Clare Burdell Fitness Nottingham

I believe that fitness classes should be both effective and enjoyable! You should see results in both your physical and mental health and have fun while you’re exercising and really look forward to your next class. I have been working in he fitness industry for about 12 years and have experience teaching fitness in leisure centres, gyms, schools, care homes and village halls. I am passionate about what I do; I love how exercise makes me feel physically and mentally and I really enjoy sharing this and helping my participants to achieve their fitness goals, whatever they may be. I am qualified in a range of fitness options including Exercise to Music, Gym Instructing, Indoor Cycling, Zumba, Zumba Gold, Aqua Zumba, Kid’s Zumba, Kettlebells, Fitness Pilates, Fitness Pilates for older adults, Level 3 Pilates, Pilates for Orthopaedic Conditions, Chair Based Exercise, BuggyBeat and Children’s Fitness. I love taking new fitness courses and believe passionately that, as fitness professionals, it is important to keep things fresh and continue to learn and update our knowledge and skills, to provide quality fitness experiences for participants. The vast majority of the classes I teach are now online. I love the flexibility this brings my participants and it's the perfect place to bring creativity into my classes. Not hiring halls, means that I can keep costs low for participants and offer a wide range of classes for excellent value for money. I am currently teaching the following classes online: HIIT, Strong Nation, Lift Lean, Fitness Pilates and Zumba Gold. I also teach a weekly bonus class, which could be any sort of class from aerobics to stretch. I also have ready made packages on offer, including a "Wonder Women's Wellness" package for peri and post menopausal women and a package of classes, designed just for beginners. For those looking for a face to face class, my current classes are Pilates at Woodborough Village Hall and LIFE (Low Impact Fitness for Everyone) at Pond Hills Community Centre. These are available in block bookings on a half termly basis. Please message me on 07718787491 or look on my Facebook page to find further details. To book on any of my online programmes, please click on Membership Options at the top of this page. To book onto a face to face class, please click Book Live Classes at the top of this page. The campus gives us a university feel and allows students to concentrate on their studies and to make the very best use of our superb academic facilities. The two years of study post 16 are the most important of any to date in a young person’s educational journey. Post 16 courses remain a benchmark qualification. When students arrive with us in September each year it is my expectation that they will work hard from day one in order to fulfil the demands of their courses. The support both in and out of the classroom is exemplary and providing the partnership between student, College and home are right then they will be successful with us and achieve highly at the end of the two year programme. We provide all our students with the best opportunity to achieve the highest possible examination grades as well as to develop spiritually and personally. We are a confidently Catholic institution, clear in our beliefs and values and the importance of Jesus Christ in our daily lives. We are also welcoming of other faith groups and believe that our diverse faith community is enriching and makes us the very distinctive community that we are. We give priority to students from our two partner schools, Salvatorian College and Sacred Heart Language College. We then offer places to Catholics from the local area and to other faith groups who wish to pursue their sixth form education in a Christian context and who will support the ethos and mission of our College. It is a tremendous privilege to lead this community. Our students are hard-working, dedicated and ambitious for their futures and my staff team are wholly committed to achieving excellence for every one of our young people with whom they work each day.

Oxford Learning College

All the courses offered by Oxford Learning College are distance learning courses. That is to say, we do not have college premises for students to attend and all courses are accessed online. We offer distance learning courses online from Level 2 Diplomas and GCSEs through to Level 7 Diplomas and foundation degrees. Oxford Learning College is a registered educational institution and is an independent, self-financing organisation. Oxford Learning College has developed quality, flexible and open distance learning materials for adults and continues to invest in the development of innovative learning systems, from first levels to degree and professional training programmes. Oxford Learning College works in conjunction with other institutions to provide students with the most comprehensive learning materials and support them in fulfilling their academic aims. Oxford Learning College offers students a flexible approach to learning which makes education possible for those who may otherwise not be able to complete a programme due to geographical restrictions and/or work or home-life commitments. It also benefits those who prefer to be in control of their studies. Please read the full course description and time-scales for each course. About Distance Learning Distance learning in the past used to involve sending coursework and assignments by post to a college and waiting for a tutor to respond with feedback by return post. Now students use our online learning environment to access the course study materials and to contact their tutor. All correspondence is online, so you don’t need to worry about delays and can access your tutor or materials anywhere in the world – at any time. Studying via distance learning – whether for an A Level in Biology, a BTEC in Business Studies or a Level 3 Diploma in Counselling – gives students flexibility. We do not set homework deadlines or issue class timetables, so you can study in your own time, when it suits you. Distance learning requires students to be self motivated, which will help lead you to fantastic grades. Our student services team and tutors offer support and guidance throughout the course, and new students are given their study materials and helpful documents as soon as they enrol. You could enrol today and be starting your studies by this evening! Tutor Support Our tutors are available online to answer student queries and to mark assignments, thus offering high levels of support and guidance throughout the course. Our Student Services department team are also here to answer calls and emails from current and potential students. In this way you can feel supported every step of the way. Whether you are accustomed to distance learning or are considering it for the first time, talk to us today for advice about any of our distance learning courses.
