Why learn French at our School? From the onset, students feel enormously
supported by their respective tutors. They are given clear linguistic objectives
and a defined tuition programme. Students’ progress is checked through regular
tests. Tutors use role plays and audiovisual materials; we want you to feel as
if you were in France (though still in Oxford). Tuition is given in French – the
best way to improve communication skills in everyday situations, which results
in natural and lively interaction in French (our classes can be very animated!)
We use local pubs, French restaurants and bars, visits to museums, book clubs,
quiz nights and discussion groups to enhance every opportunity of recreating a
moment in time on French territory. In the context of the current pandemic, all
tuition continues to be offered on line to protect our students and tutors. It
has been wonderful to discover that our virtual tutoring proves to be a great
success with all students, big and small!
