We are very excited to be offering you this workshop, a collective exploration into our womb consciousness through meditation and painting. You can expect an incredibly nurturing, held, loved and supported circle of sisterhood. We will have beautiful and powerful meditations guided by the wonderful Georgie Catling, Author, Creatrix and Womb Alchemist and the creator of the Yoni Oracle cards @yonioracle www.yonioraclecards.com Together we will create a painting from our womb consciousness on a huge piece of canvas on the floor, guided by Holly Woodnutt a visionary womb artist, transpersonal womb art therapist and menstruality mentor @sineadholly_wombportalstudio www.sineadhollywoodnutt.com You do not need any painting experience whatsoever, as you shall be guided throughout the process. It is truly incredible what happens when we paint this way! Carl Jung coined the phrase 'collective unconsciousness' to describe how we all connect to each other in many ways when we are in the same room. Inspired by this, and the results from womb painting and womb work, Holly has coined the phrase 'collective womb unconsciousness' to describe when we sit together how our wombs start to communicate. This is what we shall witness together when we paint and it is incredibly powerful in so many ways. At the end of the day the womb painting will be cut up and you shall all get a piece to take home with you, forever bonded and connected through the magnificence of our wombs.

We’ve been those teachers searching for a better way to approach things. CALM supports schools and all school staff to understand and address the root causes of behaviour that challenges using a whole-school, public health approach through our integrative practice model. This enables staff to make sense of challenging situations and to develop child-centred plans to prevent, avert, de-escalate and more safely manage crisis. Such approaches promote and protect the human rights of both children and staff.

Fast forward to now, we offer a range of education experiences for our members – all underpinned by Lifestyle and Functional Medicine principles – via our blogs, course partnerships, education partnerships and archived resources. Clinical Education is also proud to be an Education Partner of The Institute for Functional Medicine, by assisting with the organisation and regional expertise of IFM educational events streamed or in-person in the UK. After 30 years of association and involvement with the Functional Medicine Movement, Clinical Education is a regional hub for those that are looking to train in and apply Functional Medicine into their practice. Part of our work is engaging with Primary Healthcare Professionals working within the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK. We understand, that for many overworked, stressed GPs, the thought of making lifestyle medicine recommendations within a standard appointment time can feel daunting, Collaborating with co-creators Dr Panja and Dr Rangan Chatterjee, we created a unique learning opportunity in ‘Prescribing Lifestyle Medicine (PLM). PLM is a self-paced, interactive learning platform that allows Primary Care professionals to learn about how to implement Lifestyle Medicine into their consultations. The Old Bristolians’ Society exists to allow former pupils and staff to maintain contact with other Old Bristolians, and through the Society allow them to support the work of the School. The Society is a separate body from the School and is run almost exclusively by volunteers. The President holds office for a year: other officers and members of the Management Committee are chosen by election and normally stay in office for a longer period. We are always keen to recruit new faces on to the Committee or hear from Old Bristolians prepared to help with the running of events. In particular, we seek more involvement from young Old Bristolians, especially females, in order to reflect the co-educational status of the School. The BGS Foundation aims to bring long-term additional income to the School through charitable giving. This enables the wider BGS family to give something back so that the next generation of children can benefit from extra resources, facilities and bursaries which could not otherwise be afforded from fee income alone. Support comes from parents, former parents, staff and Governors, Old Bristolians, charitable trusts and foundations which makes a genuine difference to the life of our school. The Old Bristolians’ & Foundation Office would be delighted to hear from anyone willing to serve on the Committee or to participate in some other way. In addition, the views of Old Bristolians as to the type of event/activities the Society should be providing are also welcomed.
