You will be provided with comprehensive tutor support online through SBTL Support Desk portal. How will I get tutor support online? School of Business & Technology London occupies a centralised tutor support desk portal, through which our support team liaise with both tutors and learners to provide guidance, assessment feedback, and any other study support adequately and promptly. Once a learner raises a support request through the support desk portal (Be it for guidance, assessment feedback or any additional assistance), one of the support team members assign the relevant to request to an allocated tutor. As soon as the support receive a response from the allocated tutor, it will be made available to the learner in the portal. The support desk system is in place to assist the learners adequately and to streamline all the support process efficiently. Learners should expect to receive a response on queries like guidance and assistance within 1 - 2 working days. However, if the support request is for assessment feedback, learners will receive the reply with feedback as per the time frame outlined in the Assessment Feedback Policy.

Earth Day is coming up on April 22nd, and this year we're turning it into Earth Month! Join us throughout April for activities that support environmental protection. Let's all get involved and make a difference! We are holding a Biogen Recycle Day in the Dublin office (Citywest) on the 22nd April. Whether you're at the office or working from home, it’s easy to accumulate old or broken office equipment. That’s why we’ve dedicated April 22nd as our Recycle Day. What You Can Recycle: Paper (shredding available onsite) Ink Cartridges Small Batteries IT Accessories (e.g. mouse, keyboard, etc.) Date: April 22, 2025 Location: Dublin Office Time: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. We’ll have different bins set up for each category, so it’s easy to drop off your items. And don’t worry if you can't make it on April 22nd – you can still bring your recyclables to the office throughout the month of April! Adolescence: What have we learnt? In March 2025, the Netflix series Adolescence sparked widespread conversation about the hidden lives of young people, raising important questions about the support we provide to the youth in our care. Three months later, what have we learned? Regardless of how we engage with young people, there's valuable insight to be gained from this powerful story. We’d like to share the key takeaways and reflect on how we can better support the next generation. How the day will go Join us at 9.30 for coffee and pastries, before we hear from a guest speaker on the impact Adolescence has had on their context. Following a short coffee break we will then have time to explore how we can each respond, using the Open Space Technology conference tool to create opportunities for the conversations that will help us to move forward appropriately. We will end with lunch at 12.30pm. Key Information We will be gathering at Youthscape in Luton, which is conveniently located next to Luton Train station, for those traveling by train. For those driving, please note that the car park directly outside Youthscape is no longer available, the closest car park can be located on Power Court, just a 5 minute walk from the venue.
