Our Vision JONES&US, working with community organisations, nonprofits, public services such as schools and groups across Renfrewshire and Central Scotland, makes fitness circuits and sporting activities, like handball, football, badminton, touch rugby, and basketball, fun for all ages and abilities. Our vision is to make exercising accessible to everyone by providing a safe and motivational environment, and thus we specialise in working with people and kids with mental health issues, learning difficulties, disabilities, Down’s syndrome, and on the spectrum. All of our activities are designed to improve people’s lives and aid them to gain control of their well-being by boosting their self-confidence and helping them find their inner strength along with building their physical one. We’re strong advocates for overcoming one’s limitations and challenges through the sense of empowerment that comes with getting involved in sports.

This inspired her to set up Acacia Learning, whose model was to hire tutors and rooms only when needed, and provide many more study options, in order to better serve those with busy work schedules and lives. Cambian is one of the largest providers of specialist education and behavioural health services for children in the UK. Our services have a specific focus on individuals who present with high severity needs. We provide a broad range of specialist services across England. These services include specialist education schools and colleges for both day and residential learners, residential care homes and a therapeutic fostering service. Our specialist education schools and colleges support children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Asperger Syndrome (AS), moderate to severe learning disabilities, associated challenging behaviours and complex needs. Our specialist residential care homes support children with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) and associated complex needs. We provide care, therapy and education for a discrete cohort of needs within these homes; this includes provisions for children who have experienced complex trauma (neglect and abuse), those who have been sexually exploited, and those with a learning disability. These homes are all supported by specialists schools to support their individual educational needs. We also run a therapeutic fostering service through which we are able to support children with a variety of complex needs within a family environment. We recognise that each child is an individual with their own needs, desires and dreams, and we are fully committed to supporting each child to enable them to achieve ‘their personal best’. With such a broad range of services and an extensive focus on independent learning and living, employability and social skills, where appropriate we are able to support children through into their adult life.

I enjoyed a very broad experience with Shell UK, spanning logistics and distribution, business-to-business marketing, retail sales, marketing communications and the exploitation of motor sport sponsorships, customer service, operations and career transition. During this time I was also invited to tutor with The Leadership Trust on their Leadership in Management programme. This increased my desire to transform the performance of both executives and senior managers; and by that, to improve organisational performance too. This interest led me to the world of HR and in particular, guiding organisations through down-sizing processes; and supporting people through the redundancy experience – empowering them to become more self-aware and articulate their value to new potential employers. Specialising at executive and senior manager levels, means I make a real difference to them as individuals, drawing out their real values that positively impact on performance, profitability and stakeholder esteem; and therefore benefit new roles or organisations. For over 25 years, I have provided specialist and focused support to executives and senior managers spanning all key disciplines and the entire spectrum of industry, public sector and 3rd sector organisations. My interest is always in finding a better way to help smooth the process; guiding clients in a more professional way through each stage of their career transition – always with high quality and unlimited 1:1 support – and a unique approach supported by technical reasoning and psychological evidence. THE PHRASE 'REBOUND THERAPY', when correctly applied, describes a specific methodology, assessment and programme of use of trampolines to provide opportunities for enhanced movement patterns, therapeutic positioning, exercise and recreation for a wide range of users with additional needs. STUDENTS' PROGRESS IS recorded using the . Grades 1, 2 and 3 of this programme are based entirely on the original, accredited and approved 'Eddy Anderson model' training course as detailed on this website. When working with students with profound or complex needs, progress can be accurately measured and recorded using the in conjunction with the Winstrada development programme. THE PHRASE 'REBOUND THERAPY' was coined by the founder, E.G. Anderson, in 1969 to describe the use of trampolines in providing therapeutic exercise and recreation for people with a wide range of special needs. Participants range from mild to severe physical disabilities and from mild to profound and multiple learning disabilities, including dual sensory impairment and autistic spectrum. REBOUND THERAPY IS used to facilitate movement, promote balance, promote an increase or decrease in muscle tone, promote relaxation, promote sensory integration, improve fitness and exercise tolerance, and to improve communication skills. OF Rebound Therapy form the basis of all gymnastic movement and are therefore a logical and advisable starting point for trampoline coach training – even for those who have no intention of teaching people with disabilities. THE OFFICIAL UK body, worldwide federation, and consultancy for Rebound Therapy is ReboundTherapy.org. They are responsible for the development and provision of the certificated and accredited training courses, and for the development of overseas training partners.

