Based in Glasgow, the company performs regularly all over Scotland – from our biggest cities to our most remote communities, and increasingly throughout the UK and internationally – promoting Scotland’s pioneering spirit far and wide. Our artistic vision: bold, adventurous performances rooted in strong classical technique. It’s how we started and it’s how we’ll grow. Our desire to explore new styles and push creativity is as alive as ever – we’ll continue to work with ground-breaking choreographers such as Ivgi & Greben, Bryan Arias, David Dawson and Crystal Pite. Our creative vision goes beyond choreography. From digital platforms to novel ideas that engage our audiences, we’re always seeking new ways to bring the power of dance to as many people as possible. We are here to present ballet at its best. We are passionate about live music and tour with an orchestra whenever we can. We present classics in new ways and we work with the finest dance makers. Throughout it all, we strive for excellence. We are dedicated to supporting the arts and communities in Scotland. Scottish Ballet nurtures the talent of tomorrow; supporting dancers, choreographers and a wide range of artists. Our goal: to inspire excellence and creativity in everyone and bring dance to people we haven’t reached before. We want to bring the joy and benefits of dance to everyone regardless of age, ability and background. At ilmburst, we are very excited about launching this project. Excited, because we are passionate about nurturing our children from a young age, nurturing in them a love for their religion and nurturing their spiritual development. The idea for ilmburst began when we found that many of us as parents don’t have the confidence to teach our children their religion. This is due to a variety of reasons. Some of us feel we don’t have the knowledge and ability, others among us don’t have the time to research and prepare the material needed to teach our children and yet others are afraid that they may teach something incorrectly or use inauthentic material. We aim to help change that, in sha Allah. We should all be able to help teach our children in an engaging and fun way. What better way to bond with your children than doing something which is pleasing to Allah? Using the individual skills and talents of our team we have brought together people qualified in Islamic studies, education and teaching experience to create a wide variety of resources across a wide breadth of subjects, which are then designed using professional design software to ensure high quality. Our vision is to help nurture a generation of Muslims who are proud and confident of their Islam, and who then use this confidence to excel academically, into their chosen career paths and be role models within their communities. We ask Allah, the Most High, to grant us all success as parents and teachers, and that He blesses our children and makes them a source of happiness and joy for us in this world and the next.

Our Mission Building sustainable communities around sport facilities, connecting visionary actors in sport, development, politics and business to community needs and opportunities.Dream Fields was created by former colleagues from international football who wanted to use their experience in sport for the good of communities around the world. In their daily work, Colin, David, Emilia and Stuart had witnessed the power of sport first hand, be it in the incredible stories of women who fought against all odds just to get the chance to play the beautiful game, or in the children kicking a makeshift ball in a slum where the game seemed to wipe off their worries and create the brightest of smiles on their faces. Dream Fields was born out of the hope to spread this joy and grow it into sustainability livelihoods for communities where everyone has the right to play. The Dream Fields concept was born from this search for not merely ‘sport for good’ but ‘sport for sustainable and prosperous communities’. In 2021, co-founder Stuart decided to embark on a journey to better understand the real issues around sport and sustainability. As part of a course with the Cambridge Institute of Sustainability Leadership, he presented a general concept of how a sports facility could become the focal point of driving a local economy with a heavy focus on environmental sustainability, ultimately hoping to reach the level of interdependence seen in various symbiosis projects globally. After completing the programme, Stuart shared the concept with former colleagues Colin, David and Emilia. As the concept grew wings, Samy joined the team to bring in his operations and engineering expertise. - Dream Fields was born.

