Towerbank After School Club runs during term time, while our popular Holiday Club runs during the holidays. Monday to Thursday – Session runs from 15:10 to 17:45. Friday – Session runs from 12:20 to 17:30. The first thing we offer children when they come through the door after school is the chance to refuel by eating snack. We offer a variety of healthy food and drink and encourage the children to have their say in the choices we offer. Examples range from oatcakes and cheese, soup and bread, veggie wraps and yoghurt and fruit. Fruit and drinks are available throughout the session and are specifically offered again at 5pm. We use the great outside spaces we have in Portobello, including the playground which allows us to be outside each and every day. And we go out to the parks and the beach if possible. We also have a wide range of indoor activities such as construction toys, board games, computer games, craft equipment etc. Clothing. During term time, children remain in their school uniform unless parents provide a change of clothing. Overalls will be provided to wear for messy play.

Good quality, affordable childcare offering : Breakfast clubs, After School Clubs, Holiday Clubs. Rainbow Out of School Clubs offer safe, stimulating and above all fun environment for children aged 4 and 11 years. The play environment allows the children to be offered a selection of structured activities and play opportunities which take place both in and outdoors weather permitting e.g. art & craft, board games, construction activities, role play, clay modelling, home corner, pool table, kwik-cricket, ball games and much more. The children are free to choose activities. Play opportunities are risk assessed and evaluated to ensure that the safety of the children is balanced with the enjoyment and fun element. Qualified and experienced and police checked playworkers understand the importance of play and how this impacts on the individual development needs of children. Playworkers receive ongoing training to ensure the quality of care is paramount. All clubs are registered with Ofsted (where legally required to do so), and inspected in accordance with the law & guidance surrounding the care of children in a play environment. Parents/Carers are issued with terms and conditions upon registration. A comprehensive list of policies which the club operates by are available at the clubs. You will be required to complete registration forms for your child prior to joining.

Our Holiday Club and After School Club allow your children to take part in many indoor and outdoor play activities whilst we care for them in a friendly, fun environment. Based in Royston, Hertfordshire, UK, all of our staff are friendly and qualified, or working towards their qualifications.

henry's after school playscheme

Henry's playscheme is our popular childcare initiative based at Horfield C of E School. It is managed by a voluntary committee of parents, who have children attending the School. The committee are always looking for parents/carers who wish to be involved with the running of the scheme. Henry's caters for children between the ages of 4 and 11 years. For further information, please click on the link to Henry's website. https://henrysasc.wixsite.com/henrys Premises The opening hours of the club are 3.15 - 6.00pm. The club is based in our Partnership Room with its own cooking and toilet facilities and separate intercom entrance from the school to ensure the safety of your children. There is ample outdoor play space with both a grass and tarmac area. A light tea will be provided daily. Activities The Play Manager and Room Leaders will co-ordinate the play activities based on the ideas and suggestions of the children attending Henry's. These will include: arts and crafts, sport and games, cooking, entertainment, free play, computer, playstation, television/DVD, quiet corner for homework. Fees The scheme operates Monday to Friday afterschool during term time only. The fees per session are £11.75 per child. There are no reductions for siblings.
