Musical Buds CIC runs a community outreach project at North Fawdon Primary
School, Newcastle upon Tyne. This provides quality Suzuki Recorder / Piano
lessons to children who would otherwise not have the opportunity to learn an
instrument, due to financial and cultural barriers. Picture Musical Buds
students Bursary paired lessons for a limited number of students who receive
Free School Meals. This bursary project has begun with 10 students in year 3/4.
They are keen to learn and it is highly beneficial to share the gift of music
with more of our community. This is reliant on donations, so contributions are
needed to sustain and extend this project. Other students at North Fawdon
Primary School can book weekly half-hour lessons in school on Wednesdays:
Individual lessons - £93 per half term Paired lessons - £46.50 per half term
Fees are paid monthly/termly.
