Our one-day online workshop is designed to equip social workers to produce high quality assessments. Social workers who are new to fostering assessments or those who are experienced will benefit from developing their analytical and reflective skills. Each participant will receive our developed foster assessors pack which includes, Undertaking a Fostering Assessment book, Section A, B and C Exemplars, Health and safety, Safer Caring, Fire Safety and Reference Interview Exemplars. Homework for applicants Exemplars, case studies and much more. After completing the course each delegate with receive a CPD accredited certificate.CPD number #777300 The CPD Group. The course follows CoramBAAF guidelines and provides assessors with the knowledge and skills to meet all statutory requirements when preparing and presenting reports to a fostering panel. The course is presented by one of our experienced Training Form F Assessors. To access the course all registered delegates will receive an email containing a link. All that is required is a computer and an internet connection. Delegates will also have the option dial into the session from a phone. This live online session gives delegates the opportunity to ask questions and interact throughout the session. Prior to the training session each delegate will receive an assessor pack. the 1947 club

During this period and despite the pandemic, the 1947 Club has gone from strength to strength and that is because we made the immediate shift change to deliver our CPD by Zoom. More importantly, we all kept in touch with each other and maximised any opportunity to have Zoom socials with the North East Matrics Committee/1947 Club Next Generation and provide support to the younger members of the surveying profession. This last year has seen some positive outcomes but we have all experienced some lows, especially within the 1947 Club. Some of us have lost loved ones due to Covid19 and during the pandemic, which has been a difficult time for families coping with the legal restrictions in force at the time.

John has a master’s degree in coaching and mentoring, accredited globally by the European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC) at senior practitioner level. John coaches/mentors numerous individual and team clients within corporate and elite sports performance settings. Current and recent clients include, The Football Association, the Brazilian National Football Federation (CBF), Malawi Football Association, Denmark Football Association, Thailand Football Association Technical Director and MK Dons, Sporting Director. “Excellent. Being a level 4 qualified coach, John has coached The FA England Partially Sighted National Football Squad to a world ranking of third. John has also coached elite children between the ages of 8 and 18 within boys, girls and disability performance environments within the UK. In addition, John has coached and mentored children and adults within grassroots clubs both in the UK and USA. Further supporting John’s executive coaching and mentoring is his experience as a strategist and business leader. John is a successful business owner, having established his growing consultancy, Summitpeople Ltd. John has been a CEO for an award-winning County Football Association and Regional Manager and National Manager for the Football Association.
