CCO - The Collaboration Company

cco - the collaboration company

CCO, the Collaboration Company, specialises in business coaching. We understand business culture, strategy, leadership and management. Our Coaching Programmes are designed to support those in Executive Leadership roles, Senior Management, Mid-Level Management and Supervisory roles. These are tailored to provide individual professional development for each individual aligned with the needs of the business. Often involving 360 feedback, our coaching framework identifies gaps in competency, communication, confidence and behavioural attributes. These become the area of focus during the Coaching programme. Our entry level Supervisory Management and Junior Management Coaching support can be provided to small groups combined with structured group training and workplace mentoring. Leadership and Management We have extensive experience working with individuals and groups in developing leadership and management competence. Acquiring knowledge is, in itself, not the most effective metric to gauge true development. Our focus is to support the application of learning in the workplace using a series of tried, trusted and value adding techniques, toolkits and approaches. Our deep-rooted understanding of brain science and human behaviour is paramount in supporting clients effectively apply their knowledge with work colleagues and their team members. Performance Culture A shift in culture occurs when language and behaviour both changes. Without exception, each of our clients have a need to develop the culture of performance within their team, department or across their business. We have a practical, step-by-step approach to improving the performance of individuals and teams. This starts by creating absolute clarity on performance outcomes and concludes only when the structure for measuring outcomes and providing support are embedded. Our approach ensures that people are clear on what is expected and that performance outcomes are aligned with broader departmental and business objectives. We ensure that outcomes are reasonable, achievable and that a structure is established to provide feedback and support each individual ‘win’. Mediation Where people work together, the potential for conflict and disagreement exists. This is often between individuals but it can show up in tension between departments or stakeholders who need to work more collaboratively. Our Business coaches are skilled at mediation in the workplace. Combining our knowledge and experience within businesses with our expertise on behaviour, we quickly get to the root of the issue. We coach and train individuals and teams to resolve concerns, move beyond legacy issues and upset to work agreeably and with respect.

The Feminist Library is a large archive collection of feminist literature, particularly Women’s Liberation Movement materials dating from the late 1960s to the 1990s. We support research, activist and community projects in this field. The Library is also an autonomous feminist community space. The Library is trans-inclusive, welcomes visitors of any gender, does not require registration or membership, and provides an intersectional, non-sectarian space for the exploration of feminism. You can view our our Community Policy here. Why not search our Online Catalogue, explore our Collection, or find out more about our Activities and Events. If you would like to find out more about Volunteering or becoming a Friend to support the Library financially, please do get in touch. Originally known as the Women’s Research and Resources Centre (WRRC), the Feminist Library was set up in 1975, at the height of the Women’s Liberation Movement (WLM), a time of intense political campaigning and lively collective organising. Learn more about our Herstory here. Since the Library’s beginnings, it has provided a place where women could network and educate themselves, and has become a contact point for women locally, nationally and internationally. Today the Library continues its drive for inclusion and accessibility. The Library is run by a collective of volunteers, with a management structure committed to making decisions by consensus. London

The private PT studio which Dan Newman owns and uses for his personal training clients. The gym is in on Watermill Way in Wimbledon SW19 and is surrounded by picturesque parkland and river side cafes. There is a map and some video of the fitness studio along with a description of how and where clients can work with their personl trainer. You may choose to exercise with myself or another trainer in my diverse and experienced team according to your preferences. We operate 4 PT studios dispersed conveniently throughout Wimbledon and the practice we run is one of high standards that remains relaxed and fun while it targets your results and works hard at achieving them with you. We offer 1:1 PT, a full schedule of group ex classes including Hiit classes, circuits, pilates, yoga, box-fit-hiit and more. I recruit the best PTs and provide them a scenario that enables them to thrive, so that we can provide you with the best experience available in Personal Training anywhere. Choosing a DNPT trainer means chooosing a trainer that has already been carefully vetted, and whose knowledge and enjoyment for the job is nourished and consistently developed. I do not lead the company alone, a central core of senior PTs share the task, enabling us to run a smooth and professional service in which every trainer is invested. As well as this you can rest assured that excitement and personality are just as important to us. Our environment of high standards and continued development enriches the experience of PT for every member – client, trainer and company. It is my opinion, formed over 30 years in health and fitness, with more than 18 years as a one-on-one PT, that turning up for the exercise hour alone is not enough to help people achieve a lasting change. Which is why, as well as your actual PT Sessions you will be provided a full plan and experience a great deal of support from us with any lifestyle changes required to achieve your results. There will be some predictable obstacles to strategise for and some opportunities we might take advantage of, and we will form our plan taking these into account. The first step is an informal chat with me. There is no obligation or expectation, just a free chat with a professional. If you decide that PT is the right thing for you from there, then the next step would be to meet up for a proper consultation.Contact me if you want to take the first step. My service is built around a proven structure and motivating process that you can rely on, but every package is tailored to you as an individual. As well as being a great way to ensure you are successful with your goals, Personal Training is quality ‘You’ time and if you look around in one of my studios, you’ll see a lot of people enjoying their PT hour as well as learning new things and getting the workout done. We also run group exercise classes which can be packaged up with your PT week to help with easy motivation and balance the budget.

