I spent the early part of my career involved with commercial projects of varying size in the UK and overseas. More recently, I had the opportunity to indulge my true passion for old buildings whilst working with Donald Insall and Associates in the Chester and Shrewsbury branches. I relish the challenge of problem solving involved with manipulating existing buildings to accept new uses and love to see old buildings sitting harmoniously alongside modern extensions. Since then I have had the pleasure of working solely in the domestic sector and have a real passion for bringing well designed domestic projects to life. I enjoy delivering bespoke architectural solutions to smaller scale projects where I can provide the care and attention required to make a house a home. There is real joy in taking a Client through the design and build process to realise their dream home. My real ‘joie de vivre’ are transformative projects that look at the whole house to make the rooms and spaces flow and reveal a beautiful home where there may have stood an uninspiring building. I like to be as frugal with my Client’s budgets as possible and believe that good design shouldn’t cost a fortune. I hope that the projects I have show-cased on my website bring you inspiration for your own ongoing projects or perhaps confidence to start your own home transformation. Teach Perfect was founded in 2016 to provide high quality, affordable educational support for students at every stage of the standard national curriculum. Our goal is simple – we want children to reach higher, maximising their talents to achieve the best start in life. Her discipline is English and she has had a long career as Head of English in Ofsted-rated outstanding schools and academies. She is also an expert examiner for Edexcel marking Key Stage 2 SAT papers, for AQA marking the new GCSE specifications in English and for Edexcel marking English Language IGCSE papers. She is a Specialist Leader of Education in the Poole area, providing coaching support for English departments in other secondary schools. Her own teaching standards have been rated as outstanding. Sarah is supported by a professional team who also have the same drive to enable students to achieve beyond their own expectations. As Teach Perfect matures, we will add more subjects to our learning programme and more teaching professionals will join us.
