Our Aims SATRO is a long established educational charity working across South Central England. We work in schools, partnering with employers to bring inspirational learning to students of all abilities and backgrounds. We have three key areas of focus: STEM Education: delivering in-school workshops, multi-school challenges and events, and research projects which bring STEM learning and careers to life for students from Primary to Post-16. Vocational Construction: delivering BTEC Level 1 construction qualifications, practical construction workshops and SEN independent skills training from school age to young adults. Employability & Skills: delivering careers, enterprise & skills workshops and mentoring partnerships which challenge perceptions and prepare students for their next steps in education, training or employment. All areas of our work directly involve employers in the development of real-world scenarios and careers understanding, including the involvement of staff as volunteers in delivery. We offer our services to all types of schools and students of all abilities - accepting every student for who they are. We provide a full service to schools from booking, to the provision of all materials & equipment required on the day, administration of volunteers and delivery is led by experienced tutors. We measure impact and feedback for all interventions with input from students, teachers and volunteers. As a charity we engage with charitable trusts, individual donors and corporate responsibility programmes. A key focus for us as a charity is to bring our work to those lacking access to opportunities in our three key programme areas.

The LYF is an enterprising, small charity – but one that achieves big results.Despite the dreadful challenges for so many of us throughout 2020-21, this period has marked a very challenging – but a positive time for the LYF. We’ve been working hard to get our ‘Open Sourcing’ Farmer Radio initiative out there! Basically, this means that some of the poorest farming communities in the world will be able to set up their own ‘Farmers’ Voice Radio Stations’ – using the free resources and help that we’ll be able to provide! As a small charity, we don’t believe in feathering our own nest. And we do believe that all our learning and the resources that we have created through our ground-breaking programme should get to those who need it the most. At no cost to them. Our Risk Assessor will need access to all areas of the site. Just ensure that an authorised person is on site the day/days of the risk assessment. A PDF copy will be emailed to you upon completion and once you are happy that all details are correct we will send the final documents in PDF Format. A hard copy in a red fire training folder can be purchased at an extra cost of £20 plus VAT. This includes postage. Emergency Evacuation Plans The Sweep and Clear System is recognised by the Fire Authority as the best system to confirm the evacuation of a building. We draw high quality Fire Marshal Sweep Zone Plans, Fire Action Notice Boards and write your personalised evacuation procedures. As part of your Evacuation Plans, we include your in-depth Fire Strategy with a comprehensive statement of your commitment to the requirements of Fire Legislation and Health & Safety. Your bespoke Emergency Evacuation Plans will include: Fire Incident Coordinator Board Fire Marshal Sweep Zone Board Fire Action Notice Board for General Staff including plan Fire Strategy, Management Policy and Procedure The plans will be emailed to you and once you are happy, they are all accurate we will send the final documents in PDF format. In 2009, Zaytuna College was founded in Berkeley, CA, with a mission that called for grounding students in the Islamic scholarly tradition as well as in the cultural currents and critical ideas shaping modern society. Today, we welcome students from across the world to both our BA and MA programs. Our BA program is in liberal arts and Islamic studies, providing students with a foundation in the intellectual heritage of two major world civilizations: the Islamic and the Western. For our MA program we offer two tracks in Islamic texts: Islamic theology and philosophy or Islamic law and legal theory. This program aims to provide students with higher-level access to the Islamic tradition through a guided course of study in Islam’s primary sources. At Zaytuna College, we have set out to do our best at restoring the broad-based, holistic tradition of what in the West was called the liberal arts and in the Muslim civilization was known as comprehensive studies. These civilizations share common aims: to think deeply and systematically about the world (creation), to ponder its ultimate source and purpose (Creator), and to live ethically in the course of our individual and collective lives (spirituality and politics). Ultimately, the purpose of education from an Islamic perspective—and for Zaytuna College—is to aid students in their own pursuit and discovery, inculcating the love of beauty, truth, and goodness in a human being.

Welcome to the home page of the Temple of Thelema and College of Thelema, a California Non-Profit Religious organization. Temple of Thelema is a true Outer Order of the Greater Mysteries, providing ceremonial initiation; structured training; and regular group work, all in conformity with the principles of The Book of the Law. An investment of time, effort, and commitment is expected from each member. Each is expected to aspire fervently to the Great Work; to dare, with courage undaunted, to perfect that Work; and ever to apply his or her best effort to effect Harmony within the Order, and within the world in general. Each of our locations holds at least 2 monthly private meetings for initiates of the order, supplemented with classes and other instruction online. Additionally each body holds Public Rites open to all. Founded in service to the A∴A∴, the College of Thelema seeks to guide the student to an understanding of the Law of Thelema. Most especially, this means a deeper understanding of oneself and of one's True Will. A combination of instruction techniques is employed, including seminars, written texts, and individual work. For over twenty years, the College of Thelema published the journals In the Continuum (1973-1996) and Black Pearl (1997-2003), maintaining high standards in Thelemic education. Business development and IP support in Greater ManchesterManchester has a long history of supporting enterprise and innovation. In 1919 the Commercial Library opened in Manchester’s Royal Exchange, providing free access to the region’s businesses and residents to information about trade and industry. The Commercial Library operated in Central Library until the re-opening of the building in 2014, when it became the Business & IP Centre Manchester. In March last year the Government announced plans to invest £13m over three years to expand and build on the success of the Business & IP Centre network, headquartered at the British Library. This major investment has enabled the British Library to widen its support network to local entrepreneurs in towns and cities across the country via a hub and spoke model centred on the 15 existing Centres across the country. Our plans are ambitious, encompassing seven neighbouring authorities, plus Lancaster and Blackpool. Our existing partnerships with many of the libraries gave us a good starting point – well established links via the long standing Ask About Business collaboration, providing information, workshops and support for startups, businesses and inventors. However the new regional expansion will also include Lancaster Library, who weren’t previously involved and have extended our geographical reach even further up the north west coastline! What does the BIPC expansion bring? Firstly there are new branded spoke BIPC’s in specific spaces within Altrincham, Ashton, Blackpool, Bolton, Bury, Lancaster, Oldham, Eccles and Stockport Libraries.