Sohbet Society

sohbet society

London

Sohbet Society is a non-profit organisation (limited by guarantee company registration no.11613566) providing religious learning and spiritual activities for Muslims. Sohbet is a Turkish word and means ‘to talk, converse, discuss and engage with one another in a friendly, caring, warm and informal manner’. In our context, we use the word sohbet to mean to converse with one another in a study or discussion circle on the big questions of God, purpose, meaning, faith, religion, and society. Through Sohbet Society, we provide opportunity for religious learning and spiritual growth and development for Muslims in Britain. We achieve this through a series of activities including study groups, mentoring, outreach, retreats, excursions and social action. Religious and spiritual learning is achieved through semi-structured study groups as well as practical experiences such as social action and retreats. In all, we aim to offer a friendly, positive and constructive form of authentic religious expression and an environment for genuine spiritual experience that speaks both to the mind and heart, to the personal and social needs of the individual. We believe this nurtures a religious understanding and spiritual mindset that emphasises peaceful social relations and respect for human diversity and dignity. Sohbet Society is an active component of Hizmet, an Islamically inspired social movement that focuses on education, dialogue, and disaster and poverty relief work. It originated in Turkey in the 1970s based on the teachings and scholarship of Fethullah Gülen, an Islamic scholar and peace advocate. Today, Hizmet is active in over 160 countries worldwide. Like other social movements Hizmet includes formalised entities and organisations, but is largely based on informal networks and practices. The Sohbet Society is now formalising Hizmet’s pre-existing informal grass-roots religious activism in the UK in order to achieve greater visibility, transparency, professionalism, and structure so that we may be able to diversify the people who benefit from our services and to further develop our projects and services.

Nen Trust

Bengaluru

The NEN Trust was setup in 2008 to play the critical role of establishing an entrepreneurship ecosystem in a large number of tier 1 and 2 academic campuses across India. The goal was to enable young people on campuses to ‘do’ entrepreneurship while still on campus so that they could actively build aspiration, skills, confidence and networks which would increase their chances of starting new ventures successfully sooner rather than later upon graduation. Since its inception, NEN has worked with 500+ academic institutions including the founding institutions of its network IIT Bombay, IIM Ahmedabad, BITS Pilani, S P Jain Institute of Management and IBAB. NEN spent its initial years creating and establishing student E Cells actively running activities, competitions and start-up sessions across hundreds of campuses; trained 1500+ faculty in ‘doing experiential entrepreneurship programs’ including workshops and courses on campus; helped spur the development of 100+ entrepreneurship and innovation centres within its network institutions; and enabled 100,000s of students to get the exposure, and develop skills in entrepreneurship and venture creation. Today, NEN enables campuses and incubators to run virtual accelerated programs to maximise startup success. NEN is partnering with State startup policy makers, Govt. incubators, MHRD IICs and Innovation Labs. NEN’s program structure, tools & resources, digital content, technology platform, facilitator development and wide network of mentors is helping build healthy startups and empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs. In its journey, NEN tied up for funding with Wadhwani Foundation (https://www.wfglobal.org) for their programs in India. The Foundation is a not-for-profit with the primary mission of accelerating economic development by driving job creation in India and other emerging economies, and in the US, through large-scale initiatives in entrepreneurship, small business growth, innovation, and skilling. Wadhwani Foundation’s mission to achieve ‘job creation at scale’, the methodology, digital content and technology platform is in alliance with NEN’s goals of igniting and establishing a nationwide culture of entrepreneurship.
