land and leaf collective community interest company
Our sessions are open to all and aim to increase access to nature. We are
committed to providing high quality forest school sessions with a percentage of
subsidised and free places on every programme, delivering in accessible spaces
and developing strong communities around each programme. Research shows that the
closer we get to nature, the happier we are, the more worthwhile life seems, and
the more we are willing to take action to help our wildlife and the environment.
With a focus on increasing accessibility to forest school and natural spaces, we
also deliver free holiday sessions for children receiving free school meals and
those with additional needs, as part of Lincolnshire County Council’s Holiday
Activities and Food Scheme. We provide inclusive sessions for families with
autistic children and funded forest school sessions in inner city areas. We also
deliver forest school programmes for home educating families, holiday clubs and
in schools. Our parent and child groups introduce children and families to
nature play and activities based on forest school principles. We continue to
extend our provision, to offer more free and subsidised places, develop a
volunteer programme for young leaders and offer sessions to adults and families
that support mental health and wellbeing.
