We are dedicated to working closely with service users and their families to provide highly personalised, flexible, safe, outcome-based support. We will support service users to access new experiences, learn new skills, access social interaction opportunities and increase confidence, all while promoting free choice and independence. Weekend Residential Opportunities – 48hrs weekend residential trips with venues to include Pioneer Centre @ Cleobury Mortimer, Alton Towers Resort and Chester City Break (including Chester Zoo visit and more). Life Skills Project – Small group Life Skills Project to focus on individual needs whilst developing independence through lifelong learning and community integration. Holly Taylor has over 14 years of experience working within the education and social care sector. 7 years specifically managing social care provisions for Children and Adults with additional needs. Qualified with a BA hons degree and Early Years Professional Status (level 6), Previous roles include working in Early years provisions, mainstream school support, family support worker, case worker and now as proud Co-Owner and Director of Service Delivery of Taylor Support. Holly is the registered CQC manager and Safeguarding trainer. Holly feels that through the varied roles she has carried out, in particular supporting families to best meet needs, leading on reviews, EHCP meetings, liaising with professionals, to being the service lead locally for the short breaks activity offer for children and young adults with additional and complex needs provides her with a holistic view and experience to best support the business. Holly loves her role now managing a company focused on providing bespoke and personalized support for vulnerable children, young people, adults and families as well as maintaining direct face to face work to ensure the service meets the needs of the people they provide a service for.

The Street Soccer Academy is a newly formed project recruiting the best talent from in and around London after the Nike academy collapse. The Street Soccer Academy host trials through application, where the successful candidates will be invited to an evaluation on technical, tactical, physical and mental abilities. Only a successful players from the trialist will be chosen to form the Street Soccer Academy Team who will go on to play academy and pre-academy sides, numerous showcase matches through out the season against foreign and British professional and ex professional players overseen by domestic British and foreign clubs. These players will be required to train together with showcase matches up to 2 times a month, to attend branded events and tournaments with opportunities of sponsorship and professional/semi-professional opportunities . The final Street Soccer Academy team will undergo frequent filmed game analysis where individual performances will be tracked for improvements and adjustments, as well as footage edited to contribute towards a players CV for an invite into future clubs. Players will also be documented to track progress and give a behind the scenes look into sports science, fitness methodology, individual coaching, talent ID and mental training on the path to a professional career. The Trial Alongside performance on the day we have an Academy lounge set up for football specific guest speakers, workshops and presentations with the professional advice corner on nutrition. Players will be required to undergo fitness test, technical ability challenges as well as physical and mental evaluations before undergoing numerous small sided games. (These small sided games will be recorded with game footage sent back to individuals upon request.) Players can also join being out of contract or contracted (In a team or out of a team), the academy is a great shop window for non-professional players to showcase their talent through our set up. Unsuccessful trialist who show strong potential will be invited to our advanced training centres and be at times asked to train alongside the first team as replacements for subsequent injuries or absentees with the possibility of making it into the squad full time. Created to discover, develop and deliver talented footballers to the exposure of professional, semi-professional and foreign clubs. We deliver sessions for U6-U14, however U16-U23 being the Street Soccer Skills Academy First Team. The successful selection of the Street Soccer Academy First Team & youth squad will not only have regular team training, but tailored training provided by sports scientist, specialist 1-1 coaches as well as strength and conditioning leaders to help fulfill the teams and individual potential to have the best chance of being recruited. Who Are We? reSEND is an independent advisory service for families who have children or young people with special education needs and disabilities. What Do We Do? We offer impartial, confidential and accurate information, advice, training and support for parents, carers, young people and children regarding Special Educational Needs or Disabilities. This includes information concerning Education, Health and Social Care services. We support parents, carers, young people and children and empower them to express their views and wishes and help them to understand and exercise their rights