At Peaches Salons, safety for all is paramount. This stands for our training services as much as our treatment services. To make this a safe and enjoyable experience we have decided to make every training course a 1-2-1 service. This means that not only will you receive the highest industry standard of learning, you will also have the complete & undivided attention from your own educator throughout your training day. Just you, your educator and the model. All models for your training will be provided by Peaches as part of the academy service, we will also carry out our own thorough consultation with the models along with our new Covid-19 screening consultation, keeping everyone safe and well. About CVU The Council of Validating Universities is the only body in the UK specialising exclusively in good practice and standards for that aspect of higher education which concerns the validation of programmes of study by universities and colleges (‘awarding institutions’) for delivery by other colleges or organisations (‘partner institutions’). The term ‘collaborative provision’ is often used to describe this form of partnership. Foundation and Remit The CVU was formed in 1982 and registered as a charity in 1996. It became incorporated as a Company Limited by Guarantee on 28th October 2004 (Company Number: 05272761). It is a non-statutory body comprising representatives from higher education institutions and other related organisations in the United Kingdom. Objectives: To advance education, including training and research, in particular by: keeping under review the concerns of degree-awarding institutions within the United Kingdom in relation to collaborative activity identifying and promoting good practice in collaborative validation. The CVU defines ‘collaborative provision’ as the process whereby a degree-awarding body judges one or more programmes of study, courses, or modules offered by another body to be appropriate to lead to a qualification and/or credit of that degree awarding body. The programmes of study may be designed and developed by either the degree-awarding body or the the other body or a partnership of the two. Collaborative validation therefore embraces the accreditation of institutions, the franchising of courses and other forms of academic association.

The Sapientia Education Trust (SET) was established in 2016 with the purpose of bringing like-minded schools together to work in partnership to deliver a world class education to pupils in Norfolk and Suffolk. The term Sapientia comes from the motto of the founding school, Wymondham College, and means wisdom. Our work is cross-phase and involves a strong commitment to staff development and on-going training for all staff in our schools. We believe that collaboration and partnership work helps raise standards and we work with a range of schools within and beyond our Trust. SET currently consists of 7 secondary schools and 10 primary schools, educating 5,500 pupils. We range in size from the largest state boarding school in the UK, to several very small, rural schools. We share a common belief that high quality education is broad ranging and embraces strong extra-curricular provision and an expectation that all pupils can and should achieve. As a Trust our school improvement record is very strong. In Summer 2019 three of our secondary schools secured progress outcomes at GCSE that were "above average" and Wymondham College Sixth Form outcomes were also "above average". Our primary schools continue to improve and include 3 schools where KS2 outcomes were significantly above national average. We look forward to maintaining our record as a high performing Trust.

I hope you will find it interesting and will find the information you are looking for. ‘A seminary is more than a building, it is a community of formation.’ That is the starting point for the Catholic Church’s understanding of seminaries. St Mary’s College has existed as a formation community for 226 years. It has been in its present location for the last 182 of those years. Formation takes place here in many different ways: but for the sake of convenience we divide those ways into four main strands. They are pastoral, spiritual human and intellectual. You can read about each of those areas by clicking here if you would like to know more. Even though we are much more than a building we are very proud of the buildings the seminary inhabits. You will see many photographs of them on the website and you will also find various ways that you could visit us. You would be very welcome. We are also proud of our seminarians and our permanent deacons in formation. Inclusion Expert’s founder, Daniel Sobel, is an internationally respected leader in inclusive education and has advised the DfE, the EU and governments abroad. Daniel is a well-known speaker, writes regularly for publications including Headteacher Update and The Guardian, and is the author of several books including Narrowing the Attainment Gap. Daniel left school with no A Levels and read his first book aged 18. Gradually he fell in love with study and managed to secure a place on a Master’s course in Education Psychology. He went on to take four graduate courses in Psychology and Education, eventually running out of money in the middle of doctoral training. Daniel moved to full time teaching and quickly became a SENCO. Dismayed by how much of the job was pointless meetings and paperwork, he started designing tools to better support his students. During a stint as Assistant Head he continued to develop simple systems to help teachers manage information and maximise the impact of their interventions. Realising that many teachers were struggling with inclusion, that his ideas really worked, and that there was an opportunity to make a difference to children across the country, Daniel left teaching, somewhat hesitantly, to form Inclusion Expert. Over the last few years the company has grown rapidly to encompass a team of experienced practitioners who share Daniel’s vision that every child deserves the opportunity to achieve their potential, regardless of needs, background or ability.
