This course focuses on effective negotiation techniques to be successful in different situations and with people holding different levels of power. The course evaluates how negotiations impact the organizations and ourselves. Value add and opportunistic property investments are complex both in their initial scope and their cash flow projections.This course will show delegates how to appraise projects in Excel, incorporate and communicate updates as they happen and ultimately understand how to convert an opportunistic property investment into a core asset that can be sold on.Residual models (profit &amp; site) are demonstrated first to illustrate the main components of any scheme and the traditional methods of evaluation such as profit on cost ratio, rental yield and interest cover. Details 
Using pre-recorded training, interactive on-line content (through Padlet), self-directed learning and live events, this substantial and comprehensive blended training course keeps delegates interested, engaged and learning new ways to bring excellence to their 24-hour postural care provision and focuses on the often neglected lying position and how unsupported lying drives changes to a person's body shape which impacts sitting, standing and functional movement. 
You will have access to the online learning from 29th January 2025 and be provided with all the information you will need to complete the course. At 1pm (GMT) on 29th January you will then join the trainers for an introductory event via Zoom to provide an outline of the training and to answer any questions you may have. Over the next few weeks you can access the pre-recorded training videos and interactive online content to enable you to complete the workbook. On 12th March 2025 there will be a series of live discussion events for the specific ages the course covers to assess your learning (you must attend at least one of these events - please see below for further information). 
Why? 
People with complex needs, deserve a thorough, co-ordinated 24-hour postural care service. We only get one body and yet people with complex disabilities don't always get the 'annual service' afforded the equipment they use.
Posture Positive report (2020) found training is a key aspect to developing resilient and robust 24-hour postural care for people with complex needs. Every person with complex needs or limited movement requires a comprehensive 24-hour postural care service delivered in a personalised way. 
Who? 
The course is suitable for specialist physiotherapists, specialist occupational therapists and other highly trained healthcare professionals working in health, SEN and social care. 
The course breaks down the life span of a person as follows:
0-3 years
Children and young people in education
Adults
Older people an palliative care
Each delegate selects the aspects of the course relevant to their particular area of practice whilst having access to all the course resources.

On completion of the course, it is hoped delegates will be equipped with the knowledge needed to deliver an outstanding, person-centred, 24-hour postural care service.

Rachel Wright (BSc) Founder of Born at the Right Time Rachel is author of The Skies I'm Under, finalist 2020 RCN Nursing Awards, trainer, qualified nurse and unqualified mum of three sons; one of whom has severe disabilities and life-limiting epilepsy. Occasionally she ties on her trainers and runs in a vague attempt to counteract her love for Salt ‘n Vinegar crisps, hummus and all things carbohydrate. 
Sarah Clayton (BSc, PGCE) CEO Simple Stuff Works Sarah is passionate about all things postural care. Sounds dull but it turns out that her passion translates into highly contagious enthusiasm. She has developed a range of accredited training courses accessible to health, social care and education practitioners.
