Mersea Island Watersports Our centre, based on the western side of Mersea at the waterfront. We have access to the water at all times giving you the opportunity to explore this unique location. All within a short distance you can explore the coastline, creeks and small islands.Our perfect positioning means we are very sheltered, making it the perfect place to learn water sports but close to the open water of the estuary for windsurfing and sailing.We offer SUP – Stand Up Paddleboarding, Kayaking, Windsurfing and Sailing.Providing rentals, tuition, parties & events, kids clubs and social sessions – you’d be hard not to find something that suits you!

hether you are a nervous beginner or have been driving for 20 years Castle Driving School can make you a better and safer driver. For those learning to drive we offer driving lessons in both manual and automatic cars. Lessons are booked weekly and pupils typically have 1.5 or 2 hour lessons. For those with the time and desire to pass quickly we offer our highly recommended and successful intensive driving courses that depending on your ability can mean you pass your driving test in just one week! Intensive driving courses (also known as fast track or crash courses as some driving schools ominously call them!) were first introduced to Colchester in 1991, by Castle Driving School and these years of experience enable us to deliver high pass rates time after time.
