We hope you find the site informative and easy to use. We aim to bring you all the latest news, events and important information regarding Nottingham Education Alternative Provision - Maths and English specialists. Our Vision Nottingham Education was founded in 2017, with the main purpose of providing holistic, nurturing and exceptional education to re-engage learners who are unable to access mainstream education. At Nottingham Education we understand that all our learners have been on a personal journey through education which at times may have been turbulent, leaving them feeling vulnerable and disengaged. Therefore, we work closely with our commissioners, students and parents to ensure flexible, individualised educational intervention where students feel valued and able to succeed. Ultimately, we want our students to reintegrate into suitable long-term education, training or employment. When they move on from Nottingham Education, we want our students to feel a sense of pride and achievement, knowing they are valued and understood. Nottingham Education Mission Statement **Our mission is to work in partnership with parents and carers to provide high quality education for all our young people.** **Inspiring young people to achieve their full potential academically and socially in a range of extracurricular activities.** **Helping young people to respect themselves and the community they are in.** **Practising core moral values and helping those in need, within our community and society as a whole.**

Who We Are & Where We Are High Peak School is part of the Kedleston Group and opened in 2014.Our specialist multi-disciplinary team of leaders, carers, therapists and educationalists work seamlessly together. They teach and proactively support pupils who have been subjected to adverse childhood experiences, including trauma, toxic stress and associated mental wellbeing difficulties, aiming to break the cycle of adversity. Children and young people may also come to us because they are challenged by attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, dyslexia, and dyspraxia or moderate and specific learning difficulties. We have a specific provision within the school called the Quiet Learning Zone where we support children and young people who have an autistic spectrum condition including Asperger’s syndrome and those who have communication and sensory difficulties. The environment and teaching approaches are bespoke and tailored to ensure our children and young people thrive and can develop their self-esteem. We have extensive experience of supporting those with attachment disorders or those who have been victims of abuse and neglect. We actively encourage the development of life skills such as staying safe, acting responsibly and being respectful whether that be at school, at home or in the local community. From our beautiful rural location in Cheshire, we offer a unique setting having been converted from a hotel to create innovative and inspiring learning, social, recreational and living spaces.

East Sussex,

On behalf of the Governing Body, we are delighted to welcome you to Hove Park School – a true community school where ‘together we achieve’. The Governors at Hove Park are a group of committed and passionate volunteers that support and challenge the school to ensure all students can achieve the best possible educational outcomes. Our Governing Body encompasses a variety of skills, backgrounds and experiences, together with a diversity of view, in order to carry out our key responsibilities. Our role is to be the strategic leaders of the school and we have a vital role to play in making sure every child gets the best possible education within a safe, stimulating and highly positive environment. To ensure effective governance we focus on three core strategic functions: Ensuring clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction. Holding the Headteacher to account for the educational performance of the school and it’s students , and the effective and efficient performance management of the staff. Overseeing the financial performance of the school and making sure its money is well spent. You can read more about how governors work to lead schools effectively on the National Governance Association’s website. At Hove Park, we recognise the key role that the whole community, particularly parents and carers, play in developing a successful school where students learn and develop to their full potential. We work collaboratively with the local authority, as well as our partner secondary and primary schools and their governors across Brighton & Hove.
