Tickly Paws Pet Care is owned and run by myself Gillian Salmon. I have spent the last 20 years studying and working with animals. I have extensive knowledge of your pets needs with a genuine love for all animals. I starting volunteering with the Dogs Trust when I was fifteen and it was here my passion for animals was set alight. I decided to study at Oatridge Agricultural College to gain practical experience working with livestock, horses, small animals, and reptiles. After graduating from college I went on to attend Edinburgh Napier University, where I studied Animal Biology as I wanted to widen my knowledge. I spent three wonderful years studying all aspects of animals from husbandry to behavior and everything in between. Whilst still studying I got a part-time job at the Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home and after graduating from University, I started working full time. I loved every minute of my time working there and before I knew it had been eight whole years. While working at the Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home, I gained a keen eye for identifying health issues from my numerous interactions with the associated Veterinarian practice. I have taken hundreds of animals to the vet for a variety of reasons, some major and some minor, keeping a calm head when this need may arise. As a result of these visits, I have developed an extensive knowledge of many medical issues. I also became a master at administering medication even to the most difficult customers. I worked with dogs and cats when they first came into the Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home, upon arrival, they were usually frightened, shut down, and sometimes aggressive. However, with time, patience, and love I helped many of them blossom into beautiful loving animals waiting for their second chance. I would cry tears of joy when one of them found their forever home. I fostered kittens with cat flu, cats with allergies, kidney & liver disease, and dogs with trust and behavioral issues. One of the greatest things I have ever done is to foster a diabetic dog called Hondo who came to stay over Christmas and ended up staying forever. I currently own an Akita cross called Rogue whom I re-homed from the Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home. She is reactive to dogs and people, it was trying to understand her that sent me on my dog training journey. She has taught me so much and I wouldn't be the trainer I am today without her. I relocated to Gateshead in 2015 and got a job at a Mypetstop, a private boarding kennel based in Washington. I was hired as the kennel supervisor. After two years I became the Centre Manager and enjoyed this new job role and the challenges it brought. However, I missed working with animals and being active. As my role involved managing people I had very little interaction with the pets we boarded and felt I had diverted from my true calling. I took the plunge and left to start my own business and this is how Tickly Paws Pet Care was formed. I feel empowered by what I do and get so much joy from creating custom pleasure tools for clients that I decided to share the experience and give others the opportunity to create something fun, unique and really personal. My workshops are rewarding experience; they nurture playfulness, creativity and connection with ourselves and others. Yes, we’re putting enamel decals on porcelain sex toys but these workshops are so much more than the sum of their parts. They push people’s boundaries and challenge preconceptions in a gentle, fun, and creative way, encouraging a healthy attitude toward sexuality and ownership over our own pleasure. What to expect. A warm, welcoming atmosphere. Because we use a range of pre-printed enamel decals, no artistic ability is required. Spaces are limited but everyone is welcome regardless of artistic ability. I don't specify that all the workshops are women only but that tends to be the case. The workshop lasts around 3.5 hours and once decorated, the handmade dildo needs to dry for 24 - 48 hours before being enamel fired and shipped in the post. It’s amazing to see what people create with the same resources; there is always so much diversity and it's wonderful to see my dildos embellished with your creative designs. Prosecco, light refreshments and treats and return postage are included in the workshop fee. Studio vibes. During the workshops, conversations amble from the intimate, to playful, emotional, insightful, and uplifting; everyone who attends has a different story and fresh perspective. It’s humbling to share the afternoon with so many inspiring women (and sometimes men!) creating together. One of my past participants said that it was like therapy for her and I guess it is for all of us in some way. From the beginning of Jesus Christ’s ministry with just 12 disciples to the thousands of laborers, supporters and co-workers