Hi my name is Petra Lewis and I am a personal trainer and fitness professional with a passion for nutrition. January 2016 I was introduced to the incredible world of food fermentation. I thought I will give it a go to help my husband with his stomach issues. Basically he was going through a bottle of Gavascon a week. 4 – 6 weeks later he had noticed a dramatic improvement to the point his last bottle of Gavascon is still unopened in the cupboard. The following summer we also noticed that my son and husband who used to suffer with hay fever suddenly had improved dramatically. Personally I no longer suffer from the dreaded sugar cravings that I am sure most can relate to. We had improved our general health including upset stomach, colds and viruses. Most of all I feel very satisfied that my family now have healthy happy gut! Being passionate about it I have decided to start doing the workshops to give you the opportunity to try it out and learn how to make it all for your own health benefits. I am so glad I got myself into Fermenting as I love the taste and see the health benefits for myself and my family. I am sure this will open up a wealth of health opportunities for you.

I am very much an intuitive person and I work with compassion and use the skills that I have learned from my courses. Swing Dancing is a term used for a collection of vintage dances dating from the 1920s/30s/40s which are danced to Swing music. The dances frequently included under this banner are: – The Lindy Hop – Charleston – Jazz – Balboa – Collegiate Shag Each with different origins, these dances found an equal meaning to the music of some of the greatest bands and singers of the early 20th Century including Count Basie, Ella Fitzgerald, Chick Webb, Duke Ellington and many, many more. After a period of obscurity lasting several decades, a resurgence in Swing Dancing began in the 1980s and has continued to grow in popularity ever since. These highly musical and energetic dances continue to bring joy to many people on the dancefloor and never fail to get the feet of spectactors tapping. What do we do? SwingOut Manchester is an organisation which aims to encourage people to join the fun-filled, energetic and friendly world of Swing Dancing. Launched in 2017, SwingOut Manchester is on a mission to bring the Lindy Hop, Charleston and more to the city of Manchester. Offering weekly classes in these vintage dances as well as lots of opportunities through workshops and socials to get out on the dancefloor, meet new people, and discover the huge community of Swing Dancers across the country and the wider world.

We are a group of teachers, musicians and technologists who specialise in composition, improvisation and performance using iPads. Ben Sellers and Travis Snyder began running music workshops with iPads in a Hackney community centre in 2011, developing an approach that combined outstanding musical outcomes with implicit development of musicianship and theory. They transferred this approach to both formal mainstream and SEND/ALN contexts, codifying their methods into what became the 2014 textbook ‘Teaching Music with Garageband for iPad’, and a popular teacher training scheme. In 2016, Travis returned to California to become the head of Assistive Technology for the San Francisco District School Board. 2017 saw the publication of several new resources, including a second edition of the Garageband textbook and an increased focus on training partnerships with Music Education Hubs. Since 2018 we have gained an increasingly strong reputation as SEND/ALN specialists, working with MEHs up and down the country to improve provision through co-delivery and bespoke training and resources, including a complete ‘SEN/D Curriculum’ with Leicester-Shire Music Service, and a set of projects for the Charanga education platform. We were nominated twice in the 2019 ‘Music Teacher Awards for Excellence’. Though our reputation has grown, we remain a small and focussed team, working hard to develop in young people the skill, desire and drive to use music to enhance their lives.

The Cambridge Information and Intellectual Property Meeting (CIIPM) was founded by Jane List of Extract Information and Stuart Newbold of Patent Search & Information Management in 2015. CIIPM hosts an ‘annual’ meeting and provides training in IP matters and patent information search and analysis. The CIIPM meeting provides an opportunity for knowledge sharing for those engaged with the commercialisation of technologies using intellectual property, and those needing information to make legal and commercial decisions. The annual meeting offers an afternoon of talks, workshops, and discussions, a small exhibition, networking opportunities, and has hosted a post graduate student poster competition. CIIPM also provides unique training courses blending theory and practice in IP Matters, IP Commercialisation, and Patent Searching for Legal and Commercial Insights. Training courses take place throughout the year virtually and at venues in Cambridge, UK, or by arrangement at your office or other location. Following the March 2022 meeting CIIPM have established a programme committee to help us maintain the strong programme and networking. We are very pleased that Claudia Duffy, Innovare IP, Isla Furlong, Director of Intellectual Property, PetMedix Ltd. Anne Jones, Senior Customer Success, ACS / CAS , Rob Mann, IP Manager, PragmatIC, Kerry Rees, Partner, HGF and Sam Winders, PatSnap have agreed to join the programme committee. The theme and programme for the 2023 meeting will be announced from September 2022.
