Selecting a secondary school is one of the biggest decisions you will make as a family. I’ve been working at Lutterworth College since 2005. I live in the community, and my children attend one of our feeder primaries. In time, they’ll be attending the College. We know that your children are central to your life – and they carry just as much importance to us. I firmly believe that, if something isn’t good enough for my children, it certainly isn’t good enough for yours. I want Lutterworth College to be a great school, but without any tricks or stunts. We prioritise the things we believe matter the most: a broad and enriching curriculum that comprises both academic and practical learning; well-taught lessons that ensure students enjoy coming to school; exceptionally high expectations that prepare them for life beyond the classroom; and a wealth of opportunities for them to flourish. We felt then and still do now that this quote perfectly encapsulates what we aim to empower our clients with: we want their words to flow “trippingly off the tongue”, with fluency and fluidityOur company started life back in 1998 when Duncan Holmes (Boo) and Jonathan Bacon formed a partnership and created a course that blended two worlds: the world of business and the world of theatre. One day, having left their jobs at Lloyds of London and a travel company to train at the world-renowned London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, Boo and Jon were reflecting on the challenges common to both worlds and came to the realisation that the business world had a lot to learn from the theatre and vice-versa. Combining their skills and experience from both worlds created the perfect recipe for their first “Power of Speech” course. 20 years later, all our courses and coaches still reflect the subtle combination of these two worlds. Our courses are high-energy and impactful whilst remaining true to the business world of today. This carefully balanced approach is what makes an immediate and noticeable difference.

Tuesday Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow classes are held at 'autonomous room east' in Dennistoun, Glasgow. A generously sized lounge in an old merchant villa provides a beautiful, unique and calming backdrop for a varying Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow! Sessions are designed to improve strength and flexibility, focus the mind and more importantly, bring a smile to your face! Expect to perfect sun salutations, alignment of core standing and seated postures, as well as exploring peak poses and a juicy savasana! A community based class welcoming all ages and levels. For now, 8 spaces are available so ensure everyone has enough comfortable space around their mat. Class booking + attendance is £7 and can be paid in person or via PayPal with this booking, subject to booking fee. Rachel's work is gaining acclaim in Cornwall and she has been commissioned to produce work for a number of prestigious exhibitions. One of her most recent works is on display in Trelissick House, this was commissioned by The National Trust who selected Rachel from hundreds of other local artists. Her brief was to create a piece of work that told the story of Edward Lawrence in 1776 who was shipwrecked off the coast of The West Indies while endeavouring to cease The Slave Trade. In 2016, Rachel produced a beautiful piece to contribute to a stunning touring exhibition featuring a variety of art media from sculpture to pottery, painting to metalwork, each commemorating the anniversary of The First World War. Rachel's 8 ft long table runner in silk and velvet depicted silhouettes of war- worn soldiers, barbed wire, map detail of Belgium and France with the colours inspired by green hills, mud-filled trenches and the vibrant red of poppy fields. The sensitivity, detail and care with which Rachel's work provides a thought provoking and moving insight to the this most significant event highlights her creative strength and her skill as an artist. This work was displayed at Trelowarren gallery, Truro Cathedral and Penlee House Gallery, Penzance.

Good quality, affordable childcare offering : Breakfast clubs, After School Clubs, Holiday Clubs. Rainbow Out of School Clubs offer safe, stimulating and above all fun environment for children aged 4 and 11 years. The play environment allows the children to be offered a selection of structured activities and play opportunities which take place both in and outdoors weather permitting e.g. art & craft, board games, construction activities, role play, clay modelling, home corner, pool table, kwik-cricket, ball games and much more. The children are free to choose activities. Play opportunities are risk assessed and evaluated to ensure that the safety of the children is balanced with the enjoyment and fun element. Qualified and experienced and police checked playworkers understand the importance of play and how this impacts on the individual development needs of children. Playworkers receive ongoing training to ensure the quality of care is paramount. All clubs are registered with Ofsted (where legally required to do so), and inspected in accordance with the law & guidance surrounding the care of children in a play environment. Parents/Carers are issued with terms and conditions upon registration. A comprehensive list of policies which the club operates by are available at the clubs. You will be required to complete registration forms for your child prior to joining.
