After realizing how important it is to make this change in students, at an early age, our founder Kazi Ahmed decided to put all his experience, teaching and energy in creating a platform for students to realize their full potential in Mathematics. Theater for Portland FamiliesPlan Your Visit Venue, Directions & Parking NWCT is located at 1819 NW Everett Street, Portland, Oregon, in the historic Northwest Neighborhood Cultural Center in the vibrant Nob Hill neighborhood. Numerous rooms are used as classrooms, performance venues, meeting and event spaces, as well as several administrative offices. Off-street parking and a paid surface lot are available nearby. Limited free parking is available in the NWCT lot located directly behind the theater on NW Flanders. On-street parking is available in the surrounding neighborhood. Please note: Parking in Northwest Portland can require patience and planning. NWCT recommends all patrons plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before curtain time. These I blend in order to offer sound nutritional knowledge and motivation to push forward with healthy living and being. I offer a variety of nutrition based services including 1-1 consultations, Functional Medicine testing, health workshops, 'Cleanse' courses, lectures, menu creation, product reviews and articles on nutrition, food and lifestyle. I also work as a 1-1 nutritionist for the wonderful company’ Health Path’. There is a common aim - to inspire better mental and physical health in whatever way this is best achieved. Located in West Sussex, I work in London, Brighton and surrounding areas. My days are spent nourishing, advising, educating and supporting clients on obtaining healthier and happier lifestyles. Annually, I take clients abroad to ‘cleanse’ body and soul. One of my cleanse locations is Gozo, a rustic island off Malta. This is the perfect location for taking time out in a supported and empowering environment. In 2022, I worked with the Wild View Retreat team in Portugal on a juice fast week of health rejuvenation. It was wonderful. I am thrilled to be joining them again for 4 weeks of cleansing in 2023.

Singing and Teaching Singing Training for Performers and TeachersAbout this year’s courses We have launched a brand-new digital format for our courses this year which includes a core component workshop every month, followed by a practice group session that is designed to practically reinforce the theory learnt in the component workshop. We hope this will give you time to explore the theory behind our teaching model and to experience all its practical elements so that you can integrate these skills into your own singing and teaching more easily. By splitting the teaching model down into its component parts, we are offering participants the ability to have the full experience of one of our flagship 5-day courses but from the comfort of their own home. This is something we have been asked for previously and we are delighted to now be able to offer such flexibility. As well as a new digital format we are now offering participants who are unable to attend, for whatever reason, on the days or times below, the opportunity to have access to the full workshop or practice group recording of the live session. All you must do is book a place on the course you’d like access to and then email us to let us know that you want access to the recordings only.

Since 2006 we have been fortunate enough to be able to rent the Hildenborough C of E primary school, which provides a fine, safe and friendly learning environment. Since the school was first established it has grown that we currently welcome around 70 children with German background from the ages of 3.5 to 11 years old. Our objective is to create a fun and friendly environment in which children can practice, enhance and improve the German they learn at home, make new friends and widen their knowledge of German culture and traditions. As we are not a formal language school, and therefore do not teach German as a foreign language, all lessons are held in German. It is therefore essential that the children have a certain minimum level of understanding and speaking German when they first start at the school. We have 6 classes with a maximum of 12 children per class. The lessons are held each Saturday morning during term time from 10am until 12 midday. All Classes are taught by German teachers or by parents with the relevant qualifications. It is important that all children enjoy being taught in German and look forward to coming to the Saturday lessons. The first lesson with Jack was awesome! Made me feel incredibly welcome, and at ease. He explained the fundamentals of the lesson, how lessons are structured going forward and taught in a clear, easy-to-understand manner. Worked at the pace I felt comfortable with, offered advice on how to improve, and made me feel confident in what I was doing. So pleased I found him as my new teacher! Excited for the next lesson and more! BEN Had a lesson with Jack! This was my first time playing the drums and was a Christmas present. I have always wanted to try and see if I could play. Well, Jack was very patient and very good at breaking down the basics, he showed different ways of learning so depending on how you as an individual learn, Jack has a teaching method to help you. By the end of the lesson, I was playing along to the music which surprised me. I really felt a sense of accomplishment at the end of the lesson and that is all down to Jack and the way he teaches! DEAN I started my drumming lessons with Jack and I have nothing but praise for his work. He's very patient, encouraging, and paces the class perfectly. His classes are motivating, interesting and a lot of fun. I'd highly recommend.