My name is Evelin and I co-founded Filthy Fit with my husband. In a nutshell, we are a health conscious brand, not only for health conscious people. Short story long: Just like most of you, we like luscious food. Thinking here about a banging cake, or a proper wellington. You choose! If it is fit and healthy, that’s just the cherry on the top. We are also nuts about nuts and big adventurers of spicy dishes. This is how we happened to make a batch of filthy delicious spicy peanut butter using our favorite spice, a ground paprika straight from our home town. From that day we started testing this nut butter on every kind of food, from a piece of toast through meaty dishes and vegan stuff, even on cookies - no judgment please. We spent quite a bit of time perfecting this nut butter recipe to make it as unique as possible for you. Then we had this other idea: The Ultimate Cinnamon Vanilla Peanut Butter - Filthy Fit [https://filthyfit.co.uk/products/peanut-butter-with-cinnamon-and-vanilla]. Cinnamon and vanilla goes better with cookies, doesn't it? Ideas came and went since, but the enthusiasm stayed and the persistence to improve our products (leave feedback on our product pages). These are our own original recipes that make us unique and special. Either you are following a healthy lifestyle, or just want some healthier alternatives without giving up the joy of a delicious meal, we are here for you. We chose to work with spices like no other brands do, because spices can provide all the flavors a dish would need, so cooking and baking with our nut butters is easy and won’t require lots of other ingredients. This is why chefs love to work with our products and restaurants and gym’s cafes have items on their menus using Filthy Fit nut butters. Our products are equally suitable for food junkies and plant-based diet followers too, as they go equally well with a juicy meat, or with an oatmeal making them exceptionally flavourful and diverse. One of our missions is to spread the ideas to avoid only spreading them on toast.

Yes, I was just another stressed out west Londoner. Busy-ness and exhaustion was my badge of honour. I was infatuated with agitation. As a journalist, novelist and mother of three, I saw life as an uphill battle to be won. Littered with lists, relentless self-criticism and unfavourable comparison. Until I read Professor Mark Williams book about Mindfulness. Everything he explained was obvious, but had failed to see it without Mindfulness practice. I immediately gained a decisive, calm, spacious joy and so much extra time that dramatically changed the quality of my daily life. After meditating for many years, finally, I took the plunge and went to study at the Oxford Mindfulness Centre, Oxford University. I went on to teacher training with the internationally-acclaimed Mindfulness teachers Martin Alyward and Mark Coleman at the Mindfulness Training Institute. I am a certified teacher with the Mindfulness Training Institute and accredited to International Mindfulness Teachers Association. Once you can bring yourself back to being present, conscious and aware of your moment by moment experience, you can so easily navigate the inevitable difficulties, ups and downs that is the stuff of all of our lives. You have no fear, no anxiety, because you have the ease of knowing you can meet all your experience without resorting to knee-jerk habits and reactions that inevitably hinder rather than help you. Once you see clearly what is going on in your daily life, you can respond wisely, simply and freely without the narratives and stories we tell ourselves and others to try and make sense of ourselves and our experience. I really hope that I will have the opportunity to share this simple, yet life changing practice with you.

I am a goldsmith, an artist, a craftsperson, a dreamer and a maker. I take great pride in being part of a long chain of makers who have carried on the tradition of handmade jewellery. The permanence, longevity and portability of jewellery provides a rich history in the story of being human. I am proud that my work is part of so many stories of love, celebration and joy. My work is influenced by the play of line and form found in nature and architecture. I enjoy exploring the drama of mixed materials, textures, and surface treatments in my work. I use these influences to create pieces that are contemporary and will stand the test of time. All of my designs are made in my studio in the UK. I specialise in small batch production runs meaning that my work is never mass-produced and is crafted with my own hands. I also offer bespoke commission pieces for those in search of unique and personal items to commemorate special occasions and life events. See my blog page for more details of bespoke work. ETHICS As a human, a mother and a maker I endeavour to be as environmentally responsible as I can in all my practices. This means using recycled precious metal in all my designs, sourcing precious gems through ethical suppliers and using packaging made of FSC Eco materials. I aim to keep business and workshop waste at an absolute minimum, I recycle everything I can and I use no harsh chemicals in my processes. All that said I am not perfect but I do my very best to be responsible. I keep myself educated and informed about what best options are available to me as a maker and promote those ideas and ethics onto my customers and students.
