Alexandra was born in the USA and spent her formative years in London and Glasgow. Her musical abilities were recognised from a very young age and she began having regular piano and vocal lessons at the age of four. Alexandra had the honour of being the youngest singing student to be accepted at the prestigious Junior Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London. Whilst studying there, she benefited from singing lessons, vocal workshops and master-classes with both formidable voice teachers and visiting leading professionals. This early exposure to such a high standard of coaching was a great source of inspiration for an aspiring young soprano. Alexandra was invited to attend the Association Of Teachers Of Singing training course for four consecutive years, which provided her with a solid foundation for developing her own teaching technique which she loves to share in her own teaching lessons. Having always had a special love of Scotland, it seemed to be a natural progression for her to complete her studies at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, Glasgow (now known as The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland) where Alexandra was awarded her Bachelor of Music with Honours Degree. Now based in Central Scotland and accessible from Falkirk, Stirling, Glasgow amd Edinburgh, Alexandra enjoys working as a freelance singer (soprano) and singing teacher. She is currently delighted to be working with Music in Hospitals and Care (MiHC) with whom she has regular concert engagements and tours.

A bespoke twelve-week resilience and anger management programme, for your school. Sessions can be devised to meet your cohort requirements. Our programme supports Y5 & Y6, students who form part of your ‘hard to reach’ cohort, who without preventative intervention may struggle with transition into Y7 and may become at risk of permanent exclusion. Our programme can be tailored for Y7 students to support them further, post transition. Furthermore, we can adapt our programme to engage with vulnerable students who are low in confidence, self esteem and social skills. Week 1 is an introduction to the course to students. Weeks 2 -11 is; A one-hour period of Taekwondo, teaching students the importance of self-discipline and respect, whilst improving self-esteem, confidence and team working skills. A one-hour classroom-based session covering: mental health; mindfulness; sleep hygiene; relaxation & calming techniques; health and well-being; resilience and positive mental attitude. We can also deliver lessons exploring how to be a model citizen, and how to avoid becoming drawn into contemporary youth crime such as: anti-social behaviour; bullying; truancy; knife crime; gangs and substance misuse. We will also deliver lessons covering; parent abuse; internet safety; personal safety; child sexual exploitation (if the school deems appropriate); crime & consequences; and domestic violence. Hi, my name is Katy Renny. You can find me on Facebook. As a signatory of the Registration Council for Dog Trainers and Behaviour Practitioners; and a supporting member of Qualified International Dog Training Instructors, I abide by the Companion Animal Welfare Council code of practice. I started working with dogs at the grass roots, as a dog walker. It began when I got my own dog, Bonnie, and a friend asked me if I would walk her dog too, on a professional basis. That seems like a lifetime ago now. And it goes deeper than that, as my childhood was enriched with a numerous, assortment of family dogs. It planted the seed. The dog walking business flourished and opened my eyes to the wonderful world of working with dogs. I wanted to explore more and so embarked on a practical course with a highly knowledgeable and experienced dog trainer. He has shared the art of pet dog training with me and taught me to instruct. I have been instructing owners in puppy training and dog training since 2014. My practical, reward based dog training experience is backed up with continued professional development and study. I have attended residential courses, workshops and seminars, including True2Life Dog Training and Behaviour, and the Canine Instructors' Academy, gaining diplomas, and I continue to study the science of behaviour with an Advanced Diploma in Canine Behaviour Management.
