Cake Academy Wales, based in Neath, South Wales is a cake school run by the
multi-award winning renowned New York pastry chef Nichola Ferron. As a
classically trained chef from the Arts Institute of Seattle, Nichola brings the
culinary expertise that is second to none. Always having a deep interest & skill
in the baking aspect of the culinary arts, Nichola, while on maternity leave
started a business from home that could combine both her love of baking with her
love of art, whilst also affording her the freedom to raise a daughter and
started creating bespoke couture wedding cakes. Having such a talent led Nichola
to further her studies and gain the PME Professional Diploma and subsequent
Masters Certificate in the discipline. Furthermore, Nichola regularly pushes the
boundaries of her discipline and has won numerous awards at internationally
recognised events as well as most recently another Great Taste Gold Star Award
in 2020.
