Convert van into a campervan course
Transform the inner metal from a car wheel, washing machine, tumble drier or even an old gas canister into a completely unique fire pit or barbecue. Your experience host will first show you how to safely work with a variety of hand and power tools, including angle grinders, which you’ll use to make your garden creation. Scott will guide you through the process of creating your upcycled piece, sharing his many years of experience upcycling from all sorts of recycled materials. At the end of the day you'll leave with your own custom fire pit or barbecue, along with the skills to make more upcycled metal creations at home. Facilities Toilets WiFi Refreshments available Parking COVID-19 guidelines Everyone will need to confirm fitness each day. Everyone will have their temperature taken at the beginning of each day. Hand washing will be compulsory at set times during the courses. Face masks will be compulsory during the specific parts of the course where you will be breathing heavily due to exertion. The remainder of the course we will have face shields available as an option to facemasks. Face shields will be provided. But please bring your own face mask. On the day You don't need any previous woodwork experience, just some enthusiasm! Please wear old clothes (or something that you don’t mind getting damaged or torn) and sensible, closed toe footwear. Work boots are recommended. Tea and coffee will be available throughout the day, but please bring along your own packed lunch. If employees are involved in a crisis, and cannot speak for themselves, it is an essential responsibility of any organisation to be prepared to speak with families on their behalf. The Family Liaison in a Crisis training will provide practical skills for engaging with family members of staff during and after a crisis. The goal of this training is to equip each participant with the knowledge of common reactions to crisis events, creating a structure for conversations with family members, and implementing the family liaison role when a critical incident occurs. The training also includes aspects of self care as effective boundaries are an essential part of the family liaison role. This training can be either delivered face to face or as an interactive online course, with breakout rooms for participating in role plays and frequent discussions on working with families in multicultural teams. EMM-Tech Short Course. This is a short introductory course created by Ross Emmett so that everyone would have the opportunity to use some of his work to help themselves, friends and family. It is primarily designed for non-professionals, however, it is also an ideal low cost introduction for trained therapists to see what EMMETT is all about. The course contains 11 moves which have been specially selected from the EMMETT Technique Practitioner Course. The course is conducted over 8 hours and may be offered as a one 8-hour day or two 4-hour sessions which are usually from one day to two weeks apart. No prior experience is necessary to attend a course. It can be attended by anyone over 16 years old.
SARs Investigations: Practice like a Professional Designed to either complement Managing SARS Investigations Best Practice Guide or as standalone learning, this unique course will put you in the centre of an investigative scenario, providing you with direct practical experience. You will have the opportunity to explore the key elements of investigating an internal report or alert and to use the skills and techniques required including analysis, decision making and articulating suspicions. Fundamentals- demonstrate a solid understanding of SARs and be able to describe the internal investigations that can lead to the filing of a report. Identify- the circumstances that led to the filing of an internal SAR in the scenario. Confidence- conduct an effective and robust investigation into reported suspicious activity, applying judgement and critically assessing the information available in order to make the correct decisions.
