilitating sound baths and retreats. Aims The aim of MAITS is to improve the lives of some of the world’s most vulnerable individuals living with disabilities by helping them to reach their full potential, be healthy and have an improved sense of well-being, through access to family support, quality healthcare and education. We do this through a team of trainers from all over the world, who are experienced professionals, and who give their time to provide capacity building, training and resources to those caring for and providing health and education services to individuals with disabilities in community or institutional settings. Our team We do this through a very small staff team, training consultants and a team of qualified volunteers from all over the world, who are experienced healthcare and education professionals. Our volunteers provide training and support to those caring for and providing health and education services to individuals with disabilities in community or institutional settings. We also have a small grants programme which enables training to take place in any location where there is a need globally. The aim is to enable individuals to reach their full potential, with improved health, well-being and quality of life through access to family support, quality healthcare and education. Overview We work with and help some of the most marginalised people globally –those with disabilities living in some of the poorest countries in the world. There are 150 million children living with a disability and of these the majority live in developing countries. Since 2011, we have provided training to 4675 staff working in the disability sector in 21 countries and helped over 600,000 individuals living with disabilities. The people we have trained include therapists, nurses, special educators, staff working in children’s homes and community health workers. Part of our work involves providing training at the grass roots level, to community health workers and care staff, on conditions such as cerebral palsy, autism and learning disabilities to enable early identification, referral to specialists where possible and the provision of home support to promote development and independence, using training packages and tools we have developed specifically. Some of our training can be life-saving, especially in the case of infants and children with feeding difficulties, which often leads to malnutrition, severe respiratory problems and early mortality. With the right training, these consequences can be dramatically reduced, improving the child’s quality of life and their life expectancy. MAITS’ specialists have developed and delivered training and resources for healthcare staff to address this issue, both in children and infants, the latter at the request of medical colleagues working on measures to prevent infant mortality. Guidelines for your practice given the current COVID-19 pademic There are a few things that we now have to do... You MUST book your space online as class numbers are limited. If you or anyone you have been in contact with has or thinks they may have COVID-19 please do not attend the session. Bring your own mat, equipment, blanket, and water to the session. Scan the QR Code fo the NHS Track and Trace App if you are using it. We must always keep 2 metres between us and place our mats to allow this. I will have some cones to mark out mat placement. I will not be adjusting you hands on during practice or providing the hands on settling during relaxation. Please be kind to your fellow yogis – we are all coping in different ways and some of us are more apprehensive than others. General Information about the classes. All classes are designed to be suitable, safe and enjoyable for beginner and intermediate Yogis. Adults of all ages are welcome. Please let me know if you have existing conditions by email or telephone prior to the class. For the 90 and 75 minute class - Class format is generally a gentle warm up followed by a flow of postures to increase body temperature and then a range of poses to build strength and increase flexibility. We then move to gentle stretches and twists to cool down. The end of the class usually consists of a breathing practice to calm the body and mind with a final section of relaxation to close the session. For the Beginners class - Class format is similar in order but focuses on the foundation poses with extra time taken to ensure correct allignment and movement into and out of postures. For the Gentle Yoga class - Class format is similar in order but at much less intense level. The class is aimed at those with limited flexibility or reduced strength who want to gradually build and improve both areas. For all classes each person is encouraged to focus on their own practice and to do only as much as feels right for them. We are all different so a posture that one person finds easy another might find more difficult. Yoga is an excellent way to improve your own strength and flexibility against your own starting point - wherever that may be. I use a combination of demonstration, verbal guidance and adjustment. Each posture will be taught with options to practice the next stage or level if the Yogi wishes Every week will have a different focus; some postures will be familiar every week others will be introduced to keep the class interesting and fresh. For the Beginner... It is best to wear comfortable clothing such as leggings or jogging bottoms and a T shirt. Socks, a warm fleece or jumper, maybe even a blanket are useful for relaxation at the end of the class in cooler weather. Some water to sip on is a good idea in hot weather. Please bring your own yoga mat.

Welcome to Magnum Driver Training. We are based in Bonnyrigg and offer a wide range of Learner, Advanced and Fleet driving courses in Edinburgh, Midlothian, East Lothian, Central Scotland and the Scottish Borders. Magnum Driver Training was founded by two former Traffic Police officers and the aim of Dave Irvine and John Hunter was to teach and promote safer driver training. Another retired officer Jim Brunton joined the company and is heading up the learner side of the business. They are Scottish Police College Advanced Driving Certificates holders, members of the Institute of Advanced Motorists, fully qualified DSA Approved Driving Instructors and Pass Plus registered instructors. Dave is an examiners and fleet trainer with the IAM (Formally the Institute of Advanced Motorists, now IAM RoadSmart). He also holds the RoSPA Gold Diploma in Advanced Instruction and is an examiner for RoSPA. Dave also holds an IAM RoadSmart Masters Certificate in Advanced Driving with distinction and an Institute of the Motor Industry Examiners qualification.
