Confidance Performing Arts is an established and exciting school for dance, acro and theatre arts in Chryston, Glasgow. Our aim is to create a fun, yet disciplined environment in which our students can develop skills in dance,acro and musical theatre. Our vision is to offer the highest standard of training possible to children from as young as 2 and half years old to 18. Our team of wonderful teachers will endeavour to use their combined experience, both as teachers and industry professionals, to help produce fun, progressive and inspiring lessons where the children will learn not just performing arts but life skills as well. All of our teachers are fully qualified and have worked in the entertainment arena as professionals in dance, choreography, musical theatre, Acro, film and TV. We offer classes in Tap, Ballet, Modern Jazz, Theatre Craft, Commercial, Acro, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Boys Street Dance, Competative classes and Private lessons. We follow the IDTA, RAD and ACROBATIC ARTS syllabus. We pride ourselves in having a 100% pass rate for our IDTA and RAD examinations, with a large majority passing with Distinction/Honours Confidance instructs and inspires individuals to excel in dance, singing and acting. Our focus is on building strong confident and technical all-round performers, while encouraging a positive and comfortable atmosphere in class as well as giving our students opportunities to gain experience in shows, competitions master classes and events with high production values.

Gorsefield Primary School is a large, urban community primary school, serving the area of Radcliffe (Bury, Manchester). The school was sponsored by Forward as One CE Academy Trust in April 2015. Gorsefield’s mission is to INSPIRE, CHALLENGE, EXCEL: to inspire and challenge all children and adults to excel in everything they do. The two-form entry school is situated in an area of very high deprivation, so children enter the school with very low socio-economic status and significant life challenges to be overcome. Mobility is extremely high. There are currently 23 different languages spoken at Gorsefield. The proportion of pupils who are disadvantaged is significantly higher than the national average, as is the proportion of pupils with an education, health and care plan (EHCP). The school is a UNICEF Rights Respecting (Silver) school. Gorsefield Primary School provides an environment in which all children and adults, including the community, are able to flourish socially, emotionally and academically. As a school, we make no assumptions when children enter our school. We just set the ambition.’ Thus setting all children up to succeed. At Gorsefield Primary School, we: Foster an ethos which is supportive of all members of the school community irrespective of ability, gender, ethnic or social background and which ensures that all feel valued, cared for and secure in order to inspire and challenge all children and adults to excel in everything they do. Promote collaboration with parents and the wider community to enable us to provide the best possible social, academic and cultural development for our learners. Whilst the curriculum has been built to meet the needs of the children, we also recognise that our community can be also be supported too. Founded by Cliff Bura in 2008, Diesel Gym was born in an area steeped in a rich combat sports history – London’s East End. Throughout its existence it has prided itself in developing international competitors and champions across all of disciplines its practices – true “school of excellence”. From its Muay Thai practice which grew from the legendary Grandmaster Sken’s Sitnarong camp to Eddie Bravo’s world famous 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu system (a no-gi specific grappling system designed specifically for MMA and utilised consistently by many competitors in promotions such as the UFC, Bellator and ONE Championship). Its wrestling practice and system is one Diesel has developed throughout the years to succeed in the MMA arena. All our Martial Arts practices are supported by Excel Strength & Conditioning who are there to build and maintain strong healthy athletes. While Physical Defence Physiotherapy are there as our inhouse physiotherapy support to bring members back to full fitness when needed. Despite Diesel’s long and successful competitive history, the majority of its members train for purely fitness, self defence or personal development reasons. Complete beginners are welcomed and nurtured as importantly as its professional athletes in a true community spirit. In 2019, Diesel Gym became a non-profit organisation, investing profits back in to its own community projects in Newham in areas such as sports for all, mental health wellbeing and youth crime.
