Dr. Steve Wolf, Ph.D. is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PSY 10230), in private practice in West Los Angeles. After teaching Anger Management for five years, he was recognized as having diplomate status with the National Anger Management Association (NAMA) in 2005; which he currently holds. He has been an innovator throughout his professional career. He co-directed New York City’s first Prison Therapeutic Community Program in Rikers Island Prison’s Psychiatric Ward in 1973 and directed Rikers’ first Therapeutic Community Drug Program for the general prison population in 1974. He directed a Day Treatment Center in Litchfield Connecticut, volunteered with the L.A. Sheriff’s Department to co-create Project Turnaround, an Acupuncture Detox program on L.A.’s skid row. He co-created an alternative middle school in Topanga, CA, co-authored “Romancing the Shadow: A Guide to Soul Work for a Vital Authentic Life” (Ballantine, 1997, translated into six languages), and developed “The Village Circle Project”: leaderless groups for self-exploration. He consulted as a Co-Occurring Disorders therapist in Los Angeles working with men coming directly from prison, jail or the street for five years. In 2006, he authored the “Taming Your Anger” series of English and Spanish workbooks, DVD’s, C.D.’s and workshops. He recently taught the Taming Your Anger/Emotional Intelligence Method to at-risk teens and has produced a documentary film of that program. In 2010. he founded the Wolf Training Institute, which serves as the umbrella for all the programs in development. This is where the practitioners are certified to teach and coach the Taming Your Anger, Taming Your Anxiety and CouplezWork Programs. The Taming Your Anger Program is recognized by the National Anger Management Association. In 2012, he produced the documentary, Remedy 4 Rage; the story of one alternative high school group and their journey into exploring their own emotions. In 2014, he began to host the weekly “Shrink Different Radio Show” on the TFOK Network. He has interviewed celebrities and regular people who have interesting lives. The show is about people and their passions. He maintains a therapy practice, working with adults and couples in West Los Angeles. The next book is on the evolving couple and is scheduled to be released in early 2020.

It happened that he shared the office at SHU with Dr Stephen May the author of McKenzie Text Books and a remarkable researcher, in a cloudy morning in the winter of 2006 at the Cafe area in Robert Winston Building of SHU ,Mahmoud has invited Dr May to visit Cairo-Egypt to present a short introductory workshop to the McKenzie concept. the rest is history. Vision and Mission: The vision was not difficult to set, at that time, continuous professional Development in the Middle East was a new concept, where many physios were happy with hot packs, US and Exercise protocols. Therefore, stage one of our mission was to introduce all the well known concepts/schools/school of thoughts was number one priority. Between 2006 to 2011 Primephysio collaborated with McKenzie Institute International, International Bobath Tutor Training Association, Orthopaedic Medicine Belgium, British Bobath tutors association , Mulligan tutors association to run many training courses in Cairo - Egypt and Amman-Jordan and Sheffield.UK.This was stage one. Stage 2 started in 2011. We wanted to send a clear message, it is not about single concept or approach it is about a logically balanced and blended approach where all concepts are considered for the right patient on the right time. Many experienced clinicians and Academic mainly from the UK , most of them were SHU senior teaching staff, were part of this Journey. Darleen is an Empowerment Coach, with qualifications in Professional Life Coaching and Hypnosis, as well as years of experience as a safe space facilitator. She is also constantly focusing on broadening her knowledge in many different areas. Making her incredibly resourceful when working with clients. She was born in Germany but raised in Portugal for most of her childhood. At 18 years of age, she took a leap and moved to the UK in the hope to find purpose as she had always felt out of place. At the time, she didn't know where she was headed or what for, all she knew was that her intuition was telling her to jump... Seven years have passed since the day she set foot in England. Since then, she has moved 7 times and explored many different career paths. It has been a roller coaster, but one worth going on. Darleen always felt drawn to spirituality but was afraid of being seen as crazy. So one of her first spiritual eye-openers was a book called The Celestine Prophecy, by James Redfield. From then on, small and big encounters have shaped her beliefs and shown her that she was not alone on this journey. When she attended her first Women's Circle in 2019 (held by Ella Grace Denton), all the judgment, competition and fear she had felt towards and from other women in her life was replaced by love, respect and compassion. It made her feel so abundant and helped her realise that we are all one and that we do not have to go on this journey by ourselves. The moment she arrived home that day, she knew it was something she would love to facilitate for others, as she always wanted to help people. After months of avoiding her intuition (as we are conditioned to do) she finally gave in, looked past the fear of judgment and began to hold space for others. She also began to coach people, as well as share all the knowledge that life has given her via Instagram. Now she has fully committed to her calling, aiming to help her soul clients in every way possible.