of today, God’s Work has had a vital job to do. The purpose for which Christ established the Church characterizes its work—its activities and overall commission. The Work is a spiritual work. In the New Testament, Christ showed us that the purpose of God’s Work is twofold. First, we are to proclaim to the world, as a witness, the good news of the coming Kingdom of God. As part of that witness, because of mankind’s sins we are to publish the Bible’s warning of the disasters that will precede Christ’s Second Coming. Secondly, we are to spiritually nourish the Church itself, preparing the people God calls for future responsibilities under Christ when He returns to rule all nations in love. The many and varied endeavors of the pcg all trace back to this clear, exciting twofold commission. The ministers and members of the pcg are dedicated to proclaiming and living the way of life explained in the Bible. It is a way of sharing and giving, of caring for others, of striving for godliness in all our dealings with our fellow man. It is a way of family harmony and joy, a way of peace among nations and peoples of all cultures and races. It is a way of rigorous accomplishment, and drawing on God’s help to achieve the very fullest of our incredible human potential. Winter solstice is between the past and the future. It is a place of freedom from the past and free from the future. The only place to make a choice. The dying Sun enters the present to be reborn or regenerated. The present tense is a womb that gives birth to all things, a dot surrounded by a circle is a symbol for a womb and provides the plan for the life to be grown. These seeds contain within them the three functions that govern all life forms, future, present and past. The present is that which breathes in and out or future and past. In Ancient Egypt the name of a Mummy is a Karist or the Call to be I Am. Making a mummy is making a seed to plant in the earth, and this seed is a storehouse of memories of its past experiences as a basis of how it relates to its promised future. Memories of events that rely on external circumstances for their life are left behind and memories that contribute towards the character of the being are built in to the seeds of future causes. What belongs to us is not the memories of the events themselves, but the pain or joy of our responses to those events. How we respond is what is important, What we respond too is not important. When we die, we do not take our house, money, clothes or material obligations with us, we take our painful or joyful responses to what happened to us. We cannot change the event but we can change our response. Out of these seeds of causes we create a new year. Jesus is a Sun God, incorporated in a set of stories about an initiatory journey to become Karistified. It is not a past tense story, It is a story about the birth and death of all life forms and as such should not have to endure the restrictions of time, space or gender. The same stories have existed for thousands of years based on the relationship between light and matter. The source material comes from a much deeper past than most organ-isations are prepared to admit. Jesus is the product of the four elements or that which provides all life forms with not only the material ingredients of their body, land, food etc. but also of the abstract events that life brings to us. These elements are provided through the present tense, and they are everywhere and nowhere for eternity. Jesus becomes invested with a fifth element enabling a process of karistification, all life forms die into the present and are reborn. (going to sleep and waking up.) The goddesses are said to be immortal and the Gods are mortal. Relative to gender a man and a womb-man, are both mortal. What exists is immortal and mortal with an active and passive functionality or mortal with a future and a past. The real cause of all births is unproven by science and religion. The cause of any birth is the I AM of the child from out the darkness and the materials for that birth are provided through the womb of the mother. All births are virgin births in the sense that it is the spirit of the child that controls the time, place and circumstances of the birth. This consciousness transits from apparently nowhere into a womb that is somewhere and appears on Earth. All women are unconsciously in contact with the other world. It is the same with the upper womb of the mind where a thought can drop into your head from nowhere and can appear as uttered speech through your mouth. The words uttered and uterus in Ancient culture are often attributed to a priest who uttered the words that come though the present tense. Winter Solstice is an acknowledgement of the creative potential contained within the seeds of all life forms with a promised return or a restoration of circular continuity. Arthur and Guinevere with her round table will one day return.

