Belfast
I grew up on a farm in county Sligo. I have always been creative. As a child, I
would retreat into other worlds of my imagination. My parents called me ‘Einin’
as a child, an Irish term meaning ‘little bird’. Eanna (Enda in Irish) means
birdlike. The names of my bags are taken from mountain ranges in Ireland, north
and south. I love the colours of autumn and the colour palette for my veg tan
satchels is inspired by falling autumn leaves. The bags have the look of old
school satchels, I want to create a feeling of romantic nostalgia. I want them
to last and stand the tests of time. I love the idea that people would use them
for walking through rugged landscapes, and they would be passed down through
generations.
