The Gas Certification Company Limited opened for business on 2 July 1997. Initially operating from rented premises, the Company now owns its premises in Blantyre Industrial Estate – a basic industrial unit which was purchased and converted into a bespoke training centre of the highest quality in 2003. Gas Certification Company Limited was formed to provide engineers with training and assessment for Gas Safe registration. Initially training was presented to meet ACOPs standard and then the ACS qualification which was introduced in 1999 replacing ACOPs by 31 July 2003.

Our Oxford EMI Certificate for University Lecturers courses are available online and face-to-face. Our Health and Safety training courses are devised and written by experts with decades of training experience. We know the key areas you need to cover and those which need closer scrutiny and study. Each individual training course is audited by its relevant UK training body. The certificate you gain by completing the course carries their accreditation. Each section of the video course can be played as many times as you want. You can review the content but you can’t scroll through to the end… Classroom-based training is disruptive and expensive, and text based eLearning can be so boring. We asked a lot of people what they thought and those were the responses we received. We feel your pain. We make our courses entertaining exactly because we’re serious about Health & Safety training. Learning is easier when you’re engaged and people concentrate harder when they’re entertained. OCOSC was founded in 1989 to provide after school childcare between 3 PM and 6 PM in an area where such facilities were in very short supply but in high demand. This has since expanded to include mornings and holidays, an a wrap-around style. In line with parents’ requirements, the organisation is currently able to provide continuous support to children from age 4 to 14, 52 weeks of the year and a single point for collection and/or dropping-off family members of different ages and attending different schools. The objectives that the Club aims to meet through its work include early year education, training and providing care and counselling to children and young people. We cater for the educational, emotional, cultural, developmental and physical needs of the children that attend, in line with Ofsted requirements. Of our 18 staff, 12 have a recognised childcare qualification, 11 a recognised Playwork qualification and we aim to help all staff achieve their paediatric first aid certificate. My work is driven by the urge to experiment and sample yarns. I respond to the environments I find myself in, urban or rural. Trees are a constant inspiration, as are buildings. I have recently been making work concerned with vision and the loss of sight. I favour plant fibres: cotton, hemp, linen, jute and bamboo but also include wool and silk. I have been weaving on small frames since I was a child. Following an art and design Foundation Course, I gained a BA (Hons) in African and Asian Art and Archaeology at SOAS, London University. I have worked as an arts administrator and assistant for artists and arts organisations, gaining a certificate in Arts Management and Levels 1 & 2 OCA Textiles. Having specialised in Tapestry Weaving, I completed the post-graduate diploma at West Dean College in 1997. I exhibit in the UK and internationally. Conversely, I am also working on and researching a medieval-inspired community embroidered tapestry to commemorate the Battle of Lewes (1264). I teach tapestry weaving and crewel embroidery techniques.

Adobe Certified Expert & Instructor | BA | MSc I have over 15 years of working experience in Design, Photography and Media, allowing me to maintain a wide variety of skills that assist in supporting students, professionals and enthusiasts involved in the Creative industries. Currently, I'm freelancing and teaching MSc Design at the University of Edinburgh. Since I started teaching in 2013, I have taught other educators, art directors, creative professionals but also students of all ages (5 to 75!) and abilities, including individuals with learning and behavioural difficulties. Moreover, I have delivered bespoke Adobe creative training for clients such as the BBC, SKY, WWF, NHS, ILGA, Roche, The National Gallery and several Universities and Colleges. Since 2015 I've continuously been one of the very few Adobe Certified Instructors and Experts. Because of my comprehensive knowledge of the Adobe software and digital media theory, I received a series of certifications from Adobe, such as Educator Specialist in Visual and Video Design, Digital Imaging and Digital Creativity Expert for classrooms, Expert in Digital Media and Creativity Training and Adobe Education Trainer, accrediting me to train other educators.