Founded by Artistic Director Caroline Clegg Feelgood have been creating award winning theatre since 1994 fusing the unusual with the imaginative - classical texts and ground breaking new commissions at traditional and site specific venue. A cappella singing and drumming, Shakespeare and African dance, abseiling, pyrotechnics and fire sculpting with music and drama - in parks, cliff tops, garden centres, African townships, museums and traditional theatres, national tours and West End transfers. We have distinguished ourselves with an array of acclaimed shows following our spectacular launch with the musical Our Girls in 1994, where the audience lined the runway at Barton Aerodrome and looked on in awe as a World War II bomber landed to disembark the cast. We have followed that with 24 years of incredible productions: Blue Remembered Hills, Pictures at An Exhibition, (Mussorgsky), La Boheme (Puccini), Wind in the Willows, Robin Hood, The Wizard of Oz, Rosa, The Three Musketeers, Dracula - The Blood Count, Arthur - King of the Britons, Macbeth and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, national tours and West End transfers of Not About Heroes, and we were honoured to be presented to HM The Queen and HRH Duke of Edinburgh at the opening of The Lowry theatre where we opened our production of Crystal Clear followed by The Wizard Of Oz, which sold out for their first Christmas show. Integral to each production is our commitment to making innovative education and community programmes. In 2007, Artistic Director Caroline Clegg and the company were awarded the prestigious Horniman Award at the Manchester Evening News Awards for their outstanding contribution to live theatre. They also hold the Angel Award for Artistic Excellence and Caroline was awarded the John Thaw Fellowship at the University of Manchester in honour of her companies work. In 2002 we developed Romeo & Juliet - Thando & Ruvhengo a riveting multi-cultural production made in Bulawayo Zimbabwe and performed in Bulawayo, Harare and Manchester as part of the Culture Shock Commonwealth Games programme. The journey was made into an award-winning documentary. In 2009 we collaborated in Manchester with the thrilling company exiled from Zimbabwe Theatre Under Fire to create our incredibly moving Macbeth in Heaton Park. In 2010 the world premiere of Slave - A Question of Freedom (the story of Mende Nazer) followed a trajectory of thrilling work from Africa that aims to celebrate the joy of diversity and raise awareness of modern slavery. It won the Pete Postlethwaite Best New Play Award and the Inaugural Human Trafficking Foundation Media Award which was presented at No 10 Downing Street. It was also performed in the House of Lords to aid the Nuba Mountains Solidarity campaign to highlight not only slavery in Sudan but the continued persecution of the Nuba people. In 2014 on the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of the Frist World War we followed in the footsteps of Wilfred Owen and Siegfried Sassoon went on an 18 venue national and European tour of Not About Heroes. We began at Craiglockhart War Hospital and toured across the UK to places pertinent to them both including La Maison Forestiers – (the Foresters House) in Ors France where Wilfred Owen spent his last few days before a 5 week residency beginning on the 11th of November at the Trafalgar Studios in the West End. The same year Feelgood were honoured with a second Lord Mayor's Civic Reception for our dedication to the arts. Alongside this tour we also created an international poetry competition to raise awareness of PTSD. Workshops took place at Catterick Garrison and in schools and community venues at our 18 venues culminating in a special winners award ceremony in 2015. Heaton Park is a special place for Feelgood. We used to tour our summer open-air shows across the country and went to Heaton in 1998 where we performed for 11 yrs. After a gap of 9 years we returned in May 2016 with Whispers of Heaton. We presented two new immersive site-specific commission plays, The Bugler and The Fight to commemorate the Battle of the Somme and the Manchester Pals regiments in Heaton Hall and Park. This announced our return to Heaton, the place we love to call our spiritual home and where we are now the Official Theatre Partner with Manchester City Council. In the summer of 2017 we brought back our open-air promenade productions with A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The park is a unique place with hundreds of stories to tell and we aim to reveal them as we re-ignite a passion for culture in the park. Our long term vision which we announced at a special dinner hosted by our sponsor PZ Cussons on November 14th 2017 is to build a theatre in the park. We are in year two of our vision development which is called ‘Field of Dreams’. We are undertaking a feasibility study in consultation with Manchester City Council in line with their new Manchester Park Strategy. We hope a Feelgood Theatre in the Park will be a cultural space for world class theatre, music, dance and open air activities. Heaton Park is cherished by so many and our aim is that we build a lasting legacy to ensure that theatre can be accessed by everyone.
