Approximately 1 billion students around the world are currently learning the English language. These students include adults hoping to further their careers and to travel the world with ease, teenagers hoping to go overseas to continue their studies, and young learners hoping to pass school exams. As a result of this, English language teachers are in high demand, with vacancies around the world for a range of different class types. A TESOL/TEFL certificate is an essential qualification required by most schools when hiring English language (ESL) teachers. Through this qualification course, you’ll learn the foundational skills needed to become an English language teacher. This includes an essential understanding of how the English language is structured, along with a range of classroom management skills and language teaching techniques. By the end of the course you’ll earn your TESOL/TEFL qualification and gain a set of skills that can be used to teach English overseas and online. “I’m pretty cautious with my money but I’m very pleased that I took the course and have already found a new job teaching ESL in Japan.” Ary Aguiló “I really enjoyed earning my certificate. The course starts off quite tough but I learned a lot and now I can’t wait to start teaching English.” Rania Jazizi “World TESOL Academy is an academy for busy individuals such as me – you can earn your certificate at your own pace so there’s no need to worry about time.” Erick Licaros “I want to say a huge thank you to tutor Michelle for all of your help! I’m so happy to have finished and have my TESOL certificate.

Justmaths

Redditch

We’ve been around now since 2012. Thanks to all of you that have used and recommended our resources – we really appreciate it! JustMaths was born from the passion and spirit of three full-time teachers who have a genuine belief in the power of collaboration and sharing ideas and best practice. We originally wanted to create a set of resources based around key topics – the main thing we have learnt over the years is that students need a highly focused, carefully targeted support package, giving them 200 video clips just doesn’t work! JustMaths Online was originally based around “The Top 40”, but it exploded (to support the 9-1 GCSE) into “The Big Fat 50”, and then “The Super 60”. In the 12 months leading to the first few sittings of the 9-1 GCSE, being so unsure of the tier of entry for our 3/4/5 students, (we still are now for some students!) we focused on the ‘Crossover’ topics from the DFE programme of study and the exam boards material. Covering the key topics that overlap the foundation and higher tiers is what really helped us deliver a stunning set of GCSE results in 2017, 2018 and 2019. The JustMaths Crossover package is almost expanding on a daily basis, with Seager’s voice and Mel’s resources becoming central to supporting fellow maths teachers across the country. Theatre Skills Academy

Orpington

"When I was 13 I relocated from Leeds to London to take up a full time scholarship place at the prestigious Sylvia Young Theatre School, I received some of the best training and opportunities a young girl could wish for. After finishing school I was fortunate enough to be chosen for another full time scholarship place at Millennium Dance 2000 College for 3 years performing arts training. Even with all this incredible training I still look back fondly at the small performing arts school I attended one night a week in Leeds : Scala Kids. I owe a lot of my skills to the training I received there and would look forward to going to my classes every week without the pressure of taking exams or doing competitions. I was made to feel like part of the "Scala" family and felt free to be creative and express my talents. This is how I want the Theatre Skills Academy to be- a place where kids can come to be creative, build confidence, feel equal, learn new skills, improve their talents, and have FUN. I look forward to welcoming you all into the TSA family." Sheney Delaney. All the teachers at TSA have vast experience as both a professional performer and teacher and have a lot of knowledge to offer the children. Every lesson will work on different theatrical skills, whether it be building confidence, improving co-ordination, developing facial expressions, or performance technique. The classes run during term times, with holiday courses on offer in all the main school breaks. Each term will finish with a presentation for family and friends to come and see how their budding little performers have developed. Members also have the option to join TSA Children's Agency with the opportunity to attend professional castings for shows, film, TV and radio.

Welcome to our Outstanding Chinese Academic School It is our pleasure to welcome new and returning students to Hua Hsia in 2022. We hope you have all had a lovely summer! As always during these summer months, we take a step back to unwind and relax while awaiting the GCSE and Pre-U results of our students who have worked tirelessly to secure themselves top grades. The good news arrived earlier this week and we are delighted to announce this year’s cohort achieved outstanding GCSE and Pre-U results! Our GCSE group, made up of 10 students (7 in class and 3 private), achieved nine 9 grades (highest possible grade, akin to an A*) and one 8 grade. This keeps us in line with our 100% grade 8-9 track record and even gives us a 90% grade 9 achievement rate. Our Pre U group, made up of 3 students (all in class), achieved 2 Distinctions and 1 Merit. These brilliant outcomes are well deserved and are a testament to both the talent and dedication of pupils and staff, and to the quality of education maintained throughout the last two-and-a-half years even with all the speed bumps along the way. A very special thanks to Teachers Katja, Nicole, and Joseph for supporting students to unlock their full potential. The return of public exams has given the students the opportunity to clearly demonstrate the fruits of their continued hard work and focus during the challenges of the pandemic, especially in a period where nationally pupils were being warned of lower grades. Thankfully, things here have since rebounded as strongly as ever, with these pupils, and the School as a whole, able to look forward with optimism to what comes next. We look forward to seeing you all on the 10th and 11th of September, as we reopen our doors for another academic year.