in SEND processes such as the Education, Health and Care Plan process. We liaise closely with schools, the local authorities, the voluntary sector and other relevant agencies including education, health and social care. We work closely with a number of charities to offer further support and training to families. We also offer bespoke training covering several topics including, but not limited to, Sensory Processing, Autism and EHCPs. “Wouldn’t trust anyone else to advise me about an EHCP for our daughter.” CA, Parent How We Started reSEND was launched in September 2019 by Liz Stanley. Between 2015 and 2018 she had been working as an Independent Support Practitioner in Hertfordshire. The Independent Support service was established to support parents and young people through the SEND reforms that began in 2014. Independent Support Practitioners supported parents through the process of transferring Statements of SEN into the new Education, Health and Care Plans, as well as supporting those applying for the EHCP for the first time. This remit was then expanded to include support during the Annual Review Process of the EHCPs. During this time Liz personally supported over 300 families on a one to one basis and gave information and support in group environments to over 600 parents and young people. When this service closed in 2018 Liz continued to provide this support and expanded her remit further in a self-employed, independent capacity. It soon became very clear that this service was still in high demand and Liz decided to set up a company so she could increase the number of families that she and her team could support. Thus reSEND was born. Since then they have supported hundreds of families with EHCP's and other Educational issues. The team has continued to expand and 2022 saw the launch of the Tribunal Support service enabling reSEND to further support and empower families all over England. “Thank you so much for all your help and support with our families this year. I have three beautiful and challenging teenagers! Zaiah was born Vaginally Breech (Bottom first!) Isaac was breech for a while and then I had him turned (by ECV) and subsequently had him at home, and Otto was born premature at 32 weeks, also Breech and by Emergency C-Section. My personal birth experiences and the ways in which I was cared for during my pregnancies and births have shaped me as both woman and midwife. My journey to Midwifery began in 2008 where, as part of my IBCLC training, I attended a 'Womb to World' conference. At the conference, one of the speakers included a wonderfully funny and engaging lady called Ina May Gaskin, the author of 'Spiritual Midwifery'. I was already a Breastfeeding Counsellor with the charity the 'Association of Breastfeeding Mothers', and was working hard towards my International Board Certified Lactation Consultant qualification. My own babies were all approaching school age and I was at a milestone in my life, deciding whether to return to secondary school teaching, or to try something else. Ina May Gaskin opened my eyes to Midwifery, through the way she presented pregnancy, birth and motherhood, and I left the conference having decided that I was not going to return to teaching (which actually I hated!) I was going to be a Midwife! I commenced my training in 2009, qualifying in October 2012. In Aug 2012, I was extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to travel to The Farm Midwifery Centre in Tennessee, (where Ina May lives and works) and witness the amazing work of Ina May and Pamela Hunt (another original 'Farm Midwife') first hand. At The Farm, I completed the Advanced Midwifery Workshop, and the course included many aspects of how to keep birth as physiological as possible. At the end of the course, there's a ceremony in which the Farm Midwives Bless the participants hands. At each Birth I have attended, as my hands are poised, ready to receive the new life, I am reminded of the ceremony and -I truly believe- my calling to be 'with woman'. For me at the time, travelling to The Farm, symbolised the completion of a circle of events that led me to finding myself as a Midwife. However, I was naiieve- my journey to Tennessee wasn't the end of the journey-it was a new beginning. My passion for a holistic approach to midwifery care has never left me, and I use this to support families through more challenging pregnancies. Women who are known within obstetrics to be 'high risk' deserve to be nurtured, cared for and given evidence based choices so they can make informed decisions regarding their care. I am humbled by the birth process and the families I serve. I am proudly a Registered Midwife, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and Tongue Tie Specialist. I also volunteer for the Association of Breastfeeding Mothers as Regional Supervisor for the East of England, and as well as being a Trustee for the charity, I run a weekly support group for Breastfeeding Families. My family life finds me as a single parent to my daughter aged 20, and two sons, aged 17 and 15, life is a challenge with teenagers, but they are great fun! Our family time includes eating too many roast dinners and camping in our VW called 'Old Bill', and in my spare time enjoy swimming, walking and running with our crazy rescue puppy 'Blue'.

