Muir Gray is the Founding Director of OAP Ltd, with the following business streams: OVSP, CASP, & Living Longer Better. He has advised Public Health England and the Chair of the NHS Health and Social Care Digital service. Muir’s work focuses on providing training to healthcare professionals on value based healthcare. Sir Muir has worked for the National Health Service in England since 1972, occupying a variety of senior positions during that time, including serving as the Director of Research and Development for Anglia and Oxford Regional Health Authority, and first establishing and then being the Director of the UK National Screening Committee. He founded the National Library for Health, and was the Director of Clinical Knowledge, Process, and Safety for the NHS (England) National Programme for IT, serving as the Director of the National Knowledge Service. He was the first person to hold the post of Chief Knowledge Officer of the NHS (England), also serving as the co-Director of the Department of Health’s Quality Innovation Productivity and Prevention (QIPP) Right Care Programme. Together with Sir Iain Chalmers, Muir was instrumental in establishing the Cochrane Collaboration. Sir Muir is an internationally renowned authority on healthcare systems and has advised governments of several countries outside the UK including Australia, New Zealand, Italy, Spain and Germany and regularly delivers plenary sessions at international events, the most recent being the 2014 World Health Summit in Berlin, the Big Data in Pharma conference in London in 2015 and the 2015 Transplantation meeting at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm. Sir Muir is also a Professor in the Nuffield Department of Surgery at the University of Oxford. He received the CBE in 2000 and was knighted in 2005 for services to the National Health Service.

Situated in the heart of the community of Driffield, we are a unique and special place to learn. ‘Learning for Life’ is the foundation of all we do at Kings Mill and underpins our whole curriculum from Early Years through to Sixth form. The school caters for pupils aged 2-19 years. We are on two sites. The main school site houses Early Years through to Key Stage 4. The school was completed in May 2017 and has been purpose built to meet the needs of our pupils. Alongside eleven new classrooms we also have a new hydrotherapy pool, rebound room, sensory therapy room and sensory rooms. Students aged 16-19 are based at The Kings Mill Student Centre which is based at Driffield Secondary School approximately a mile away from the main site. This comprises three classrooms and a combined common room and food technology area. There is also opportunity for joint working with Driffield School. Our sixth form students also visit main site to access the facilities as required. All our pupils and students have complex needs and we offer specialist provision for pupils on the autistic spectrum and pupils with multi-sensory needs. Our curriculum principles and ethos are supported by a wide range of activities which happen on and off site. Sport plays a very important role in the life of the school and we believe in encouraging healthy competition and leadership skills. Brìgh (pronounced bree) is Scottish Gaelic and has several meanings including strength, essence, substance, energy, significance, moment, point and sense, all of which are so appropriate for the practise of Pilates. The fully equipped studio is a calm and inviting space where everyone is made to feel welcome and offers dedicated, specialised Pilates tuition from experienced qualified teachers. You can choose from a timetable of matwork classes and with small class sizes there’s plenty of personal attention. All classes are friendly, fun and non-competitive for beginners through to advanced. Traditional open studio sessions are also offered for all levels of experience where you work to your own individual programme using the large studio apparatus, a system similar to how Joseph Pilates ran his studio. Private 1-1 tuition is available if you require more time and attention perhaps following injury and rehabilitation, or if you have specific athletic targets. Pregnancy and postnatal sessions are also available. About Karen Karen is an Accredited Member of The Pilates Foundation which runs the most extensive and rigorous teacher training programmes in the UK, qualifying both as a matwork and apparatus (comprehensive) teacher with the Foundation. Karen also qualified from the Lolita's Legacy comprehensive teacher training programme and as such is a 3rd generation Pilates teacher. Lolita's Legacy is the teacher training programme of Lolita San Miguel, a 1st generation Pilates teacher and one of the Pilates 'Elders' who trained with Joseph Pilates. Karen also holds a specialist certification in pre-natal and post-natal Pilates and is a member of the Guild of Pregnancy and Postnatal Exercise Instructors. Complimentary to this is the Adore Your Floor specialist pelvic floor coach training which Karen completed in 2019.

Covid -19 response Please note that due to COVID-19, our consultants have taken the difficult decision to suspend all face-to-face group and individual activities and services in response to Covid-19. This is to protect the most vulnerable members of the community and safeguard the health and wellbeing of everyone. We are starting face to face sessions in small groups and one to one for the most vulnerable young people. Our team have put in place alternative services where possible, e.g. telephone appointments, zoom sessions in Romanes and English. We are still doing outreach and provide educational activities to the most disadvantaged and vulnerable young people . ABOUT US The St. Neots English Centre is a language school that specialises in UK School Integration and Study Holiday Courses for groups of young learners aged 11 to 17 from across the world. The school is situated in the historic Cambridgeshire Market Town of St. Neots, located close to the famous University City of Cambridge. Our Study Holiday courses last between 1 and 4 weeks and can be tailored to meet your requirements.