I believe that when we take time to slow down and listen to our bodies we can begin to hear what’s truly needed to feel grounded, balanced and whole.  This is why I’ve dedicated the past 20 years to studying and practicing Breathwork, Life Purpose Coaching, EFT (Tapping),  Kinesiology, Integrated nutrition and movement, asking the body to guide me and my clients back to wellness.  My purpose is to support people to heal, transform the pain of the past, to feel deeply by listening and connecting to their bodies and their inner wisdom so that they can create a future full of joy, purpose and love whilst embracing the full spectrum of the human experience. And I understand my clients concerns & frustrations because I’ve been out of balance too. Over the years I’ve navigated PTSD, postnatal depression, candida, digestive issues, total disconnect from my body and felt that life was not flowing smoothly. Armed with the knowledge and wisdom of my professional practise I’ve been able to create protocols and commit to daily rituals, bringing myself back into alignment.  My work is to support people to reconnect to themselves, heal, transform the past and to create a future full of joy, purpose and love whilst embracing the full spectrum of the human experience.  Embodiment encourages you to reconnect with your wholeness guiding you to make better decisions about your health, wellbeing and all aspects of your life. Lives and works in Brighton & Hove, United Kingdom. ARTISTS STATEMENT: I am a contemporary mosaic artist. My goal? To celebrate and challenge the art of mosaic. Colour underpins everything I create. The approach: intuitive. In my work over twenty five yearsI have developed a striking and vibrant style. The work has included architectural wall and floor features, decorative pieces and sculptures. Whilst developing my sculptural practice I was one of the first in Britain to import concrete construction techniques specifically for mosaic making from North America. This led to my recent postgraduate enquiry into how to translate fragment to form. To take the tile (tesserae) from the surface and make it the object in itself. After all, mosaic originated in Roman construction techniques, it did not begin as decoration. Experience in working to commission for private, corporate and public clients has equipped me with a broad spectrum of skills. They range from design and making to fine judgement about enhancing a space. It is underpinned by a careful interpretation of the clients’ requirements. The art of mosaic, often overlooked and undervalued, is rich in culture, materials and skill. It’s traditions and versatility I continue enthusiastically to embrace. My purpose? To stimulate discussion about the mosaic-making process and to contribute to its' position as both a craft and a fine art form. Currently I focus on producing new sculptural artwork for exhibition and sale.

High Grange School’s multi-disciplinary approach incorporates best practices and autism-friendly strategies and supports in order to meet the educational needs of students who have ASD. Our students learn how to develop and use effective compensatory strategies to overcome difficulties in social and emotional processing, communication and flexibility in thinking and behaviour, all of which can combine to have a negative impact on their learning. The design of the school; its environment and facilities; and the structure and delivery of our educational programmes are created to reduce the stress and anxieties often associated with an autism spectrum condition. Our enabling teaching approach provides multiple physical and practical opportunities as well as visual supports for learning. This helps students to achieve their full potential by understanding and dealing with personal challenges while making the most of their abilities and strengths. Managing expectations realistically is a core part of our educational programme. Individualised Learning Plans are created for all students with input from the school’s specialist therapists. These plans include strategies to enable students to manage their anxieties; to regulate their emotional responses; and to reduce or eliminate negative and inappropriate behaviours which are preventing effective learning and positive social interactions. During the school day students have access to a varied and stimulating curriculum. The Classes are grouped by Key Stage and students are taught in small groups of up to 6. Teachers use detailed planning to ensure each individual is enabled to achieve in all areas. Classrooms are well-equipped and include specialist facilities for Music, Art & Design, D&T, Science, Computer Science and ICT, Food Technology and Performing Arts. High Grange has excellent PE facilities, including a swimming pool, large gymnasium, hard court areas and extensive grassed areas.