For 20 years I’ve dedicated my life to inspiring others by teaching the self-awareness and self-care practices of connecting to the body and mind through various styles of yoga, mindfulness meditation, physical activity & trauma sensitive approaches to healing and recovery. My own life, and decades of working with diverse groups of people all over the world, taught me that when we take good care of ourselves, we value and appreciate others, and forge a better connection with the natural world on which we depend. My Bio includes more on my background, training, research papers and publications About four decades ago, yoga originally began as a way to care for my sore bones and tender tissues traumatized by a childhood fall, taught by a specialist teacher, practising what was then known as remedial yoga, today commonly referred to as yoga therapy. I know, without a doubt, that yoga and mindfulness meditation can heal the body, centre and focus the mind and restore sagging spirits. But being human and subject to the pressures of life, I didn’t always listen! Insecurity had me chasing a career: from teaching to working my way to senior roles alongside the great and the good in global Public Relations and communications for various not-for-profits and humanitarian organisations. The stress levels were stratospheric though it provided a dubious kind of glamour! Then one day I was diagnosed with a TIA (a stroke). And I listened. You don’t have to go through the same! Today, my work is varied: working therapeutically with patients referred for psychiatric care in a team of psychiatrists, psychotherapists and others; to teaching mindfulness-based and yoga classes & courses to the public who come in all shapes, colours and sizes. I am also interested in healing traditions from other cultures as a pathway to wholeness, e.g., shamanism. It’s been my privilege to lead programmes in partnership with local government agencies, GPs, academics, schools and corporate organisations to support everyone from children, young adults, working people, stressed, anxious and clinically depressed people, & those suffering with trauma diagnoses to learn ways to restore their wellbeing with skills and knowledge with an evidence base in science, mindfulness and yoga-based traditions. I have enhanced DBS and teach either group or one-to-one sessions online or in person: Weekly group yoga and mindfulness-based meditation classes (online & in person) One-to-one sessions and courses (online & in person) Yoga and mindfulness courses & workshops for all levels (dates to be confirmed) A blog and social media posts to inspire and provide resources to oil the wheels of your week (irregular!) A few retreats a year where you can immerse yourself in learning body wisdom and mind craft among kind, friendly and welcoming groups of like-souled people. In my free time I enjoy travel or watching travel documentaries, learning languages, walks with Mother Nature, the gym (not really but I do resistance exercise), music, art and dancing – Argentine tango and historical dances from the Baroque and Regency periods with the Winchester Baroque Dancers and Duke of Wellington’s Dancers. I am a Jane Austen superfan or Janeite and appear in a BBC documentary commemorating 200 years of her death in 2017! I have twin nephews and a niece, who all started practising yoga while very young. I’m hoping to add a rescue pug to the family very soon.

Duck and Dive was formed over 25 years ago. After teaching scuba diving in Cyprus, Garry returned to the United Kingdom and opened Duck and Dive, originally teaching theory from his grandmother’s cellar in Eccleshill in Bradford. A few months later we had out grown the premises, so bought a static caravan at Moor Valley Park, Hawksworth, over the moors near Baildon. This became his base for academic training for 6 years. Previously using Shipley dive pool for practical teaching, it was limited to 45 minutes a week and it was used for as long as possible before moving to Tong pool, which we used twice a week on Thursday and Saturdays. Unfortunately, Bradford MDC closed the pool, so operations were moved to Bingley Grammar school. The pool was not deep enough for Scuba and was not fit for purpose, it was then, we decided to be in control of his own destiny and build his own pool In Shipley. Ten years ago, the journey of The Aqua clinic begun. Before the pool was built we had a fully functioning and stocked dive shop in the building next door in Shipley. It was here in the late 1990’s he started teaching technical diving and exploring ship wrecks around the UK. This led onto Garry forming a company called Narked at 60, which was his own brand of diving equipment and was one of the first online e-commerce scuba equipment web stores. This evolved into the range being sold in most major dive shops in the UK and in an array of dive stores around the world. This success meant bigger premises were required so we moved to a larger unit off Preston street in Bradford. Work commenced with the famous brand RAB clothing on our under-suit garments, Typhoon international and ISP for our buoyancy products and Bowstone diving on the design and development of utility equipment. Garry then worked with specialist metal work companies their services of laser cutting, tumbling/ deburring, electro polishing and powder coating of the stainless-steel range which helped make a more rounded product. Garry also teamed up with local companies in the Yorkshire region to offer dry suit repairs and produce his own branded Narked at 60 made to measure Dry suits, both in neoprene and membrane materials. Garry worked with Business link and target export support team (TESS) and wrote manuals for their product range and CE marked goods. This enabled him to start travelling to worldwide exhibitions, demonstrating the British made product range and signing up distributors helping him to become one of the biggest British made suppliers. This was run in line with him teaching courses in which students were using his own equipment, this included police forces across the U.K. At its peak he was teaching over 450 students a year at all levels and became some of the youngest TDI /SDI Instructors in Europe. Garry has been a PADI instructor for over 25 years and retains his qualification. Garry has worked with the BBC helping produce documentaries for the television and has written articles for the Telegraph & Argus newspaper and technical dive magazines. Garry in 2008 started work with building his own pools in the current premises and he was keen to teach main stream scuba and offer specialised swimming lessons which is offered today in Duck and Dive.

