My name is Anna Townley. I am an experienced KS3 English, Maths and Science,
GCSE science and A-level biology teacher and tutor with 12 years of teaching
experience in the UK and private one-to-one tuition. I am currently teaching at
a leading school in Bedfordshire having successfully retrained as a teacher
after gaining my PGCE in 2010. Leaving school after A-levels, I began a research
career working for Unilever Research. Throughout my 19 years of employment,
which included studying for my BSc (Hons) degree part-time, I worked in a range
of Research and Development groups- making speciality chemicals to be used for
skin whitening from microorganisms and identifying chemicals to be used in
deodorants that combat body malodour.