Hi, I’m Alison and I’m absolutely delighted to welcome you to Little Bees with Alison! Little Bees is founded and run by me, a mum of two and a primary school teacher of over 16 years, with a huge passion for Early Years Development. During my teaching career, I have specialised in and led Additional Learning Needs and Foundation Phase across the school. I was also identified as an ‘Outstanding Teacher’ and was one of only 8 teachers to be selected across SE Wales to particpate in an ‘Outstanding Teachers’ Programme. After a long battle with infertility, I finally achieved my dream of becoming a Mummy when Joseph was born in 2016. Three years later, we completed our family with Charlotte. I absolutely love teaching and have often thought about other ways I could use my skills whilst also having a positive impact on my local community. I had noticed firsthand the lack of groups for new parents in my local area and the idea of Little Bees started. Having experienced the impact massage had on my own little ones and our bonding, this was something I was excited to share with other new parents and carers. In 2019, I trained with Hands on Babies, the first UK baby massage and baby yoga training organisation to have received accreditation from the Royal College of Midwives for its courses. I enjoyed the massage course so much that upon gaining accreditation, I immediately set to work on completing the lovely yoga course! My mission with ‘Little Bees with Alison’ is to offer friendly and relaxing classes for all parents and carers in a supportive and non-competitive environment within their local community. As a new Mum, I was desperate to not only do lovely activities with my baby, but I was also keen to make new friends. This is exactly what I want to bring to my community with ‘Little Bees’. I completely understand the challenges new parents are going through and thought of supporting them brings me great joy. I am fully insured, DBS checked and have completed training to enable my classes to be ‘Covid-secure.’

My teenage years... IMG_20200922_093644_1.jpg were spent hanging out in the school art department (regardless of what class I was supposed to be in!) and it was there that Mr Alston, my wonderful art teacher directed and nurtured my love of art. Studying Art & Design and then Illustration, was a great foundation to my art career and helped me refine my skills as an artist. But as a naïve graduate, passionately producing illustrations and trying to make it in the freelance world - I soon realised it was going to be more difficult that I thought! I'd been working in Children's Services for 15 years running Youth Participation Projects, managing a Gypsy Roma Traveller Project and delivering a provision of services for the most hard to reach communities. This provided me with the most amazing experiences, as well as allowing me to use my art to benefit these groups. It's been a wonderful journey of learning and a fantastic platform in which to build my business. In 2016 I decided it was time to give up the office job and focus all my time on my community art work. It's been a brilliant time and I'm delighted that I still have daily experiences of working with such amazing people, from our wonderfully interesting communities. I hope that even if it's just in some little way, I am able to make a difference to the lives of those that I work with, through the medium of visual art. Audrey But freelancing for a few years whilst volunteering in the community, opened many new doors and ideas of what I could do with my visual arts. I went on to complete a degree in Community Arts and continued to work with community groups. This is where my love of creating art in the community became well and truly set. My passion for mural painting was formed following the completion of two large scale mural commissions in Scotland. Then with London calling, I completed my next 30 metre indoor mural at a special needs adventure playground in Hackney. In 2007 I was introduced to the medium of mosaic and I just completely fell in love with it!

Magenta Occupational Therapy is an independent occupational therapy practice based in the West Midlands, owned and operated by Louise Baudet. Louise graduated with a first class Honours degree in Occupational Therapy, with a special interest in working with children and young adults with a wide range of mental health difficulties, as well as neurological difficulties. She has worked extensively with children with special needs providing assessments and interventions, as well as reports for EHCP's, DLA/PIP applications etc. Her career includes working for the NHS, as well as the private sector, third tier organisations and also education. She has worked as an Occupational Therapist in both mental health and paediatrics. She continues to do voluntary work to support children and families. Louise has also been a School Governor and worked within education, bringing a knowledgeable perspective to her work when working with schools. She understands many of the challenges and perspectives faced by children, young people and families on a day to day basis. When working with families she advocates a strengths based approach through her work, to ensure that a childs' positive qualities are used as a firm foundation for their future.

After his degree, he worked as a teacher of Science in Blackheath Bluecoat C of E School, also became deputy of the department. Dr Ajeleti undertook his teacher training at Canterbury Christ Church University, obtaining Qualified Teacher Status. He received the grade ‘outstanding’ for his role as a teacher, and this was recognised by Ofsted. During this time, he was still determined to pursue a career in medicine, graduating from the Medical University of Silesia, Katowice, Poland. Dr Ajeleti graduated at the top of his class and is currently training in the London Deanery. Raised in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, Dr Ajeleti has made it his duty to encourage young people to get involved in medicine and other healthcare professions. As the co-founder of Modern Day medics, he aims to help prospective medical students from BME backgrounds to reach their full potential. He was also a recipient of the Beany scholarship for the best final year OSCE result. In 2012, he was recognised as a one of the top 100 future leaders and at University, he sat on a number of society committees as well as co-founding Inspire the youth CIC. After medical school, he undertook his foundation training in Trent deanery and core medical training in South London. During his junior doctor training, he served as a regional representative for foundation doctors and he was a clinical guidance associate at one of his local hospitals. He is currently a gastroenterology trainee in Kent, Surrey & Sussex deanery where he sits on the board for the culture and leadership change team. He is extremely passionate about seeing young people achieve their potential and dreams and with Modern Day Medics, he plans to achieve this.
