Cheltenham

Our mission is to work with educational institutions to develop educational solutions to support today’s learners. This will be achieved through activities, which include the strategic design and delivery of interactive and engaging programmes of study through to small online skills based learning courses (eg MOOCs), or through active support of and advice about an institutions’ innovation and change agenda. Examples of our specific areas of activity can be found here. Background The journey of today’s learners in the 21st century needs to reflect a world where shifting job roles and new technologies will impact significantly on career development. This is underpinned by current estimates about new millenials: They are estimated to work in some 15 to 20 job roles over their lifetime, The majority expect to work beyond 65 years of age (and 12% until they die), It is estimated that 65% of today’s school children will work in a job that doesn’t yet exist. Having the necessary skills and up to date knowledge and understanding to underpin multiple job roles over a lifetime will require a commitment to lifelong learning. With increasing state pension ages and average life expectancy worldwide this drives the need for educational solutions to support individuals gaining access to the right job roles and career development. Traditional models of higher education are increasingly costly for learners in developed markets and short of supply (and out of reach in terms of price) for learners in emerging economies. Innovative solutions are needed.

Newhaven

Why change when you can evolve? Evolution happens when we transcend and include what went before. To achieve this requires clarity of purpose, values and the deployment of our unique capabilities. Evolution is not about becoming something different, rather it's the process of becoming a deeper and fuller expression of who and what we essentially are. About Me I am Steve Creffield, a workshop facilitator, designer and coach. I am at my best hosting dynamic and innovative workshops in which people can discover, evolve and safely practice new approaches. I also enjoy the richness of working 1-1 with clients in a coaching capacity and as a designer. For over two decades, I have hosted workshops in Universities, the Health Sector, and NGO's in UK and worked globally with clients like the United Nations, The Palladium Group, WaterAid, and many more. The projects we work on are aligned to developing shared meaning and purpose, improving collaboration, and focus on innovative ways to move forward. My approach integrates research and insights from multiple fields and weaves them into creative workshops, coaching and bespoke solutions. Solution-focused techniques, Living Systems approaches and storytelling underpin much of what I do. My aim always is to adapt and refine this approach so that it aligns with your hopes and aspirations. If you would like to talk through ideas, needs, or the way I work then you can message me directly here and I would be delighted to hear from you.

Lorna Pilates Sheffield

My background is nursing having worked as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner in the Emergency department for many years, formally working as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in a GP surgery. I am passionate about helping people become well and whole, to live life to their full potential. My career took a change of course when I trained to become a Body Control Pilates teacher, after a number of years of personal experience in Body Control Pilates, which I started after advice from a physiotherapist. I have appreciated the benefit of Pilates for my own health as well as improved performance in the sport I do - climbing, mountain biking, skiing. Through Pilates and working with those with PoTS and Long-COVID, I wanted to learn more about breathing, and realised the benefit of breathing well has on our health and wellbeing. For a long time I have been aware of the mind-body connection and the influence of stress (current, past and personality types) have on our body. I am now trained as a Stress Induced Recovery Practitioner working with those with stress induced symptoms. Movement and breathing and acknowledging the impact of stress on our body, will help calm our nervous system. I have a specific interest in those with Postural Tachycardia Syndrome (PoTS), Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder (HSD) and Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (hEDS), Myalgic encephalomyelitis or chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS), Long-COVID and any other chronic health conditions.
