We have 75+ climbs ranging from V0 to V8+ in our bouldering floor, as well as an entire archway dedicated to climbing training and gym equipment. At Blocfit we are also dedicated to and embrace those who wants to improve their technique or train for their climbing goals. Our skilled Blocfit staff can personalise a training plan for you, or alternatively one of our expert team can offer one to one technique coaching. We also regularly host specialist workshops, classes and courses run by leading international level experts from the climbing world. A picturesque 18 hole par 72 Championship golf course, we’re located in Hollywood Drive, Lansvale New South Wales. The golf course is unique in that it has been designed and built on the peninsula formed by the Georges River and Prospect Creek, set on the banks of the Chipping Norton Lake. Quiet and secluded, you’ll enjoy the tranquil setting, so much so that you’ll find it hard to believe that you’re actually in the middle of Western Sydney! The golf course makes for an excellent test of skills both for the professional and amateur golfer. With a length of over 6300 meters, water comes into play on 14 holes, so shot selection is important and you’ll be rewarded for strategic shot placement along with many risk and reward opportunities. We provide and host an array of golf lessons for juniors on our golf course, which include beginners golf lessons to advanced. With multiple levels to participate in, our golf lessons are some of the most unique, challenging and advanced in Sydney. The exquisite golf course settings at Liverpool Golf Club has allowed us to host many prestigious events, including the Australian PGA, the NSW Open in 2006 and 2007 and has been a qualifying venue for the Australian Open for the past 10 years. AQUAnimals founder Shirley Rush started the swim school back in 2015. The swim school was hiring private pools around South Norfolk and welcomed her sister Katie to offer more lessons but found more and more that availability was limited, pools varied in cost, depth/temperature/parking availability etc yet our demand was incredibly high. In 2017 we decided to start looking for another venue that could occupy a modern, fresh swim school. We found Rookery Business Park just a mile outside Attleborough. Not only were these new well insulated buildings with solar panels supplying power, it has easy access to the A11 and pretty central for most of our existing clients. Shirley drew a sketch of the layout she felt would work and architects brought it to life in literally an hour & a half! With plans in hand and a leap of faith we applied to Breckland Council and we were a step closer to freedom! Planning permission was granted just 5 weeks after submission and 3 days later we were in the building marking the floors with what would be our changing rooms & showers! Our very own premises, state of the art pool, purpose built and all brand new. We worked really hard and were so excited to be bring lessons to life on 18th September 2017. Three months after sitting with the architect. We’ve expanded hugely since 2017; a 400% increase in numbers, we now have 7 instructors teaching 7 days a week, we provide the curriculum swimming lesson provision for four local schools, became an approved Training Centre so we can host courses & CPDs, hire the pool privately for exclusive use, holiday courses etc. And we love it! The goal of the library is to collect and maintain these materials in trust for future generations. Our Local History includes the political, social and economic history of County Monaghan past and present. We also host a range of Genealogy records that can assist with the study of your family history. Many of these are available online but some, such as the Local Newspaper ‘The Northern Standard’ Obituaries have been compiled in-house and are only available to view in a Co. Monaghan Branch Library. You can however view the index to these Obituaries (see link below). The studio also benefits from a waiting area for parents / siblings etc. Lessons are student led and whether your goal is to learn your favourite songs, learn more about music, pass a graded exam or become a professional musician, we can help you achieve your goals. Tom has vast knowledge of both Trinity College syllabus’ as well as RSL (Rockschool) and has entered multiple students from debut grades all the way to 8, with a 100% pass rate. The studio is packed with drums, as well as many other tools which aid in learning. Students are often invited to various events and we host our own showcases at music venues in Newcastle, most recently at the Cluny, giving everyone the chance to show off their new skills.