The Education Committee recommended at its meeting of 21 August 1997 that – ‘the adoption of a distinctive dress code chosen to enhance the ethos of the school should be encouraged in all schools’. Given that there is substantial parental and public approval of uniform, schools in Argyll and Bute are free to encourage the wearing of school uniform. In Strone Primary School, the suggested uniform is as follows: BOYS: Strone School sweatshirt (which is bright red and bears the school logo, plain red jumper or cardigan.) Black or grey trousers. White shirt or school polo shirt Black School Shoes GIRLS: Strone School sweatshirt (which is bright red and bears the school logo, plain red jumper or cardigan.) Black or grey skirts or trousers. White blouse or school polo shirt Black School Shoes PE KIT: T-shirt, shorts, training shoes. Indoor and outdoor training shoes required. T-shirt and training shoes should be kept in a bag with pupil’s name on it. At Strone Primary we use the outdoor environment as a valuable resource for our curriculum. The children are frequently outdoors and therefore we would ask that they all have a pair of wellies that they can keep in school. We are able to provide waterproof jackets and trousers for all our pupils. Please note that school uniform is not compulsory and it is not policy to insist on pupils wearing uniform or having specialist items of clothing in order to engage in all of the activities of the curriculum. As such, pupils will not be deprived of any educational benefit as a result of not wearing uniform. Hi I am Alex and I help dogs and their hard working owners to live in harmony with one another. It all started with Captain... I started my journey with a big and bouncy rescue Golden Retriever called Captain in 1993. Captain was a bundle of fun, but always getting into mischief! He drove my poor Dad up the wall with his antics! My funniest memory with him (but not so funny for my Dad) was when my Dad was doing the undesirable task of digging out the dog waste toilet that hadn't worked properly. He popped upstairs for a few minutes, but whilst he was out of sight Captain decided to do some excavating of his own and dug in the pile of poo! When my dad came back Captain, ran in the house covered in poo, covering the house and then greeted my dad excitedly covering him as well! We took him to training classes, but they said he was too naughty to stay and called him “the fog," so we were politely asked to leave. I knew he was such a clever boy, with so much potential, I just needed to find the best way of training him so he could keep himself out of trouble and begin focusing and listening to me. My enthusiasm was ignited, I read every book I could find on the subject, and signed myself up to loads of courses. He loved to learn, and together we trained and laughed and found our way! My career began... I was working as a veterinary nurse at the time, but dog training and behaviour was my real passion and in 2001 I followed my dream, by getting a job as a guide dog mobility specialist at guide dogs. Working for guide dogs has given me a real solid foundation into the world of dog training, and I continue to work for them now, and absolutely love my job. However it wasn’t until my anxious and reactive dog came into my life that I could gain a real understanding of the loneliness and struggles that us anxious/reactive dog owners go through. Building on my knowledge (qualifications) and understanding I continued to delve deeper into the underlying emotions that my dog was going through, so I could help him navigate life in a human world. Dotty dogs begins... I realised that there were so many other owners out there going through the same challenges I have been through, and that I could reach out and help them to gain a good understanding of their dogs behaviour, with empathy and real understanding, so Dotty Dogs was born!
