We have received a number of national awards not only for our academic success, but also for our success in the field of music education. Recent honours include 4 national awards for progress and attainment at GCSE and A level, placing our results in the top 20% of schools nationally, and a local award for achieving the best results for disadvantaged children in Milton Keynes. Additionally, the school’s Sixth Form regularly achieves the highest proportion of the top A*/B grades in the region. We endeavour to remain in the top 20% of school’s nationally in everything we do. We are one of the most established First Aid Instructor Training organisations in the UK and we have had the pleasure of teaching thousands of people to teach first aid, for businesses who want to train employees to teach first aid in their workplace and for individuals who want a career in teaching first aid or want to start their own successful first aid business. ITG have been helping people like you, to deliver training in their chosen subject or to take on an assessor role for many years. All of the teaching awards and assessing qualifications are regulated qualifications delivered through Training Qualifications UK, which is an Ofqual regulated Awarding Organisation. This means that you can be confident that you will receive a fully recognised and accepted qualification upon successful completion of your course. Whichever qualification you need, when you train with us, you can be confident that you will gain the knowledge and qualifications you need to become a professional and confident trainer or assessor. Our classroom courses are held at our spacious training centre in Colchester. If you have a group of employees we can send one of our professional trainers to deliver the training on-site at your premises. We also offer a range of Health and Safety qualifications including IOSH Managing Safely and a range of more advanced CPR and First Responder qualifications. Flexible Training Where it is possible we offer virtual, online and distance courses. Some courses do require face to face training and we offer blended training options to help reduce the time you need to spend in the classroom helping to reduce time away from home or work.

I feel very privileged to be the Headteacher for the West T PeacockBridgford School. It is a school with an excellent academic reputation; we have consistently been the highest performing school in the county for many years in a range of important measures and one of the best schools in the country. Safeguarding is at the heart of our work in school; we recognise that students who do not feel safe and secure are not able to thrive and achieve. Our students feel safe in school, we are a very caring school and pride ourselves on having a strong and highly competent pastoral team. Each year group is led by a teacher in the post of Year Director, supported by a non-teaching Pastoral Assistant who are always on hand to support the students in our care. As a school we do not shy away from difficult conversations with our students and have a lot of experience in doing this. Ursuline High School, Wimbledon is a voluntary-aided, comprehensive high school for Roman Catholic girls from 11-18. Under the Trusteeship of the Catholic Archdiocese of Southwark. St Angela Merici Feast Day: 27 January. The school has moved through several phases during its history... The Ursulines were founded by St Angela Merici who lived in Italy in the 16th century. St Angela was born around 1475 in Desenzano on the shores of Lake Garda in Northern Italy. She was left an orphan in early life and spent several of her early years at Salo with her uncle. She acted as an advisor to the rich and influential and was known for her ability to reconcile those with differences. She was a ready helper of the poor and needy and she took a foremost place in what was very much a man's world. She moved to Brescia - the scene of her main work and where she eventually founded her company. On the 25th November 1535 St Angela founded the company of St Ursula, putting the company under the patronage of this early English saint, who was popular in the middle ages as the Patroness of learning. This was a particularly appropriate choice, as it reflected her concerns for the development and fulfilment of women. Her companions lived in their own homes but were consecrated to a life of poverty and virginity. After St Angela's death in 1540 her company became involved in evangelisation especially through education. Many branches of St Angela's company flourished and spread. There are many ways in which St Angela had a lasting effect on the company she founded and on the Church. Like St Paul she made herself all things to all people for the sake of the Gospel to bring all people to Christ. In her writings there is a great emphasis on prayer and all through her life St Angela was known as a woman of prayer. She also made a clear stand against the luxury of the world around her. She emphasized true poverty of spirit and trust in God alone. St Angela was also an educator in the widest sense of the word and in particular in the Christian context of leading people to find Christ in the circumstances of their lives.
