Welcome to DRS talent. We are a talent agency based in Berkshire representing children and teenagers for West End Shows, Music Videos, Commercials, TV and film and much more. All our children and teenagers on our books are current or former students of Dance Reality Studios therefore we know their training is excellent and we know the children really well so we can always put the best possible person forward to fit clients criteria. DRS have been providing dancers and performers for corporate events, Christmas parties, summer seasons since 1999. It has been training children at its studios since 2006 in all forms of dance, drama and singing and we have some exceptionally talented students. Professional but Personal...Steve has been a passionate SCUBA diver since completing his PADI Open Water course with Fins Watersports, Hull in 1996, predominantly diving UK waters for the next 8 years. In 2004 Steve was posted to Cyprus with the British Army where he completed his PADI Advanced Open Water course with Alpha Divers, Larnaca. Whilst based in Cyprus Steve owned his own boat and extensively explored and dived the coastline of Eastern Cyprus and fell in love with the MS Zenobia Shipwreck. Steve qualified as a PADI Rescue Diver with Seastyle Divers, Worcester in 2011 and decided at this point that he wanted to become a PADI professional. Prior to retiring from the Military in January 2017, following an extremely eclectic 22-year career. Steve completed his PADI Open Water SCUBA Instructors course with Coral Bay Divers, Paphos in September 2016. Following retirement from the Military Steve then spent the summer season of 2017 as an Instructor for Coral Bay Divers and qualified as a Master SCUBA Diver Trainer in September 2017.

Leadenham hockey club started in 2004 on a 5a-side football pitch in Leadenham. Now we are fielding 2 mens teams, 1 ladies team, several junior sides, an indoor mens team, and multiple mixed teams for competitions and tournaments. Players can start at the age of seven and we have yet to find a maximum age! Players come from all over the county, especially Sleaford, Grantham and the RAF bases. For the start of the 2019/2020 season Leadenham have moved training from RAF Cranwell back to the astro at Leadenham Village Hall, whilst we await lighting repairs at the RAF base. We pride ourselves on offering a friendly and relaxed environment to enjoy playing hockey, developing skills and meeting new friends. There are many parents who, after watching their children come through the junior section, now take to the field on a Saturday alongside their kids in the senior teams. We are always welcoming of new players and any members who want to get involved with the running of the club so please get in touch if you would like to try playing, or helping out! During the summer months Leadenham are one of the most active clubs in the area, competing in various leagues and tournaments throughout the off-season. Whether it’s relaxed social sixes or competitive mixed tournaments you’ll find a range of hockey to suit your abilities. We also proudly boast to be the only team from Lincolnshire to regularly compete in the East Indoor Championships!

ACT Drama School attracts students of all ages and walks of life and enables people to realistically achieve their ambition of a career as an actor in the performing arts. Classes are in the evenings and at weekends so that students can continue to meet their working and/or domestic commitments whilst re-training. Affordable Training ACT Drama School runs on a non profit making basis so we can offer quality training at affordable rates.   Our ethos is to provide access to professional Drama Training for talented individuals who have been unable to follow traditional routes into the acting profession through lack of academic qualifications, financial restrictions or family responsibilities.   ATCL Two Year Diploma in Acting One Year Foundation in Acting Two Week Acting Workshop Short Courses is Acting, Screen Acting, Playwriting and Summer Schools. Students must be 18+ to apply to the Diploma and 16+ for the Foundation and all other adult courses. There is no upper age limit.   ACT Kids Theatre offers acting classes for children and young people from 6 to 18. We are also the home to our 50 seater Lantern Theatre with it's own Cafe/Bar on 77 St James's Street, Brighton. The ACT team is comprised of highly experienced, passionate and dedicated actors and directors. They bring their own current professional practice into the classroom, relish the opportunity to nurture new talent and are committed to creating a safe, supportive and inspiring creative environment.   ACT tutors are currently working at the National Theatre, the Lyric, the Globe, the RSC and the BBC. Similarly ACT graduates are to be found working on National and European tours, on BBC television and Radio, Independent Films, TIE tours and so on.

We became an independent non-profit from 1 April 2011. These days our main activities include the annual summer school, our simple action days, and training. We are a registered charity (number 1154741). The trustees are Rob Waller, Alan Wells OBE (founder of the Basic Skills Agency) and Clive Richards (Emeritus Professor at Birmingham City University).

White-water canoeing had always been a part of Viking’s programme and was especially popular when Viking embarked on its three-week expedition to the French Alps or Austria. Then one summer a member returned from university telling us about a strange five a side game to which he had been introduced called Canoe Polo. Somehow the Unit was talked into trying out the sport, and it stuck. For the following 20 years, virtually all those who represented Viking, were members of the Venture Scout Unit. Today, although retaining links to the 73rd Derby Scout group, the club is a member of the B.C.U. in its own right

NEW TEACHER TRAINING AT VALLEKILDE // Almost every fifth employee in the primary school is not qualified as a teacher, and according to an analysis by the Danish Professional Colleges, there will be a shortage of 13,000 trained teachers in seven years. "I think that universities must do everything they can to solve and contribute to societal tasks, and this is one of the important ones." This is what our principal Torben Smidt Hansen says about the new idea of training teachers at Vallekilde Højskole. From the summer of 2024, the idea is that 30 student teachers can take the first year of their education here at Vallekilde Højskole.
