This has led to deep personal, cultural and ecological trauma. My work focuses on healing, integrating and embodying the earth, body, spirit continuum so we might become re-enchanted with ourselves, create caring communities and love the land we live in. My healing and therapy practice, training courses, retreats, photography and books offer a variety of ways to access healing, personal growth and ecospiritual evolution - supporting people to move towards wholeness and heal the planet.

I worked most of my life in the accounting sector, and at the same time, I wanted to do business on a part-time basis. Eventually, as a result, I became an affiliate marketer and an accounting company at the start. I worked in the accounting sector for a long time; maybe I became tired of looking at the figures, so I wanted to change my career. Therefore, I set up two websites, one for selling affiliate products mainly from amazon and the other one for accounting. People say to concentre on one project until you succeed and then think about other projects. I cannot remember the exact reason for starting to write eBooks and books ultimately ended up creating online courses

What started out as a shared passion project, has grown organically from side-hustle to a business with a team of 18 located in London. A love of fragrance and a desire to build something of our own led us to develop our own line of home fragrance products, which has since expanded from just three candles to a line that encompasses, candles, incense, home mists and bath and body products, all of which are produced by us in London. As a young adult, my passion for the perfect pieces of jewellery for me saw me travelling to craft fairs and designer shows in the search for something just right. I rarely found what I wanted. In 1999, whilst I was a teacher of biology, I attended a local jewellery making evening class with the intention of making the collections that I really wanted to wear. That was the start of everything you will see on this site. My love affair with jewellery blossomed and I was inspired by that first evening to enroll on short specialist courses and I started to read books...lots and lots of books! I started to make and sell my jewellery on a part time basis, whilst still teaching. In 2002, I made two moves: I moved with my husband, two young children and labrador dog to the Cambridgeshire countryside whilst at the same time moving out of teaching and into making and selling my jewellery full time. From those beginnings, I'm proud to say that that I continue to personally design all the collections in the KFD Jewellery range, and they are all hand crafted in my Cambridgeshire workshop. For the past 20 plus years I've pursued my dream and passion of creating beautiful and elegant handcrafted jewellery that ladies love. My wish is that every piece of jewellery I've created helps you feel unique, sophisticated and stylish whenever you wear it. My more recent collection are infused with meaning as well as looking beautiful. Jewellery that resonates with you is more likely to be jewellery that feels authentically you.

The Doncaster Book Award strives to promote reading for pleasure among our young people, in order to create a positive attitude towards books and reading and to extend reading choices. This will, in turn, lead to improved literacy levels, better educational outcomes and thus improve future economic prospects for Doncaster’s children. We also strive to provide children with opportunities for new and exciting experiences based around books and reading, to encourage positive social interaction between young people from all parts of the Borough and thus help make Doncaster a thriving reading community. All About Us The Doncaster Book Award (DBA) is a not-for-profit Social Enterprise Company Limited by Guarantee. It is run by a committee of five volunteers who give their time free of charge. We are fully inclusive and all our events and activities are open to everyone and free to attend. ALL of the funding generated goes to cover running costs and provide our young people with fun and exciting reading-based activities. We are now into our 14th year of operation and have gone from 13 schools in our first year to over 75 in 2018. The DBA is unique in that it is entirely child-led; the website, logo and slogan have all been originally designed by the young people of Doncaster; they also choose the books on our lists, and they vote for the shortlist and winner each year. No adult gets a say! Our website is designed to give children a voice about what they are reading via our Reviews page and to showcase their activities. We are developing this idea further by providing slots for our young people on our monthly radio show and podcast on Sine FM. We provide an exciting and varied programme of events, activities and competitions that keep the profile of reading high, generate enthusiasm and the idea that reading is fun. These have been extremely varied and have included: visits from hugely popular authors such as Cressida Cowell, Andy Cope, Darren Shan, Simon Mayo, Cathy Cassidy and many more illustrator talks and workshops from artists including Chris Riddell, Viviane Schwarz, Liz Million, Chris Mould and Martin Brown Drama and Dance workshops working with a local theatre company, Talegate Theatre Vlogging workshops Poetry slams Ceramics workshops Sports-themed events ... the list goes on!
