Details 
Using pre-recorded training, interactive on-line content (through Padlet), self-directed learning and live events, this substantial and comprehensive blended training course keeps delegates interested, engaged and learning new ways to bring excellence to their 24-hour postural care provision and focuses on the often neglected lying position and how unsupported lying drives changes to a person's body shape which impacts sitting, standing and functional movement. 
You will have access to the online learning from 4th November 2024 and be provided with all the information you will need to complete the course. At 1pm (GMT) on 4th November you will then join the trainers for an introductory event via Zoom to provide an outline of the training and to answer any questions you may have. Over the next few weeks you can access the pre-recorded training videos and interactive online content to enable you to complete the workbook. On 16th December there will be a series of live discussion events for the specific ages the course covers to assess your learning (you must attend at least one of these events - please see below for further information). 
Why? 
People with complex needs, deserve a thorough, co-ordinated 24-hour postural care service. We only get one body and yet people with complex disabilities don't always get the 'annual service' afforded the equipment they use.
Posture Positive report (2020) found training is a key aspect to developing resilient and robust 24-hour postural care for people with complex needs. Every person with complex needs or limited movement requires a comprehensive 24-hour postural care service delivered in a personalised way.

The course is suitable for specialist physiotherapists, specialist occupational therapists and other highly trained healthcare professionals working in health, SEN and social care. 
The course breaks down the life span of a person as follows:

Each delegate selects the aspects of the course relevant to their particular area of practice whilst having access to all the course resources.

Starting on November 9th, I am opening up an intimate journey container for 10 women who feel ready to delve deeper into their vocal practise. We will be journeying together over weekly live zoom sessions, including voice activation classes and self-enquiry heart-share topics. Alongside this, you will be supported to delve deeper into your personal relationship with voice with the 5 week Women's Voice Medicine Course supplying you with on demand videos and daily practises to keep you inspired, motivated and practising during the 5 weeks and beyond. Access to the course is for 1 year, so once the 5 week journey container is finished you will have continual practise guidance through the the next 4 seasons, keep embodied in your vocal practise autumn, winter, spring and blossoming into summer! 

After the 5 week container you will also receive access to our monthly Live Zoom Voice activation classes, which are a warm, playful and nurturing online expression space, giving you the opportunity to keep connected with the community and inspire your personal practise every month.

About the 1-1 Voice Medicine Sessions

Session duration: 2 hours
These sessions are designed as a ritual. We have a consultation at first to determine what to energetically work on and to set intentions. I then guide you through your own personal Voice Medicine Journey, we use embodied voicework practises, meditation, affirmations, somatic movement, breathwork and playful sounding to support your journey to a fuller, confident and expressive voice.

How do I attend?

EITHER -
CLASSROOM OPTION - Attend one of our scheduled classroom locations, completing your Introduction to Phlebotomy Course over 2 days. You will also complete your Advanced Training at the end of the first day and your Competency Training at the end of the second day.

Our Introduction to Phlebotomy and Advanced Phlebotomy Training Kits are supplied at no charge when booking our virtual classroom training option.
If you would like to add one or both of these kits to your classroom training option then these are available to add at time of booking. Our comprehensive training kits each mirror the same equipment and supplies used in the classroom and both include detailed video tutorials, allowing you to continue to practice and "hone" your skills after you have completed your practical training.

OR -

VIRTUAL CLASSROOM OPTION- Complete your theory training online at home or work, then join us for a one day Zoom session to complete your Introduction to Phlebotomy virtual classroom training, followed by your Advanced Training in the evening of the same day. You have the option to add a classroom-based competency session, awarding a CPD Accredited Geopace Certificate of Competency, at time of booking.

Our Virtual Classroom option includes two very comprehensive training kits - one for your introductory course and one for your advanced course. Kits are included at no charge (normally £79.95 each) and are yours to keep and to continue to practice with after you have finished your courses. The equipment and supplies included in your kits are the same as those used if you choose the classroom option.

Please note - Competency Training
Our Route to Competency Masterclass - Live Blood Sessions can only be completed in a classroom environment. This is included when you book a classroom option. When booking the virtual classroom option you can choose to add this at time of booking. You will receive a voucher code to enable you to book onto any upcoming dates or locations. For most of our two day course we run our competency training at the end of the second day and therefore you should be able to complete your full training programme with us over two days.
