Thrown was established in March 2018 in response to the current uprising of ceramics within contemporary art. Fascinated by this age of alternative mediums, the gallery seeks out distinctive contemporary art in its many forms with a particular focus on the creativity currently turning to clay. The gallery represents internationally acclaimed names alongside emerging talent, providing a much-needed platform for makers finding their identity as artists. Originally launched in a gallery space in Highgate, North London, in 2021 the gallery moved out of this fixed physical space to focus on online & pop-up exhibitions - Join our mailing list to be kept updated on all future plans. The gallery was set up by gallery director Claire Pearce who has been working in galleries since graduating from a degree in Architecture in 2010. Five years spent in St Ives, Cornwall, first introduced her to ceramics as an art form, which has been a passion ever since.

The Street Soccer Academy is a newly formed project recruiting the best talent from in and around London after the Nike academy collapse. The Street Soccer Academy host trials through application, where the successful candidates will be invited to an evaluation on technical, tactical, physical and mental abilities. Only a successful players from the trialist will be chosen to form the Street Soccer Academy Team who will go on to play academy and pre-academy sides, numerous showcase matches through out the season against foreign and British professional and ex professional players overseen by domestic British and foreign clubs. These players will be required to train together with showcase matches up to 2 times a month, to attend branded events and tournaments with opportunities of sponsorship and professional/semi-professional opportunities . The final Street Soccer Academy team will undergo frequent filmed game analysis where individual performances will be tracked for improvements and adjustments, as well as footage edited to contribute towards a players CV for an invite into future clubs. Players will also be documented to track progress and give a behind the scenes look into sports science, fitness methodology, individual coaching, talent ID and mental training on the path to a professional career. The Trial Alongside performance on the day we have an Academy lounge set up for football specific guest speakers, workshops and presentations with the professional advice corner on nutrition. Players will be required to undergo fitness test, technical ability challenges as well as physical and mental evaluations before undergoing numerous small sided games. (These small sided games will be recorded with game footage sent back to individuals upon request.) Players can also join being out of contract or contracted (In a team or out of a team), the academy is a great shop window for non-professional players to showcase their talent through our set up. Unsuccessful trialist who show strong potential will be invited to our advanced training centres and be at times asked to train alongside the first team as replacements for subsequent injuries or absentees with the possibility of making it into the squad full time. Created to discover, develop and deliver talented footballers to the exposure of professional, semi-professional and foreign clubs. We deliver sessions for U6-U14, however U16-U23 being the Street Soccer Skills Academy First Team. The successful selection of the Street Soccer Academy First Team & youth squad will not only have regular team training, but tailored training provided by sports scientist, specialist 1-1 coaches as well as strength and conditioning leaders to help fulfill the teams and individual potential to have the best chance of being recruited. Players looking to join our programme must attend the trial or request to attend our advance training through application. We are a UK Film & TV Agency specialising in “on the move” filming. This ranges from a routes library of film-friendly driving routes, consultancy services, training and a talent agency service. For each route through our library, we offer 4K dash cam footage (front & rear footage in day and night views), a digital map and supporting documents for the locations team on the day. We are innovating the way in which we scout for “on the move” locations. We hope to also increase the training offered & level of knowledge in this area among film crew Oliver Laurenson-Gore – Location Manager & Scout set up Location Routes in early 2022 after his experience of working on PIRATES (BFI/BBC Films) back in 2019 & 2020. This roadtrip from North to Central London involving a car being the central aspect of the film. made him understand the challenges of “filming on the move”. He often found from his own experience that it was challenging to show Directors and other creatives involved suitable roads without recording the route. There was also a number of times in his career that he had to change the route last minute which has caused additional stress and wasted shooting time. Why offer this service and is it needed? Think of how many Film & TV shows that have any form of vehicles driving or stunt scenes on roads…it’s most shows! Roads are getting more difficult to find with more lane reduction programmes and cycle lanes in cities and towns across the UK. The Rose Arts London was always a childhood dream of mine and it was manifested through a pain in my life, with the loss of my Grandad; Charles Alexander Gardner. He, alongside my Mother and Nan, supported me with my dance and drama training, performance career and attended all classes, auditions and performances. When he passed away, it pushed me to embrace my artistry and passions. The Rose represents three things: A dedication to my Grandad; His favourite flower A name influence; My middle name Rosetta and my mother Rosemarie The flourish of each child who trains with us. As a seed they begin but as ‘The Rose’ they grow. Experience My training began at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts and have been training in every discipline, since the age of 3 and teaching dance and drama since the age of 14. Ballet, Tap, Modern, Contemporary, Lyrical, Liturgical, Street Dance, Jazz, Commercial and Musical Theatre. Further to this, I attended college studied Performing Arts, obtaining distinctions in the art form, allowing me to receive an unconditional offer to University, where I obtained my degree in Dance Practice and Performance. I have had an extensive career in the arts, through stage, film and television and have received such amazing opportunities I am truly grateful for. About T.R.A.L. T.R.A.L. is a place for all Rose Students to discover, train, explore, create, challenge and motivate what they learn here and to ignite their passion, of why dance, drama, sport and song is such an amazing artistic outlet, which not only teaches creativity and utilises talent but also discipline. The role of the arts builds character and self-esteem and at The Rose Arts London, one of the assets that I hold as an important part, is the family friendly atmosphere.This delivers a guarantee from us, that our space is a positive and productive learning environment, where our students can grow, most importantly learn, and create in an energetic, confident building atmosphere. Students are able to discover more about themselves artistically, gain new friends and be proud to be a part of The Rose Arts. Myself and our teachers, who have work(ed) within the industry, aim to continually make The Rose Arts London a success, with the passion we hold and with which, our goal is to impart our experiences, knowledge and love of the arts to our students.
