youthful Arts Expressions was founded in 2021 by Eboni Taylor. Eboni Taylor is a highly trained and talented performer. She has featured in many performances both on stage and on screen and is also a Childhood and Youth studies undergrad. She has a passion working with young people and has created this performing arts school to spark dreams and to pass down her knowledge. We’re proud of the reputation that Youthful Arts Expressions has gained over the past couple of months- for a place where students and instructors alike can thrive and make the most of their talents. We gladly welcome creative and passionate students from everywhere. We run workshops for young people aged between 4-18! One off workshops, after school workshops, half term and holiday workshops. Youthful expressions is an ideal performing arts club for students to prepare for a career in the industry. The students can develop skills in all areas of performing arts as well as building confidence, having fun, socialising with new people and having the chance to showcase any creative work. Emma and I wear many hats: from designer and photographer to maker and workshop tutor. One of my first passions was photography, strongly inspired by my father and my uncle, who were both talented amateur photographers. Growing up in Namibia and South Africa, I remember my dad always having a camera in hand, recording our childhood or the stunning African landscape. As a teenager I poured over magazines like National Geographic, Drum and Life, feeling transported to distant lands through the incredible photography. I longed to leave school and travel the world, taking my own photographs. Eventually I got the chance to travel to many wonderful countries. But life got in the way and instead of pursuing my creative passions, I ended up working as a lawyer in London. The 2009 recession was a turning point in my life. Having been made redundant from my job in the City, I resolved to take the plunge and pursue a career that would make me feel more fulfilled. I decided to return to my childhood passion of photography. It’s a decision I’ve never regretted as it has led to some amazing opportunities, from co-founding the London Photo Festival to having my work featured in publications including The Telegraph and the Metro. It’s also taken me in directions I never could have anticipated. My frustration at having to juggle a bulky, unattractive camera bag as well as a handbag led me to create my own range of stylish camera bags and accessories. Over the past few years, I’ve become increasingly interested in sustainability, with an emphasis on using eco dyes, natural resources and recycled material. I now run classes along these principles which have been featured in Country Loving and Breath magazines. These take places in my she-shed in Twickenham and range from Christmas wreath making to cyanotype printing – “nature's printing press” – a more eco-friendly form of photography that is particularly effective at capturing texture. As a result of the pandemic, I’ve also started selling DIY creative kits so that you can try these crafts out in the comfort of your own home. It’s been gratifying to see these becoming so popular – my Christmas bauble kit appeared in the Metro and The Sunday Telegraph. The Rose Arts London was always a childhood dream of mine and it was manifested through a pain in my life, with the loss of my Grandad; Charles Alexander Gardner. He, alongside my Mother and Nan, supported me with my dance and drama training, performance career and attended all classes, auditions and performances. When he passed away, it pushed me to embrace my artistry and passions. The Rose represents three things: A dedication to my Grandad; His favourite flower A name influence; My middle name Rosetta and my mother Rosemarie The flourish of each child who trains with us. As a seed they begin but as ‘The Rose’ they grow. Experience My training began at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts and have been training in every discipline, since the age of 3 and teaching dance and drama since the age of 14. Ballet, Tap, Modern, Contemporary, Lyrical, Liturgical, Street Dance, Jazz, Commercial and Musical Theatre. Further to this, I attended college studied Performing Arts, obtaining distinctions in the art form, allowing me to receive an unconditional offer to University, where I obtained my degree in Dance Practice and Performance. I have had an extensive career in the arts, through stage, film and television and have received such amazing opportunities I am truly grateful for. About T.R.A.L. T.R.A.L. is a place for all Rose Students to discover, train, explore, create, challenge and motivate what they learn here and to ignite their passion, of why dance, drama, sport and song is such an amazing artistic outlet, which not only teaches creativity and utilises talent but also discipline. The role of the arts builds character and self-esteem and at The Rose Arts London, one of the assets that I hold as an important part, is the family friendly atmosphere.This delivers a guarantee from us, that our space is a positive and productive learning environment, where our students can grow, most importantly learn, and create in an energetic, confident building atmosphere. Students are able to discover more about themselves artistically, gain new friends and be proud to be a part of The Rose Arts. Myself and our teachers, who have work(ed) within the industry, aim to continually make The Rose Arts London a success, with the passion we hold and with which, our goal is to impart our experiences, knowledge and love of the arts to our students. Foxhole Community Garden CIC was founded in May 2015 by three childhood friends Zoe Jong, Kate Baker and Penny Hendy. The aim was to bring back into use Foxhole Community Garden as a resource for the local community and a place to offer therapeutic gardening sessions and gardening sessions for families. Our mission is to create and sustain an accessible, welcoming garden of use to people of all ages and sectors of the community. We use organic no-dig gardening methods and are working to create insect and wildlife habitats to encourage biodiversity in the garden. Zoe Jong is the garden co-ordinator and on-the-ground presence at the garden. A grower, gardener and forest school leader she runs most of the sessions at the garden and is the person to contact about the day-to-day running of the garden. C0- director Penny Hendy is a primary school teacher while director Kate Baker works as a children’s book editor. Alongside steering the overall vision and direction of the garden they provide administrative, governance and moral support which are invaluable in getting the project off the ground.

House of Quinn is a design practice creating small-batch collections of quilts, textiles and unique objects for abode and dwelling. Objects with a sense of place and function that are reflective of our daily rituals and which become part of our personal collections. Simple luxuries for everyday. Founded by Julius Arthur in 2016, House of Quinn is a place for exploration in craft, making and design by using traditional techniques and fundamental making practices to cultivate contemporary design narratives onto familiar objects. Julius’s work is grounded in uncomplicated materials and processes and inspired by an abstract view of the places and things around us. Growing up in Cornwall, memories of childhood and a sense of home and belonging intersect in Julius' work. Assembled from cloth, paper and materials at hand, Julius finds joy in the process of creating with stitching, painting and print. Quilts have become a staple motif in Julius' work. A way of combining materials, connecting through stitch and exploring shape, form and line. The connection between canvas and practical objects blurs the boundaries between art and function and the idea that objects used, bare meaning through their connection with the day-to-day.

Much of our work is inspired by nature, the elements and the picturesque countryside that surrounds us.Etched Feathers Our lives have been steeped in creativity from childhood as both of us come from creative families with arts and craft activities being very much a part of everyday life; we just could not imagine life any other way. We have a love of glass, the colours, the textures & the effects light can create and we never tire of experimenting with ideas and techniques; that is why we do what we do. We have been passing on our skills and knowledge to students for over a decade. We find it such a pleasure to see their skills progress and become fuelled with the same enthusiasm and creativity that has filled our lives for so many years.
